Delina was a wonderful hygienist who explained the process really well and taught me how to take better care of my teeth. Someone close to me wrote an honest review on my behalf since I don't normally use Yelp, and I was contacted multiple times with demands to remove it. That alone felt unprofessional and uncomfortable. Patients should never be pressured about their reviews. Regardless of who posts it, it's still my experience. I asked for new retainers after mine broke and made it clear I wanted my old ones remade since my teeth had shifted. I even brought in my original model from when my braces came off, only to be laughed at by staff who said they had "3D technology." Yet that "technology" led to scanning my already-shifted teeth and giving me the wrong thing. When I questioned it, I was brushed off with, "those are aligners, you asked for retainers." It's not my job to know or correct terminology -- it's their job to explain what I'm receiving and why. To make it worse, I later found out they had remade molds without telling me or clarifying if insurance would cover it. Billing was just as bad. I was never quoted upfront. First I was told $200, then they tried to charge me $350 and call it a "discount." I later learned my insurance did cover it -- they just failed to file properly. When I called to point that out, I was rudely told it was my responsibility to know coverage, even though that's literally their job. In the end, I had to show proof from my insurance that I only owed $166. Their excuse? That my "old insurance" used to cover it fully -- but I haven't had that plan since 2022, and they've had my updated insurance on file for every cleaning since. They later claimed these were remakes of my 2021 retainers, but it was clear they were just reissuing the same first set of my already shifted teeth. By then, I was so frustrated I just gave up. Overall, I felt uncomfortable, dismissed, and pressured. Between the lack of transparency, billing games, and repeated requests to take down my review, this was one of the most unprofessional dental experiences I've ever had. Instead of worrying so much about Yelp, this office should focus on honesty, clear communication, and staff who actually know how to verify insurance coverage. I had the most amazing experience with not only Dr. Lee but every member of his staff! About six months ago, I discovered I had a cavity that needed filling. I went to two dentists before finding Dr. Lee's office to get estimates for the work. The first dentist quoted me $500 for a filling, which I unfortunately couldn't afford. The second dentist, however, told me I needed a root canal, a crown, and additional work, estimating the total cost at $5,000. That didn't sit right with me, so I decided to get a consultation at Dr. Lee's office a couple of weeks ago. At my consultation, I was first seen by Dr. Chan, who was very honest with me. He explained that they would start with a filling but that there was a possibility it might turn into a root canal--unlike the previous dentist, who insisted I needed one immediately. That honesty alone made me feel like they weren't just trying to make money off of me. When the time came for my procedure, I was extremely nervous--not so much about the dental work itself but about having to sit still (I struggle with anxiety in those situations). Dr. Lee, who ended up doing my filling and cleaning, along with his dental assistant (I feel terrible for not asking her name again--she was the absolute sweetest), was very understanding. Throughout the entire procedure, they kept checking on me, asking if I was okay or needed a break. To my surprise, I felt completely fine the whole time! Best of all, I experienced absolutely no pain. Even when they gave me the shot to numb me further, I didn't even realize I had been injected because they used a numbing gel beforehand--something no other dentist had ever done for me. That was another huge plus! I'll be going back in two weeks to fill two more cavities, but I can genuinely say I am not nervous at all. I've been coming here for over a decade and I have a few family members coming here too based on my recommendation. The service is always on time with zero wait. The teeth cleaning is great especially when Vi does it. Dr Lee is thorough in his exam and answers all of my questions in an easy-to-understand manner. She even took the time to explain how to floss under an upper bridge. I was very pleased and will ask for her the next time I need a cleaning. Highly recommended!! I can only post one review, how annoying! A cavity was found during my x-rays. I came back this week to get it filled. Dr Lee did a lovely job. The tooth is hard to work on because part of it is behind another tooth. He did a great job with the filling, taking the time to make the sides smooth so food wouldn't get caught. I just tried coming for the first time since my mom recommended him, and I was pretty happy with my treatment. I had to get a metal filling replaced since a chunk of it came off during flossing, so I got it replaced with a composite one (while I had my metal braces on, too!), and so far, it's looking and feeling good. So let's be real. I hadn't had a cleaning in over 4 YEARS. I was NOT expecting a gentle cleaning. The biggest issue I've had with dentists in the past is honesty. Let me tell you, I've never had a more honest dentistry experience than this one. They were real, informative, and did their best to communicate and allowed me to ask as many questions as I needed answered for better proper care for myself. I also had an issue with a crown that was done years ago along with a root canal and Dr. Lee was quick to examine and shave an area of the tooth that bothered me for years after having the procedure. My tooth feels way more natural after the fact and I truly hope I won't have anymore pain associated with it as well. As far as the cleaning, I've always had 3s and 2s in terms of gum health and hearing 4s and 5s was alarming, but the dental hygienist was honest with me in describing what I'm doing wrong and how much plaque I truly had from... not cleaning as often as I should have, which I am incredibly guilty of as well. Whoops! There is no hiding the truth! They will find the truth from you! As far as cleaning goes at least. Dr. Brian Lee has me coming back for more world class dental care. I accidentally chipped one of my front teeth at home before, and he did a great job making the filling look super realistic. I basically immediately forgot I had a filling done. Today, he fixed up my other front tooth, which was slightly craggy. And his work was perfect. The small details--grooves, transparent effects, and all that--were beautifully captured in his craftmanship. And when I saw the final sculpt, I couldn't believe anything ever happened to it in the first place. Great cleaning--the staff are well trained to teach patients how to brush and floss effectively so they have good dental hygiene. And they're very nice. Updated latest and greatest machines: 3-D imaging, X-rays, etc. The plaza may seem a bit on the older side on the outside, but once you get in, it's basically the 22nd century. I cannot rave enough about this office. They're extremely empathetic and responsive to urgent phone calls/emergency visits and general concerns. I've had 3 encounters total with Dr Michelle Dang and Dr Brian Lee. Instance #1: Dr. Dang helped me in 2019 when I got into a bad auto accident and ended up fracturing my teeth. I didn't know my migraines were caused by my fractures and assumed it was just neck tightness initially. She was able to help me with the two emergency root canals. I wasn't working at the time due to my auto accident injuries, and didn't have edd, so she and Dr. Lee were gracious enough to reduce the cost of the visit for me since getting me proper treatment was priority more than profit. Instance #2: Dr. Lee saw me recently to help me get a third opinion on my teeth and reassured me as the second dentist had, claiming my tooth didn't need a root canal as the original dentist suggested. Note he also does Botox injection, which piqued my curiosity if it would be beneficial for my TMJ caused from my 2021 car accident. However, Dr. Lee mentioned I wouldn't be a good candidate for Botox for my TMJ since it was a mechanical issue. This was also confirmed later by my pain management specialist. Instance #3: Dr. Lee also saw me today to help me remove a particle that was lodged in my gums, no charge (bless his sweet soul!). I was extremely stressed about the matter last night and lost sleep over the issue, and had left a voicemail to the office around 1am. The office called me first thing at 9am that day and got me seen at 10am - such quick follow up!! Dr. Lee helped me remove the particle with proper tools in a swift effort that just minutes. This office has a 3d imaging scan that's more efficient than the simple, outdated x-rays compared to my old office. I am looking forward to coming back the coming year as a long term patient of the office. Happy I found a reliable dentist office cause we all know how difficult that search can be...!
