This is a cute little shop that I recommend 100%. It is packed w/ all types of bikes & merch to suit your needs. I can tell Willy is a genuinely nice & helpful person by nature who has a true passion for this stuff. He helped me one day that I was pretty much stranded w/ a damaged pedal on my way home & fixed it for me w/ no problem whatsoever. He also gave me advice on what I needed to do next & even followed up w/ me the next day to see how my bike had been holding up. The owner & the other bike mechanic also seem like very nice people; overall, very down to earth, respectful, & professional. Good prices & efficient too! Can't beat that! I can honestly say that whenever I'm in the Brickell area & need anything for my bike, this will be my go-to shop & so should you. This bike shop is riddled with stingy mechanics -- I gave them my trust, but what they ended up doing was conning the wrong guy. It's been a few months, but I finally found some time to let off some steam. Here's the story: I have an electric bike that needed a rear tire replacement (which they absurdly overcharged me -- another story). The day that I dropped my bike off, the mechanic had a look on his face as if my bike was 'too much of a burden'. I get it - there's bikes ahead, you're trying your best to fix in a queue, but he had such bad vibes and a look of disgust. I'm assuming he felt I was trying to rush him. Biggest mistake on my end was feeling charitable enough to pre-tip the guy because I felt bad for him and I hope he'd put a decent effort to take care of my bike. Boy, was I wrong. Anyway, the next day I picked up my bike (I had to call by the way - they didn't even bother to call me), and all seemed well until the very next day I noticed the power randomly 'shut off'. Being new to electric bikes I didn't get what was happening, until I was able to notice the rear tire screws were loose and improperly placed. Imagine that -- you're kind, pre-tip the mechanic, and you're still treated like dog 'ish. I couldn't possibly come to terms that, "it was a simple mistake". I ended up having to walk my bike 30 minutes to the shop. When I got there, same attitude from the mechanics as if 'it was my fault' or 'you're too much of a burden, GTFOH!' -- that kind of vibe. I was so livid. The owner seemed nice, but he didn't even have the nerve to apologize -- the mechanic walked towards the back to hide. I can only assume had I came in with a $10,000 Pinnarello things probably would have been different. Biggest learning curve here: If you have an electric bike, please drill into your mechanics heads to leave the screws on properly so as to not potentially damage any components. A lot of times they'll rush through the job, or if they want you to spend $$$, they'll purposely loosen screws to get more out of your pocket. One of the worst service experiences I've had in Miami, bar none! read more

So now I have $50 in credit at a super niche store that only sells one cover that doesn't work for me. Neat. I came back here for a brake adjustment after the young woman at the shop helped me put air into my back tire and told me that my brakes were not on correctly. I asked how much was a brake adjustment and she told me $15. I was surprised afterwards when she rung me up for $36, which included the brake adjustment, a brake cable, a stocking fee of $5, and new brake shoes. I don't mind paying more, but I wish that they had told me that I needed a new brake cable and shoes. I was standing right there at the counter while the guy did the work in front of me. I was going to go back for a full tune-up on my bike, but because I felt as if I was given the bait and switch, I won't be back. read more

Great service. Went in after my second flat in two days. They pointed out that my tire was shot and recommended a replacement. They did the repair right away. I have rented from there for my first Triathlon a Fuji they didn't great during the race, and actually bought a bike there as well. The guy working was very knowledgable and set me up with a bike that fit my price range. He set up my odometer, lights and threw in a few small things for free. He spoke very highly of the new owner and I look forward to dealing with them for my free tune ups. Don't spend your hard earned dollars at this store. Poor customer service and lack of honesty to properly repair even a flat tire. In my case they for a flat tire they used the wrong inner tube, they installed one too small, so when inflated it split. The repair didn't last even for me to get home riding. Oh and surprise, they were close the next day when I went to complaint. read more

They were quick to address me but were attentive to their other customers as well. They were engaging and let me play with the store puppy. They even fixed my tire for free! Rented a Breezer electric bike. Having never used an electric bike I trusted it was working and headed to Key Biscayne. Should have seen the red flag when they told me the men's versions were all out of commission and I would be renting the women's. The speed sensor quickly became misaligned and I got no metrics on the speedo. The motor would only kick in when you started pedaling then it would cut out. I returned my 9 hour rental after 3 hours and pointed out the problems. Was told it was just the sensor magnet that I should have realigned. Huh? I said that the motor wasn't kicking in and after 3 hours and 20 miles the battery still showed 98%. Mechanic said 'No, it worked fine'. Huh? Mechanic then said 'If I want I can just return the bike and go it's all good'. Huh? I'm 3 hours into my 9 hour rental and neither the speedo nor the motor is working. Dude just didn't get it or didn't want to get it. Whatever. I just left. Don't say you haven't been warned. read more

I've heard of them for quite some time and it was time to try them out. My rear wheel was giving me issues and í was told that Robbie (the owner) can help me out. I've met the other 2 (Will and Pablo) in other rides and social events but never really spent time at the shop. Long story short, í was very well taken care of and aside from fixing my bike, the hospitality and ambiance of the shop is rare to see, compared to other shops. All in all, very good bike shop. From knowledge to assistance of parts and bikes, to simply treating every customer with the same respect and gratitude,these guys run a bike shop really well in my opinion. My sister and I were planning on going on a bike ride yesterday when we realized she unfortunately had a flat tire. We were pretty upset thinking our ride would be canceled.. but i decided to google bike shops just in case and Brickell Bikes was the first one to pop up. I called and asked if it would take long to fix it and a friendly man answered and said they could fix it right away for a reasonable price. We pulled up to the shop and as i was walking the bike inside a woman that worked there was outside and asked if i needed assistance.
