I was so worried about the mess and the stress of a big project, but they made the whole process so easy. The crew was incredibly polite, they showed up right on time every single day, and they cleaned up after themselves beautifully when they were finished. You can really tell they take pride in their work because the wall looks so sturdy and gorgeous. It gives me such peace of mind knowing it was done right. If you need any work done, do yourself a favor and call them. They are just wonderful!

Our experience with DiBara Masonry was extremely disappointing…read more We initially met with Matt to review the plans for our project. He was knowledgeable, professional, and conveyed significant industry experience. We were then introduced to the sales team, who described the project as straightforward and estimated that the work could be completed within 6-8 weeks based on plans that had already been approved by the city. Instead, the project extended to approximately seven months and was marked by persistent communication issues, poor coordination among team members, inadequate project management, and a lack of consistent oversight. After the contract was signed, both Matt and our sales representative became largely unavailable. We were assigned a project manager who was unfamiliar with the approved plans and frequently required clarification on basic project details. When we raised concerns with our sales representative, we were told that project-related issues were outside his responsibility, and we were not directed to anyone else who could effectively address them. Partway through the project, the company hired a new Director of Operations who assured us that existing issues would be resolved and the project would be brought back on track. Unfortunately, communication remained inconsistent, calls and messages often went unanswered, and there were periods of multiple weeks when no work was performed on site. A significant issue throughout the project was the apparent lack of communication between departments. Sales, project managers, foremen, office staff, and accounting frequently appeared to be operating independently, resulting in repeated miscommunications, conflicting information, and a constant stream of redundant calls, texts, and emails. As a customer, it often felt as though we were responsible for relaying information between members of their own team. One (of many) examples: we scheduled a walk through prior to making our final payment. A week later the accounting team threatened to put a mechanic's lien on our house because we hadn't paid yet. Apparently no one was talking to each other within their office. The company also relied on a long succession of subcontractors. In our experience, many arrived on site without a clear understanding of the scope of work and without access to the approved plans. This led to confusion, delays, and avoidable mistakes. Most concerning were incidents that appeared to result directly from lack of oversight. Work performed by the team caused significant damage to our sewer line. On another occasion, concrete was scheduled to be poured over exposed electrical lines that had not yet been reconnected, a situation that could have created serious complications had it not been identified beforehand. We made several attempts to speak directly with Matt regarding our concerns about project quality, management, and coordination. However, we were repeatedly told that he was unavailable or booked weeks in advance, and we were never able to have a meaningful discussion about the issues affecting our project. Based on our experience, the company presented a far different level of organization and oversight during the sales process than what was ultimately delivered once construction began.

Their communication and flexibility on projects is something not all contractors are good at but these two individuals are down to earth, trustworthy and have a creative way of helping with options and suggestions relative to design. My wife and I had 4 bids for a total remodel on our home which included the two bathrooms, a new laundry room, the kitchen, the fireplace, the walk in closet, all new doors, recessed lighting and exhaust fans as well as an epoxy finish on the garage floor with new drywall and complete interior paint. The home was transformed into a masterpiece. They were not the lowest bid but their ability to perform all of the work with no subcontractors and their very upfront and transparent approach and proposal of line items as well as the comfort level of working with such a wonderful team made our choice easy. A&G Remodeling and Repairs Jose Miranda does excellent work and is honest, professional, reliable, trustworthy and reasonable. Their work is phenomenal and of great quality. They are licensed and bonded and skilled in all trades. We highly recommend them and they travel all over LA County, Ventura County, Riverside County and Orange County. I highly recommend A&G Remodeling and Repairs for both small handyman jobs and complete remodels.

They added few rows without paying attention to detail of adding sufficient concrete between them. My mom had to tell the workers to fill in the gaps. Then we had to tell them to fill in the gaps on our neighbor side because we share a wall. They did lazy work. Those areas were not filled at the joints. Needless to say, years later, today I am having issues with the wall. Because of the size block they used, my wall is now leaning and starting to buckle out. The new contractor I hired said this new block that was added is not up to code and it is the incorrect type/size. They should have never used it. Contractor also said many blocks are not set correctly because the joints were not properly adhered together with enough concrete between them. I was charged $1300 to add these 2-3 rows of blocks. And this was at least 7-8 years ago. I feel like I was ripped off. Now I have to tear the wall down and do it all over again because it has leaned to far it can't be repaired. It has to be replaced. Very upsetting especially because I wanted to hire a small local business. I want to support my community. It feels like they took advantage of our lack of knowledge behind wall building and codes. That's prob the worst part.

We found Alfredo on Yelp after obtaining multiple price quotes and could not be happier with the entire collaboration process. He understood what we were trying to do and was able to execute what we wanted after just giving him a few Pinterest pictures. He was amazing to work with, checking in with us every day and offering up suggestions along the way without being pushy. Renovation inevitably comes with unexpected turns, but his team was able to help us reasonably navigate rerouting water and gas line, working around sprinklers and adding electrical. We tore out our crumbling concrete driveway, expanded over parts of the lawn, and added pavers from the driveway to the backyard. Luxury Pavers built us a custom bench, seating area, privacy wall, added posts for shades and brought in new turf. We could not be happier with the final product and are excited to spend our Summer in the yard.

And he truly did. As a perfectionist and handyman myself, I can tell when something is done well and according to plan, and Alfredo consistently met my expectations in a friendly manner. Not to mention, my wife approved of and liked the job he did. He is highly skilled in his work. His crew is equally friendly and dedicated, always taking pride in the quality of their work. From the very beginning, working with him was a breeze, and his quote was more competitive than those from other contractors. I developed a good rapport with him and often reached out for technical questions and referrals. It's worth noting that both my wife and I appreciate the work he did, which is even more important than what I have already mentioned. Alfredo's project involved installing pavers in my front yard, and he expertly followed the blueprints I provided. Now, I am focused on completing the fountain and landscaping in the planters as outlined in the plan. I highly recommend his services and commend his leadership. Although I haven't had the chance to meet his wife, who is also a vital part of the company, I appreciate her contributions as well. Thank you Alfredo, sorry Mr. don't worry
