Brian created an amazing meal for us: a salad, appetizers, eggplant parm, and dessert! So delicious.

We could not be happier with the recommendation as the appetizers and entrées were absolutely stunning -- both in flavor and aesthetics! Our biggest difficulty was choosing dishes from his diverse catalog of offerings since they all sounded delicious. He was also very accommodating and made various adjustments to account for particular food allergies that some of our guests had (without compromising on flavor at all). For appetizers, we chose: - Pepper-Crusted Seared Ahi Tuna (Seka Hills EVOO, Sicilian Pesto, Herbs) - Ratatouille Tarts (Puff Pastry, Seka Hills EVOO, Parmigiano Reggiano) - Pistachio Flatbread (Onion, Burrata, Honey, and Chili Oil -- this one was a extra-huge hit with all guests) For dinner, we started with a Local Harvest Salad (Farm Vegetables, Fruit, Vinaigrette, Cheese, and Nuts -- plating was particularly beautiful for the salad), and had three entrée options: - Wagyu New York Steak (Imperial American Wagyu, Roasted Vegetables, Marinated Portobello Mushrooms, Potato Galette, and Red Wine Jus) - Signature Duck (Mary's Crusted Duck Breast, Hind-Quarter Confit, Potato Cake, Charred Vegetables, and Duck Jus) - Roasted Butternut Squash with Cannellini Beans (Charred Vegetables, Marinated Portobello Mushrooms, and Saffron-Rosemary Broth) Throughout our entire wedding and afterwards, guests were telling us how impressed they were and that it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding! He and his team arrived right on schedule, set up (including silverware and plates) cooked and served outstanding food, provided extremely attentive service, and then cleaned up, leaving the kitchen absolutely spotless (while also deftly navigating a brief power outage!). We cannot recommend Adam Small Cooks highly enough! His food, attention to detail, and service are truly next level. Thank you again for making our wedding so special!

Chef Adam was amazing!!!…read more We celebrated a friend's birthday with 6 people at an Airbnb in Sonoma. We had a six course menu (see below for details) that was excellent! For the vegetarian in the group (me) he was able to whip up a wonderful dish when everyone else was eating halibut. Every single dish was a stand out and the group was so happy with how everything turned out. This was a wish of the birthday girl - to have a private chef and to spend time with her girlfriends. She was blown away by the experience. The 6 course meal included: Fried Baby Artichokes: lemon aioli, herbs, chili oil Flatbread: preserved truffle, pistachios, onion, burrata, honey, chili oil Ash Roasted Beets: kimchi honey, pistachios, ravigote, feta Charred Zucchini Agnolotti: fried sage, brown butter, lemon, pepper, parmigiana Seared Halibut: fennel-potato salad, herbs, haricot vert, preserved truffle champagne sauce Under-Baked Chocolate Cake: Italian meringue, Luxardo cherries, cocoa nibs Also, our kitchen was left spotless! Thanks again Chef Adam for giving us the perfect first day of our trip!

I've tried several healthy delivery food options out there but always get sick of them after a while because the meals are too healthy or boring. The customization of Lucy's meals perfectly balances health/nutrition with taste. She only uses healthy oils, sugar alternatives, tons of veggies and herbs, and she does all gluten and dairy free per our request. It's also awesome to be able to request my favorite dishes and try new ones. I always throw random ethnic dishes at her, and she somehow nails it every time! I work in mental health, and I'm a strong advocate for parents outsourcing if they can afford it. It creates jobs for others in our community and relieves stress, which helps us to show up better for our children. Totally worth it!

Such a possibility never crossed my mind and I nearly forgot about the suggestion. But as we were getting closer to the date, we started to give more thought and decided to contract Sophie Le Doré for our party, or should we say "feast", as this was really a feast in more than one way. From the discussion about our menu, to meeting Sophie in pers to the preparation by Chef Sophie in our kitchen: everything went very smoothly and exactly as expected. And then, once we sat down, we were in for a real treat. The food was just delicious: "Un regal" ! Beautiful plates with delicious food, all prepared fresh from ingredients Sophie picked that very morning. Our guests were delighted, we were delighted to be able to spend this time with them instead of toiling in the kitchen. This could not have been a better decision. We would hire Chef Sophie again without any hesitation.

Each week she was with us, she would prepare a delicious menu of items which fit our highly restrictive dietary needs. With us working with a dietician and a physician, we'd try different menu items to see how the food improved our health over time. Some weeks it would be purely vegan, other times a Mediterranean diet, and still others as we tried balancing pescatarian cuisines. Chef Sophie needed to experiment with different milk substitutes, evening finding a way to make delicious chicken marsala with oat milk! The breadth of her cooking expertise is vast, and we were the great beneficiaries of her talents and kindness. She was extremely accommodating; with each change dietary change, she would whip-up delicious and nutritious meals. Each session, would include a pre-set meal with some proposed items from us and other selections from Chef Sophie. She would arrive to our home with bags of organic and highly nutritious diverse vegetables (all colors of the rainbow!). After preparing the meals, and placing them into storage containers, she would clean-up the kitchen and wash the dishes as needed. We would always know when Chef Sophie was over as the entire home would smell like a restaurant. Chef Sophie has brought tremendous joy to our lives. They say "you are what you eat", and with Chef Sophie, we were in great hands! We would highly recommend her to anyone. You will not be disappointed!

Chef Eric brings all of the ingredients and a lot of his own supplies- he just needs a working stove/oven and a bit of fridge space to work his magic! He brought some of his own fancy plateware for the main course and dessert, and used our forks, drink ware and other plates. In terms of timing, he arrives about 1-1.5 hours before service to set up and get ready. For service, he brought out fresh utensils and presented each dish to us! We're big foodies and he was nice enough to answer some of our questions about the food, technique, and his background. My partner and I started with a little gem salad that was truly stunning and delicious! My partner mentioned it was the best food to be served on our plates! The salad was then followed by a warm and yummy spring pea and asparagus risotto. I had the roasted chicken roulade stuffed with herbs with romesco sauce and veggies, and my partner had the steak au poivre with pomme puree and veggies. Both of these were great but we both agreed the steak was our fav! For dessert, we had the strawberry shortcake which was "not too sweet" and a perfect and light way to end the night! What delighted us the most was that Chef Eric had cleaned the whole kitchen (loaded the dishwasher, cleaned the stove, emptied the dish rack), AND PROVIDED LEFTOVERS! Seriously so stoked to eat more of the salad and strawberry shortcake. All in all, this was an awesome experience and we would definitely contact Chef Eric again for another dinner!
