A family favorite! We always eat together at Brian's when we are all home for holidays or special occasions. The #10 is a town favorite and dare I say a legend. The cheesesteak is my personal favorite decked out with sautéed onions green onions cheese mayo and spicy brown mustard occasionally I'll add tomatoes as well. Brian is a gentlemen and his staff are fantastic too it's always clean and you always get a good laugh and sometimes a story too. So glad I had the $20. It's cash or check only, walking up the counter you immediately know it mostly regulars. No one is Dilly dallying around wondering what to get. If you can't decide, well it's printed in bold "Brian's special". Get it and Thank me later. The line quickly backs up to the door but don't worry Brian slices the goods with a robotic precision. Quickly slicing each piece to order and deals the slices out like you have a full house. Full you will be if get the large. Jesus this sammich is what a submarine is all about. Food is great, but Brian makes this place awesome! He slices the meats and cheeses and greets you as you come in the door. He knows his regulars by name. He is genuinely happy to be doing what he's doing. All the employees are in a great mood and have smiles on their faces; I'm sure because they work for a great guy. You'll be in a better mood leaving there just because you interacted with Brian. The prices are very reasonable, especially the daily special--when we went it was a roast beef half sub with chips and a drink for $6.50. Oh, btw, they only take cash or check so be ready for that. The place is CLEAN, the subs are simple but superb, the bread and cookies are baked in house and the roast beef and meat balls are homemade. See a combo you want but not on the menu? Ask! Part of the simple is: white or wheat bread; provolone, swiss or American cheese sliced for your sandwich. Often at lunch time the line is out the door between 12 and 1--so go early or late! Great for kids....Brian is a wonderful guy and loves to poke fun at them. If school's out, lunch is even more crowded! My favorite is the #5 (Ham, Cappacola and cheese) or Roast beef. Great food and wonderful service. We stopped by on a whim driving home from vacation and I wish we lived closer. The owner is nothing short of amazing. We watched him greet each customer, most by name and call out their "regular" order. The place was packed but you never would have known it. He made each person feel like they were the only one in line, meanwhile they cranked out subs at what looked like competition speed. I only get to Brian's once or twice a year and that's when my wife and I are in Dublin visiting my parents. I am not a regular but my parents are -they go to Brian's several times a week (if we lived in Dublin, we would be regulars!). This past weekend, I stopped in to get a gift certificate for my parents. As Brian walked up, I said, you probably don't recognize me without my parents and before I could say anything else, he said "Hello David" and we chatted for a bit.
