After assessing the difficulty of the tow (a vehicle without keys, parked on a residential street in-between two other parked cars) they quoted a totally fair and reasonable price. Since, without keys, the vehicle couldn't be moved out of its parking spot in a traditional way, they actually found a neighbor to move their car so the tow truck could get behind our vehicle. This is an incredibly thorough and smart level of service. Once the vehicle was dropped off at its destination, Mr. Hook Towing sent photos to show exactly where it was parked. Then, ini minutes, I was able to pay over the phone and got an emailed receipt. The tow truck driver who answered was immediately rude and unprofessional. Due to the poor customer service, I decided to cancel the request. At that point, the representative became hostile, yelling profanities and directing racial slurs at me because of my accent. This type of behavior is completely unacceptable and reflects very poorly on the company. No customer should be subjected to harassment, discrimination, or verbal abuse for simply requesting an update or choosing to cancel a service. After I canceled the towing service due to unprofessional and delayed service, the situation escalated further. The representative continued to call me multiple times in what appeared to be a harassing and taunting manner. During this calls, he used extremely vulgar language and made repeated offensive racial insults targeting me because of my accent. the behavior was aggressive, abusive, and completely unprofessional. I will be filing a formal complaint with Consumer Affairs and reporting this incident through the appropriate channels.
