Asked well done, got this floppy cheesy mess. No sauce except on the very outer edge. Just mozzarella on undercooked dough. Shout-out to Brickfire Pizza in Newton! Excellent pizza and Greek salad (two items we constantly search for...so we have much to compare these to). The pizza crust is among the best in the area...with tasty sauce and cheese. I generally do not like reheated pizza but this pizza miraculously reheats very well (we use the low and slow pan-heat method). Now the salad. I have searched for a wonderful Greek salad every since Peter's in Waltham closed. Most dressings taste as if from a bottle or are too vinegary. Brickfire's is definitely not from a bottle...it is delicious! Further, they give a generous helping (think 2-3 Sweetgreen portions) on top of a generous bed of cheese, olives, lettuce and more. Bonus: We are always greeted with a smile. The business shows it cares about the customer experience. I really want this business to do well so that we can continue going in the years to come. We've gone the past three weeks and it does not appear to be busy, at least not at 7:30PM. It seems to be a hidden gem (but not far from Route 9, 128 intersection). Ordered and paid at the counter. 7 minutes later a piping hot pizza was delivered to my table. Overall the pizza was good. Super thin crust. But the crust had substance - you could pick up a slice without worrying about getting a lap full of cheese. My only beef was price. $9.50 for a small 12" pie. With tax over $10. Plain cheese. Great delivery experience! Got my pizza in about 20 minutes and it was nice and hot. I had the buffalo chicken and the flavor was great. It had a lot of chicken and a nice drizzle of ranch. The crust is thin on the bottom and it's got a nice chewiness to it. I also got a salad which was just ok. It was iceberg lettuce which I knew when I ordered it, and I had Gorgonzola added which they did generously. The salad also came with pita bread but I didn't try it.
