I've gone to this location multiple times since it's close to my climbing gym. It's got a really cool concept with a converted gas station feel, a great place to hang out with friends or do work. The coffee itself is good, pretty consistent. I do come here for their matcha as well and their seasonal drinks. The food option is also generally good (I'm on that avo toast hyperfixation). This is another favorite coffee shop for my husband and I. We come here on the weekends for a quick coffee. The inside is very chill and open with lots of seating. They have daily coffee that is always good and I enjoy their lattes with added flavors. My favorite is a lavender and honey latte hot with almond milk. This place has a GREAT cappuccino. For me, ordering a classic, unsweetened coffee drink or even black drip/pour over is a true tell of a proper brew. They didn't disappoint. Others in our party seemed to enjoy their teas and cold brew. We all got breakfast... burrito, scone, English muffin sandwich, and the infamous everything sandwich. (Loaded with over medium egg, bacon, smear) also love they make their own syrups It was hot the day we went ...prob the only downside. Heard another customer say it was cooler outside than in. I have visited this coffee shop several times and that's saying a lot especially since I don't normally drink coffee. LOL! I don't mind a nice sweet flavored cappuccino or latte and I really love a nice London Fog and Matcha Latte, all of which are done right here. I've had several different breakfast options and have enjoyed them all although they do have a problem overcooking their eggs. If you ever get a chance to try their zucchini bread when available, don't pass it up! They have a self service refrigerator to purchase bone broth and different juices, such as green juice that are great options, but on the expensive side. Service is adequate here. Outdoor seating is nice and the interior seating is plentiful. It's nice to see students sitting here having a coffee and doing homework. Nice hang out place and also great for solo diners. While on a business trip to St Louis, I looked for places serving açaí bowls. This is one of the few places that came up, so I checked it out. Ordered: Açaí bowl with peanut butter, drip, and golden milk. Açaí bowl was fine. They made it for dine in, I needed it to go - so the end result was not aesthetically pleasing. No fault of the preparer, I think the cashier was new. Missed my drip coffee order, it was good coffee. For those who take no sugar or cream - the coffee needs to stand on its own! While I was attending Lindenwood, pre Streets of St. Charles day, I wished there was another coffee shop in the area. Well, it's been several years after graduating, but I still got it! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that Upshot Coffee revived the old Brake Shop and a part of the St. Charles community! While finding parking can be a little tricky, it's well worth the walk! The coffee is always great, even though I rarely venture off of my regular brown sugar latte. However, on the days I do, the staff is super great in offering suggestions, and they've never steered me wrong. This last time, they recommended the Sweet Green juice which was actually pretty good. When I saw this place going in I was super excited because that old brake shop was such a neat building. Now that it's complete my excitement was totally justified. Not only is the building and remodel done top notch but the food & coffee is absolutely fantastic. We ordered a cold brew, drip coffee, Chorizo Tacos and B's & G's. All around everything was wonderful. Cold brew was really strong but smooth and drip coffee was just as you'd expect. When it came to food I was super impressed as soon as I popped open the to-go boxes. The tacos were LOADED with toppings and stuffed full of chorizo and holy cow were the B's & G's a sloppy mess (in the best way possible). The added flair of the BBQ flavor on the biscuits was the icing on the cake. Their food is much more geared towards brunch as it's savory instead of sweet but that didn't phase us one bit. Came in the day before Thanksgiving and it was quite busy. Two people behind the counter, one taking orders and another making drinks. We probably waited for about 30 min total. They were quite apologetic for the wait and the drinks were good, but why not just schedule another person to work during peak times? Hot tea for me rather than coffee, but it was brewed up fresh and nice 'n smooth. My signature breakfast burrito was pretty good too. The candied bacon gave a nice savory sweetness, and the chorizo flavor came through all the other ingredients. This may sound odd, but the chorizo had enough moist/greasiness to give it that flavor burst. I've been to too many places where the chorizo is dry and just doesn't put out flavor. One of my tablemates ordered a filet steak & egg sammy. He said it was possibly the best sandwich he'd ever had. So I had to order one, to go. After I got home, I had it as part of my lunch. It was quite simply, excellent. Biscuit was buttery and moist, big ole piece of tender filet mignon, cherry & bacon jam combined to add a sweet savoriness, and the egg, melted brie, and other spices just topped it all off. What a perfect location for this coffee shop! They are in a quaint quiet area in St. Charles. They have coffee and food items for sale along with a cute gift shop in the front. I really liked their t-shirts they had one that said support your local coffee shop and I think I may have to stop in to buy it! Now the good stuff, the coffee! I wandered by this cute coffee spot while I was out for an early walk with my dog, they welcomed us both in and even offered her a treat. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the coffee and food was awesome! I'm only sad I couldn't have tried more food. The atmosphere is very open in the main service space. The book book space by the front door is very cute with some personal touches like photos and merch. The did a great job of converting the brake shop into a coffee bar and still nodding to the original business that was there. Very cool! read more

Well today was the last chance on the food at upshot and they FAILED MISERABLE!! They are like any fast food restaurant. Looks great on TV but when u order it nothing like what you see. The cinnamon roll is a brick and the breakfast sandwich was a joke! You see these amazing looking items at the counter but it's far from what u get! Coffee and juice is on point but I will never get the food again. Breakfast this morning was over 70 dollars and it was hardly edible!!!!
