My daughter and I went here for the first time recently. It was intended to be a mini celebration because it was her last day of school. We arrived around 4:30pm, we had to park on the street, but there were several spots available. The restaurant is small with a casual interior. We were greeted and seated immediately. The food was good with hearty portions, but our waitress rushed us the entire time. We said we needed a few minutes, because this was our first time here, so she stood there and just... waited. She didn't offer to make any suggestions or ask whether we had any questions, she was just standing inches from the table looking at us. Finally I had to say, "oh, you don't have to wait right here, it'll be at least 5 minutes." Then she left. We ordered an appetizer, two entrees, two non-alcoholic drinks, and two desserts. She never asked whether we wanted dessert, and reached to present the bill while asking if we needed any takeout boxes. I had to interject and ask if we could see a menu for dessert options. The check was placed on our table before dessert arrived, which has never happened to us before at any restaurant we've ever been to. Then, when the desserts were brought to the table, she grabbed the bill presenter and said, "are we good?" I replied, "no, I'll pay when we're done eating." It was odd because we went very early and there were only a few other tables occupied so, I had no idea why we were being rushed the entire time. They also brought my daughter's entree with the wrong side, but they fixed it right away with no fuss. I left a generous tip and didn't report our experience. She was never outright rude to us, but rushing guests at every interaction is uncomfortable and made us feel unwelcome. Overall, this place is good, but if I ever go back, I would insist on a different waitress. read more

We didn't, but somehow got lucky snagging seats at the bar... which honestly turned out to be a perfect spot to eat too! The beet salad was SO good I could've easily ordered a second without hesitation. I had a self-proclaimed Reuben connoisseur with me, and he declared it the best Reuben he's ever had (second only to his own, of course ). It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! Our server was the best part of our night. Very kind and very efficient. Thank you Kate (i believe her name was). Loved reminiscing about CV. Our first time here and we loved the room upstairs. Very cozy and intimate. Hardly anyone was there at 7:00 pm on a weekday. Everything went well except the food took forever to arrive. We waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and we couldn't understand because there was hardly anyone in the dining room. (Two other tables and one group had already eaten.) The hamburger was fine when we finally got it. The homemade pickles were the best. My husband loved the salsa. One thing I wish we were told is that there is a surcharge to use a credit card and there was a charge for the salsa. Both those things were a surprise. I love how this place has history. The grandmother owned the Ritz Hotel in Bridgeville and her 7 Up sign from the hotel graces the walls. All the old black and white Heidelberg photos are fun to see. I had high expectations before we went there, as I was checking out the menu and couldn't decide what I wanted... there were too many options that sounded good! I ended up going with their daily special, which was a chicken sandwich with French onion dip on top, and my husband ordered the Flankenstein. Both were served with torts (delicious, fried tortillas was a yummy seasoning on top). Our meals arrived quickly and were piping hot. Everything tasted so fresh, and the flavors/toppings of our sandwiches worked so well together. Both were 10/10! We loved the torts, too! You can tell that every single things is homemade! Really small inside so I recommend making a reservation if you go on a weekend. We did not have a reservation, but we went pretty early on a Saturday evening and only had to wait a few mins. I will say, the pizza was alright, but not really my style. The sauce was very rich and I wish the crust was a bit crispier. However, everything else was really good. Fried pickles and Cuban sandwich were both a solid 5 stars. I was so excited to try B&M tonight to celebrate my birthday... I have heard from others that the food was really good. It's street parking - so got lucky getting a spot right out front. We got seated right away - they did offer patio seating but it was a chilly night so we sat inside and upstairs Our waitress was very nice - got us water - drink orders and food all came relatively quickly. The food - delectable! I had the Hey Dude and it did not disappoint! One person in our party got the mushroom soup ... and really liked that! I agree with the other 4 and 5 star ratings. They have a tiny but very nice back deck available and the food is outstanding. Hosts, wait staff, and even the chef were inviting without being "up in your face" happy. Top it off with a beer menu that's small but features several solid craft brew selections, and it was a great experience all the way around. For sure I'd go half an hour out of my way just to eat here again. My friend told me about this place so I decided to order takeout one evening. Online ordering was simple and my order was to be ready about 20 min after ordering. I came here for dinner on a Friday night (highly recommend reservations) and it was quite busy. After being seated I got the buffalo blue cheeseburger ($17) and Funion($18) pizza. The burger was cooked to a perfect pink and had blue cheese, bacon, onions. It tasted quite good, however inside of the beef patty was unfortunately a piece of bone that was grounded into it. Besides that the burger was quite flavorful. The funion pizza had garlic spread, marsala mushrooms, fresh onions, caramelized onions, BBQ sauce, pickled onions, scallions. I enjoyed the pizza especially the onions and garlic. The crust was also quite good coming from a person that doesn't typically enjoy crust. Staff was nice, however they did forget to give us utensils. There is a 3% credit charge which caused me to pay with cash instead. We were looking for a place to eat after visiting someone in the hospital nearby.Without knowing the area as we live over 2 hrs away, we stopped in to this place. We loved the decor and the oldies being played, the friendliness of our waitress Kayleigh, and the mouthwatering menu. This place doesn't look like much from the outside, but once you step inside it's a whole different story. The decor is nicely done with impressive light fixtures and lovely plants. There's a bar area as well as a full dining room with plenty of tables. We were greeted and seated right away. The menu had a nice selection. Some places just put a few beets in but this place puts more than enough of everything in it. It's a big and filling salad. I order nothing else with it because it's so filling. It arrived hot, fresh and nicely crispy. The fish was cooked perfectly, not overdone but not underdone, perfectly flaky. The portion was massive. You could've made two sandwiches out of the single fillet that I got but I was not complaining as it was so good with malt vinegar and some tartar sauce. It was perfect. The "torts"were a lovely surprise, especially with the salsa. Crispy, light, sweet with some heat to them and not too greasy they are worth a try. The Apple Berry dessert was fantastic. They didn't give me many chips, I definitely would have liked a few more to fill up the meal. What a surprise! We were hungry on our way coming down 79 and decided to take a risk and pull off the Carnegie exit only to find this wonderful restaurant. Very unique offerings of sandwiches and salads. I had the Rastifari which is jerk chicken with a mango corn salsa on it and my wife had a salad happy hippie. Food is absolutely fantastic. Something no one else is offering it looked good and it tasted even better. They were very attentive with their service. The wait staff couldn't wait on us enough. They were always there on services with a smile. I got to feel that it was a family oriented. Restaurant is the clientele for families and groups. It's by no means a big place, but we sat outside and even in the heat it was comfortable on my next drive home from the airport. This will be a place i will stop and to come and try some unique things.
