All I wanted was to have a dress ironed for a party on Friday. The place I ended up using had it done by Wednesday while Brickell cleaners claimed that they could not have it done before Friday. I've been coming here for years. They do a very good job with your basic dry cleaning and wardrobe adjustments you may need. My only comment is that if you need to have anything adjusted- make sure to take it with at least 4 weeks before the event. Though their service is good, they do take a long time to make the adjustment because they have to send it to another location for the actual work. I had never done dry cleaning before and Brickell Cleaners is where I decided to make my move. The lady at the desk greeted me and quickly set me up with an account linked to my phone number. I gave her my suit and in return received a ticket for my items. My suit would be ready in three days, she said. Five days later I returned, nervous that my suit would somehow be different than when I left it, that its magical professionalism powers would be washed away. I was there yesterday and they told me that my clothes disappeared.... the owner was there, he apologized and asked me to come back after my trip (in 10 days), and if they are still missing he's supposedly paying for the missing items. I really hate to give them a bad rating after meeting the owner and how he's a nice guy, but the product provided here is really sub-par. I also really wanted to like this place, seeing as how its right at the end of my street and SUPER convenient. Multiple times I've been disappointed to find something wrong with either them stapling the freekin "cleaned" tags to my shirts - even after me explicitly telling them "DONT EFFING DO THAT", they refuse. I've had them try and remove stains that other cleaners were able to but they were not. Also, they've lost buttons for a few shirts or even worse, made a brand new stain on one of my Hugo Boss shirts which really pissed me off... they offered a compensation that I accepted but still, I would have had my shirt not messed up. read more

I dropped my clothing off early December. I visited the store to pickup my clothing on the pickup date and my clothes were not ready. I returned the following week for my clothes, and they were damaged. My black cashmere sweater has pulls all over it now and the fabric feels like a fluffy cheaper fabric. My dress had some sort of yellow orange stain. The cleaners said to leave my clothes and they would have them fixed. I returned 2 weeks later (now a month since the drop off) and now all three pieces have some kind of damage. The blouse I left had stretching/fabric pulls all the way across the back of the blouse. I walked away today with still no resolution, and I still don't have my clothes. I moved from NYC. All of these pieces had been cleaned multiple times in the city. If you want to save yourself the pain I've been through, DO NOT GO HERE. The only grace of the place is Lola who tries to find a solution but the owner is unresponsive. I'm still hoping for a resolution and to get my clothes. In all, I'll have lost over $700 worth of clothing as a result of this assuming I don't get charged for the service. 1 week later: I have returned for my clothes and they are no longer here. I came to Brickell cleaners three times and the first two times were fine - everything was completed to a good standard and it was all there. The staff are also friendly and helpful. That's what the two stars are for. I can't give any more because they lost a shirt I loved. I was told to come back two days later (would be Thursday) and collect my cleaning (I had about 7/8 items). I went on Friday and they told me one item was not ready. Went back on Monday and they told me they couldn't match the description to anything they had but after chasing they said one that matched it was in their other store. When I went back for it the next day, it wasn't my shirt and it was clear my MK one had been given to someone else and I was left with a less than desirable version. I was given a check to replace it after I gave the receipt (it was brand new) but it's just not acceptable - especially because I had given this as part of a bigger bundle and everything else came back fine. Have used their dry cleaning service about 10 times and have never had a problem. Their prices are expensive but after comparing them to all the other dry cleaners in the Downtown/Brickell area, they are about the same price, plus or minus $1. We use their complimentary pick up and drop off service. We live in Brickell and simply leave our laundry bag with the front desk. The laundry bag has our name and contact information on it so they know it is us when they pick it up and automatically deduct it from our credit card. The only downsides is that they only pick up or drop off on weekdays but if you need something sooner, you could always pick it up over the weekend instead. For tailoring, I go to a tailor. Getting what you pay for is a no-brainer, and what you pay for here is a quick, simple, and easy clean for your daily wear. This Cleaners is next to the SW 13th Street Publix and delivers to many Buildings in the area. Unfortunately, mine is off the list because of some dispute. The first time I tried them out, I had very good results. The second time, I went to pickup my shirts and they said they were not ready, only the pants. Several days later I returned, they could find only one of the the shirts, the others were sent to their Downtown location. The friendly worker apologized, said she would have them delivered and would call me. I never received a call, but by the time I arrived home that evening, my shirts were there. read more

I should have listened to the bad reviews this place has gotten but against my best judgement I decided to give this place a try and took several dress shirts and pants. The dry clean shirts did not smell clean and they used small hangers which made creases on the shirts from just hanging. I told the lady I did not want any creases on my pants but guess what, all of my pants had very hard pressed creases on them. It was my first (and ONLY) time going there, and one of my favorite and expensive dresses was ruined, and they didn't even want to tell me. Not only did they shrink my dress, they managed to rip the front, and put a "spot found here" sticker on it. I took a very nice quilt there and it was not there at time of pick up. I had to wait 1 1/2 hrs for them to bring it from another location. Went for the first and last time. This was the worst dry-cleaning job ever. I asked for very little starch and My shirts came back as cardboard (the shirts could literally stand up on their own) and the color was faded on all of my Polo shirts. I have dry cleaned my clothes many times and never got them back miscolored. My white shirts came back with brown stains that they didn't have going in. The worst dry cleaner in Miami! Multiple bad experiences. The worst was bringing them a Gucci dress. I let them know in advance that it was a special cleaning and to be gently treated. They said it was no problem and that they could do it. They took no notice, did it the regular way and made a hole in the 1200$ dress!!!! I asked to speak to the manager and phoned multiple times to reach him but he kept dodging my calls. The manager would not even phone me back and address the issue, even though he should have at least apologized for the inconvenience. They reluctantly gave me a refund. Worse service ever!!! They do not know how to treat their customers, nor dry clean the clothes. Often times, when you receive the clothes back, they are poorly cleaned and stains are still there. First off, I dropped of a work dress and a pair of pants on Wednesday, I was told that I would have to wait until the following Monday for them to be delivered. Also, there is a language barrier for any English speaking folks as the front staff only speaks Spanish. I decided to pick up the clothes on Friday rather than wait the three extra days for them to be delivered and they still smelled dirty. I doubt they were dry cleaned, just ironed. I don't understand how these people don't go out of business. I have lost count of how many items these people have ruined. The only reason I go back is because I keep forgetting how bad they are. So I will have a bad experience, then a few months later I'll need something either cleaned or hemmed and I think, ok, this place is right by my house. And then, when I pick up the crap job they do, the memories all come rushing back. This week, I dropped off two jackets for alterations and one suit to get cleaned. The value of these items is in excess of $1,500. The suit came back so badly pressed with SEVERAL lines and folds that should not have been there that I can't believe someone actually looked at this and said, yeah, this is ok to give it back to the customer like this. One of the jackets only needed the sleeve to be made a bit longer. She did a decent job with that but left a crease that I had asked her to please make sure to remove. The other sports jacket was a disaster. She altered the length but it was completely uneven. When I tried it on, the bottom of the jacket flaired out like a skirt. I called for the owner and he couldn't take my call so I left a message, then spoke to the seamstress. She said that she would fix it if I go back on Saturday to try it on. That will be the last time I go. The fact is, however, that I deserve this. I have had so many bad experiences here and I keep coming back for more.
