I have to take the time to recognize a great business right up the road from my job. A few people and I from my office ordered a few breakfast sandwiches and Hash browns but when we picked them up and got to the office the hashbrowns weren't in the bag. I called and said we can't drive back as we are at work and the first guy said they can't bring them to us because they are really busy and another man took the phone from him and said he will be right over to deliver the hashbrowns... not only did he deliver within 10 minutes, he delivered HUGE beautiful muffins for the inconvenience. Nice people... but this place fell off hard. I came in on a Saturday to pick up some bagels and when I got there options were limited which is fine it was late morning. I picked up some plain, an onion, and pumpernickel. They were anemic looking, flat, and rock hard. When I arrived home, and to my disappointment, one of the plain bagels appeared to have mold on it so we can't eat even try them - but they are flat and rock hard - see photos included. read more

I've been to this place a few times and they have really good bagels here. Because their bagels are so good, they run out very quickly. They do make fresh bagels and you may have to wait a little bit. The people here are very courteous each time. I love their cheddar bagels, as well as their salt bagels. Under new management this place is definitely worth revisiting. Their bagels are outstanding. They also have lots of nice spreads and some really nice looking cake slices etc. The new owner is super helpful and friendly. Went early Saturday to get 2 dozen bagels for a small get together after my mother's funeral. The owner could not have been nicer. My wife and I had heard good things about this bagel shop and we live nearby, so we were excited to check it out. Unfortunately, as soon as we walked in the door the cashier complained to us that her grill was closed and she could not serve us...we rolled in at noon...a full HOUR before they close. I can understand wanting to close early on a slow Sunday morning, but when a family with a baby and a young kid rolls in, I feel it's pretty rude to turn them away when you're open. She yelled at me for signing the receipt on the counter and not on the piece of carton that she gave me. Don't ever raise your voice at customers. Like it or not, we are the reason why you have a job there. If there are no customers, there is no business.. If there's no business, there's no employees. Yes, bad days happen but you put your personal sh*t aside when your at a workplace.. and that's Coming from someone who's worked directly with people all their life. hands down the closest bagel shop I have found nearby....bagels sandwiches are cooked right up front and the service is the best. After three years I finally found this place and now make a stop at least once a week...the bagels are fresh, sandwiches can be individualized and the owners are very nice and greet me each time I stop by to see her. Actually this is why I keep coming back! just goes to show customer service is priority.... Now the sandwiches get a salute! I try to get the Classic - which you will just have to stop in to taste at least once, but the classic on a wedge with lettuce tomato and bacon is exactly what you need.
