-Unreliable -Unpleasant customer service -Low quality work -The owner's responses to the Yelp reviews are very off putting. I've used this place for alterations maybe 2-3 times. Even after reading some reviews, I gave this place a chance. I have gotten jeans taken in and one dress taken in at the armpit area. They do a decent job. The prices are about $25-$30 for a job, doesn't matter the item. The last time picking up an item I had taken in, will be the last time I go here. It was a brand new skirt, never worn. And when I picked it up after having it taken in it had a large stain on the front plus two smaller spots of dirt and liquid. The item was also extremely wrinkled so it didn't seem to have been steamed or ironed. If they looked at the care tag they would see no iron should be used on this type of fabric. I politely showed the woman the stains and asked if I could have half refund back. She said no, it didn't happen here, we only tailored the item. I said, this was brand new and never worn, with no stains when I dropped it off. I showed her three stains. It is unwearable now. She shrugged and continued to say no. I asked again "please could you refund me for half" She told me that the manager wasn't here. I asked for the managers name and number and she did not know the name, and gave me the number of the place. I told her that everytime I have called or stepped inside i have only seen or spoken to her. Finally I left my phone number with her to have the manager call me. Hopefully they make it right. Terrible service. I requested a service in a pair of pants, they asked me for a week to be ready. I ended up waiting 2 weeks and when I received the pants it still has the same problem I asked to sew. I don't understand what kind of service is this. I do not recommend..... REPLY: if you don't remember this is my return. I went to complain twice about the service and my pants came back with the same problem. I never asked for a discount for the service. I don't care if was $10 or $15. I paid for the service to reinforce the seam since my first order and would like the pants fixed. That's it! read more

Terrible terrible! They don't speak barely a word of English they don't measure accurately for tailor services, the women left running the shop have no idea of customer service. They charged me for cleaning a jacket that had some make up on it, they couldn't get the make up off and refused a refund. They said NO REFUNDs POLICY * they really don't care if you come back or not they said it to me. And I witnessed another customer asking why they didn't follow her instructions on s pair of jeans. I haven't even gotten my clothes yet but I can only imagine from the customer service what to expect. First you pay for everything upfront, dry cleaning and tailoring. #puttingthecustomersfirst. You get there and it's very difficult to communicate with the person. To my understanding only the manager speaks English and they never work mornings. I'm patient and English wasn't my first language either but when I try my best Pictionary, give them the pick up number, first and last name and number, and I just get a shoulder shrug and "wait for the manager" because the front desk cannot understand me it's a bit off putting. Ones experience at the cleaner should not exceed 10min for a drop off and pick up, especially in an empty store. I was there for 20min. I support all businesses large or small but when I get attitude from the front desk because they can't understand me but expect me to pay upfront for clothes but cannot find the last order that's a red flag. #nopersonaltouch read more

I didn't and haven't used the services here, but I have to share this story because it shows the character and essence of the owner; Howard. I was looking to break a $20 to give a few dollars to the valet. A handsome guy sporting a super cool outfit, tattoos, whitish hair and a big smile opened the register and said he didn't have any small bills. I made a sad face and said I feel terrible I won't be able to give the valet anything. He joked that I looked rich and why I don't just give him a &20? I said, no way. He asked me how much I was planning on giving him. I said $2 or $3 dollars. He immediately pulled a $1 bill, handed it to me and said to give it to the valet. I was absolutely floored by his kindness and generosity and said no a couple times, but he insisted. It's at that point I thanked him, shook his hand and found out he was the owner. This just shows what an outstanding and generous man Howard is. If I lived here (I'm from NYC), I'd use his services just because of this. This show of character and kindness, I'm sure, shows up everywhere in his business from customer service, to quality services to pricing. And this is one of the reasons I loved Miami and still miss it. Howard is awesome! read more

I'm surprised that this business is still up-and-running with the mediocre, unprofessional and disrespectful person that is its "owner". I was insulted over the phone and hung up on because I called to check the status of a drop-off. It was after Labor Day weekend, and the owner Howard picked up the phone and said "We're super busy right now we can't tell you" and after I said that I was told it was going to be ready on the Tuesday after Labor Day and that's why I was calling he proceeded to tell me that he "couldn't talk right now -- super slammed. just come pick up your stuff." and hung on me. I called back to tell him I don't appreciate the lack of professionalism and being hung up on and he continued to get loud with me and argue back-and-forth with me. Then he tells me "I was actually gonna call you this morning and tell you there was an error in the pricing and you owe an additional $25 because my employee charged you a ridiculous price." You don't punish a customer for the mistake of your employee. Second of all, they already have a "pay up-front" policy where you pay the entire cost of your dry cleaning at drop-off - which is fine except you aren't entitled to just charge an extra fee at your convenience afterward. He said "If you aren't going to pay the extra fee that you owe, then we will not be doing business with you again." Extremely rude, immature and unprofessional -- will NOT use again and I recommend that anyone in Edgewater area do not use his services. This man has made a huge mistake because I was using him for the company I work for and we were hoping to find a reliable dry cleaners to use on a weekly basis. Loss of business for him. read more

Will not use them again. I was in a hurry for a series of formal events and used them instead of the place I normally use. They stained the interior of a brand new Italian blazer - had literally just taken off the tags. Would not recommend if you are careful about your clothes. read more
