We picked Rebecca because we adored her style. We were not looking for formal, posed portraits for our wedding; we wanted to capture the real and spontaneous moments of the day that, to us, make it special. Rebecca does this flawlessly. Her photos capture the emotion and feeling of the moment in a really true and honest way. Because we were on a budget, Rebecca worked with us to give us a package that fit our needs at a price we could afford. She talked at length with us about what we were looking for, and made sure to get shots of details we wanted to be sure not to miss. Her professionalism was bar none, and she coordinated with other staff to ensure we got all the photos we wanted just right and without needing us to assist, so all we had to do was sit back and enjoy the day. The end result was nothing short of magical. We went to Susan's studio, on what I swear was the hottest day of all time and although I felt hot and sweaty and yucky, the pictures turned out fabulous. The ones of my husband and my kid are just PRICELESS and they make me so happy. Susan has a way of capturing the moment so that all the joy and expression and emotion just comes through. If there wasn't a photo to prove it, you'd never know there was a photographer documenting the moment and for me, that's the style I like. The studio isn't huge, but there's a back room for changing, a bathroom, and the standard drape for girl's graduation photos and suit jackets, shirts, and even bow ties for boys. We brought a number of outfits and were able to get shots of all of them. They have a number of props, backdrops, and scenery projections, which is what we were after. These guys have been in business 30 years and it shows. I think we've already found our wedding photographers!

I decided to come to Caston Studio for my professional headshot after reading many great reviews…read moreabout them. When I arrived, a partner of Mr. Caston took my photos. Afterwards, Mr. Caston had me look through the photos only once. After I commented that a couple photos looked good, he immediately began editing one of the photos without confirming which one I actually wanted to be edited. I wanted more time to look at the photos. When I asked if I can have some time to view them at home and then let him know which one I wanted to be edited, he told me it was not possible and I would have to pay extra for that. As I did not have enough time to look through the photos to pick out the one I liked the most, I had to pay an extra $110 on top of the $135 photoshoot for a USB with the rest of the photos even though I just wanted proofs. I was very unhappy with the quality of this service and Mr. Caston's attitude towards me. I wish I wasn't rushed by him and he could have offered me an option of proofs instead of charging me an extra $110 for photos. I would definitely not recommend Caston Studio.

We show up, have a blast taking the pics, then we get sit down to choose them...I thought something was off when they started the presentation with payment plan options....turns out the little "$500" means nothing when these portraits minimum start at 2.2k. We felt backed against the corner, threw it on a credit card, and walked out like did that just happen??? Then fast forward 3 months to pick it up, it comes with NO FRAME! No one told us that we paid for a picture on cardboard for 2.2k. Genuinely mind blowing. Putting people in uncomfortable positions and misleading them is NOT a way to do business.

However, the prices were just absolutely astronomical and it is such a sales gimmick. It was an additional $29 cost to have just one photo of my youngest, and they were unable to get her to smile and told me that I needed to be in the picture which I did not wish to be in since it's for my kids I don't feel that they took the very best pictures of my oldest and then we were ushered into a room where we were trying to be sold up to $15,000 photos and Portraits. It is just not something my family can afford to do and so even with leaving with only two standard small pictures, one 14 inch and one 10 inch I ended up spending almost $600. Mind you that our session was supposed to be free and we used the thousand dollar credit towards the 14 inch photo. As much as I would like to recommend this place, I felt like everybody was scripted to sell and they weren't taking very natural pictures, which is why I don't have any photos of my youngest smiling.

They do a great job, they book up fast so call in advance and they also are great about keeping up with a waiting list around the holidays etc. Very professional, they knew not to shave my sheltie and many dog places don't have the education and will shave certain breeds that should not be shaved but instead should get a short trim otherwise the hair may never grow back the same. They have non-heat dryers and even offer a cheaper puppy visit so your dog can have a more fun and less stressful first visit to get to know the place and the people there. The owner has professional training/education and is very kind. I have a 7 month old puppy now so this is my second dog I have brought to them and with a long-haired dog (sheltie) we go often to keep the undercoat brushed out.

However, when I called to discuss it with the owner, he was more than happy to help. He went through and investigated the situation/preference cards, did not blame it on staff, all while trying to provide the best customer service he could. They were able to fit my two dogs in last minute which I appreciated and they did an excellent job. Even if it was a sub optimal groom, having an owner who works with customers to try and navigate problems and make them right makes this business stand out. Thank you!
