We came here from a recommendation from my boss that used to work nearby. Great sub shop and easily the best food we tried in Dublin! We were visiting my dad in the hospital in Dublin and had to bring him one too. He comes to Dublin often and never had it before! I've created a monster I think because that is going to be one of his spots now. The Brian's special was SO good! I ate 1/4th and was full. These subs are giant. The bread is very tasty and fresh. My husband made a rookie mistake and got a cheesesteak and the meat was identical to the SteakUms I make at home. This isn't the spot for a cheesesteak, but their deli subs are great!

We were in town for a Baseball Conference and decided to stop in for a quick dinner. These subs are Amazing. The bread is so soft and fresh. After taking your order, they slice your meat and cheese on the spot for your sandwiches. The condiments are crispy and fresh as well. (We both ordered large subs and saved 1/2 for lunch the next day because they were so large.) The staff is super quick and we were in and out in under 10 minutes and the gentleman in front of us had ordered 10 subs. They flew through the task in minutes. The guys working there are super friendly and smiling through the whole process; they ask you questions and engage with their customers which is rare these days. Stop in if you're in town, you won't be sorry. Take note though, they're closed on Sundays.

Tasty sub every time! My favorite is the Brian's Special--loaded with cold cuts, fresh toppings, and served on a soft, flavorful bun. Even the half-size sub is generously portioned and hearty. We also enjoy their catering services. The subs we love cut into smaller portions with all the sides included! Comes in a round tray and always prepared on time!

We went to BGS for lunch today. It was around 11:30 a.m. and the line wasn't bad; maybe 6 people in front of us. It seems we just missed the lunch rush because there was a long line when we left. The staff was friendly and quick. I ordered the grilled chicken salad and my hubby ordered half a turkey sub. Everything was good and fresh. The dining area was clean with a good amount of seating.

Crazy good local sandwich place. Fresh bread, baked in store. Great sandwich selections. Tea was great too. Cash or check only.

Tried out a new to us Sub place! Ordered a salad and my husband ordered a tuna sub. He said the bread was "ok" but not great! The salad was $10, but it was huge! Had 2 meals out of it. We took it to go because it was pretty warm inside. Make sure you bring cash or have cash app or Venmo because they do not take credit cards! Service was awesome, made sandwich rather quickly, and all the staff was very friendly! Will be going back especially for another salad! And I forgot to take a picture of anything!!

Dynamite sandwiches! Maybe the best I've ever eaten, and I eat a lot of sandwich's. The service is always impeccable and the environment friendly and welcoming. They know most regular customers by name and usually what sandwich you want. Meats are sliced fresh to order. Highly recommend.

What an unassuming gem of a restaurant! Traveling from Atlanta to Savannah for the holiday and found many places closed early. I'm happy it happened this way because we ended up here. Fresh, perfectly sized bread, quality ingredients and good customer service make this simple sub shop worth the extra drive. Great sandwiches. Great staff. Convenient location in middle of town. No drive through, but there would have to be a special intersection built if there were one because traffic would back up. Cash only but ATM on site. The only way I'd eat Subway in Dublin is if I had it purchased for me. Not turning down free food. But Brian's is ten times better with fresh sliced meat and great efficiency in ordering. Top notch all around. Definitely try the Brian's Special. read more

My husband and I were in Dublin for a Doctors visit. I'm from Long Island, NY. We stopped here for lunch and were very pleased with what we ordered. He had Hot Pastrami (hard to get) and I had a Cheesesteak with Pepperjack, well done onions and Peppers. The bread was fresh, the sandwich was filling, the place was clean, and the staff was friendly. It's the first time I have tasted and smelled the Italian Vinegar and Onions in the air like home. I will return. I want to try Meatball Parm, Chicken Parm, Corned Beef and Italian Subs. Half is large enough but I'll get whole so I have leftovers. Yum! read more

We're headed to the beach and hungry. Instead of finding a fast food place off the interstate, I yelped a place in the small town of Dublin, Georgia. The best cheese steak I've enjoyed other than Kappy's in Florida. Get off I-16, Brian will great you at the door and you'll have a great sub. read more

This place gets extra points for friendliness and good service. A gentleman (I assume it's the owner) greets customers and opens the door for them. This place appears to have a lot of regulars who frequent it, and it was fairly busy around noon on a Friday, but service was quick. You place your order at the counter and they build the sub for you, just like in a Subway restaurant. They have a lot of seating, with two large rooms, so it's easy to eat in the restaurant of you like. I ordered a roast beef sandwich. They have a small and large size. I got the large, which appears to be a 12 inch sub. It's really big and a good deal for $7.75. They have the typical toppings that you can have added. The bread was very fresh and good tasting. The restaurant is about three miles off the highway. I visited while I was driving from Atlanta to Savannah. Coming off the highway and taking a break midway through the trip was worth it to get a nice large sandwich. read more

Driving through and stopped by after seeing their place on yelp. There was a long line almost out to the door. It moved pretty quickly, and we got our food fast. It was a bit pricey for 4 subs, chips and drinks, but so tasty! We would definitely eat there again. read more

We walk to this place for lunch sometimes. If you are looking for great, hand made to order sandwiches, this is the place! It's no nonsense and they cut all the meat for each sandwich to order and make it all in front of you, with you choosing what you want on it. This is the BEST sandwich I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY 42 years of life! I can not come to Dublin without brining my son a sandwich!! Love it still but when Brian was there he would write Tuna on my son's #12 even though that was not what it was....loved the quick talks but knew always he remembered me even with the 1,000's they severed. Miss seeing his face but the new owner's are great as well. Recently used them for a meeting (catered) everyone bragged on the quality!! I have got to say that I just don't think you can go wrong with Brian's. I was in town for work and it was suggested to me. When I saw the line wrapped around the inside and out the door I knew it had to be good! Fresh bread and fresh premium sliced to order deli meat and cheese! First visit to Brian's, and it was fantastic! I'm in the area to work for a couple of weeks, and after reading the menu and reviews I decided to try it out. I had the #9 Super Sub because it was the daily special, and it was not only delicious, and extremely fresh, but also cheap! Double win!!! The place is completely packed at lunch, but worth the wait. Thankfully I saw that they only accept cash and checks ahead of time, so I was prepared. As far as lunch spots go in Dublin, this is my number 1 so far! Highly recommend it! read more

Brian and his crew offered a great sub and even greater stories. I am from Philadelphia and met a Yankee transplant named Brian. Sure he made me buy refills for everyone. And made me take my sandwich to go. And gave me old tea for my drink. That being said, five stars in this classic deli sub shop. I've now been to Brian's twice when I'm in the area for work after an excellent recommendation from a friend. The folks are so friendly and helpful, the food is DELICIOUS, and the prices can't be beat. A half sandwich is enough for my lunch even without the chips! I appreciate that everything is sliced fresh. Even when the line is lengthy, it doesn't take long to make it through. Cash only! I'll be back each time I'm in Dublin. read more

Brian's Giant Subs is a family-owned and operated, Jersey-style sandwich business located in Dublin, GA. The business was founded and opened as a start-up on April 25, 1989. Brian's operated under a small franchise for a couple of years, before branching off and building its own successful local brand more commonly known as, Brian's Subs.

Meet the Business Owner: Brad M.

Brad and Robyn Meeks are natives to Dublin-Laurens County. Brad is a former educator in the local school system and has a background in marketing. Robyn is currently a school counselor at Northwest Laurens Elementary School. They have 3 children, Janson, Janey, and Jarrett whom you may see working in the restaurant periodically. The Meeks family was blessed to acquire Brian's Giant Subs from Brian himself in July 2018 and plan to preserve the legacy Brian created and maintained.

I don't recommend putting any vegetables on the hot sandwiches unless it's pepper, onions, mushrooms, etc. Produce like lettuce and tomato will just become mushy and wilted. I'm new to Dublin and have been driving by " Brian's giant subs" So I was in a mood for a giant sub and decided to stop by. I paid $15 for a giant sub about the size of a small cob of corn. I was harassed by the owner when I asked for my money back he was making a big scene in the store in front of his customers finally, after minutes of arguing, he gave me my money back and told me thank you for supporting local businesses. My advice to him is he shouldn't fault advertise. It should be Brian's mini subs. You replied to this message saying that That I had no reason for wanting to return it and then later in your reply, you state the reason why I returned it because it was small and made sloppy exactly what I said and exactly what it was. Why would I want a new sub? I was extremely Overcharged for?? And I watched you throw the sub in the garbage so you're telling me you took it out of the garbage and measured it. That's real sanitary that's gonna make people want to go there. I was there looking for trouble? No I was there looking for a giant sub, which definitely is not in that facility.you should really just learn to shut your mouth and take Constructive criticism! And now the man has the nerve to go on his Facebook page and call me a troll and show pictures of a different made sub than the one he served me telling people that was the one I got this man is a complete joke this establishment is a complete joke. Anybody who goes there is doing nothing but wasting their money. I had the pleasure of visiting Brian's Subs and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making sure everyone felt at home. Even the customers standing in line were helpful and kind, creating a sense of community that you don't often find. I ordered a steak and cheese sandwich, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of amazing. The steak was tender, perfectly seasoned, and paired beautifully with the melted cheese. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the bread was fresh and perfectly toasted. It's clear that they take pride in their ingredients and preparation. Brians Giant Subs seriously has to be the best sub restaurant out there! They stand true to the name "brains GIANT subs" and that's why our family loves coming here! Great place! So worth a trip off the highway if you're traveling on I-16 or 441. Such friendly staff AND patrons.
