I adore a cafe. Especially one that is family owned. The space is cozy and quaint with plenty of seating for just you or small groups. They were quite busy during my Friday morning visit. They offer a beautiful pastry case full of delicious homemade treats. I grabbed a cinnamon roll because they were flying out of the case while I waited! The roll was tender and full of delicious cinnamon sugar topped with a cream cheese frosting. They offer a generous breakfast menu of sandwiches, breakfast plates, and omelettes. Again, I prefer savory to sweet and decided on a chicken salad sandwich. The croissant was nice and flaky and crispy. The chicken salad was well seasoned and paired perfectly with a juicy tomato slice and iceberg lettuce. MeMe's does offer a variety of hot and iced coffee. The milk selections are limited. I also found the coffee to be too sweet for my tastes. I'll have them add a lot less sweetener next time. Prefer hot coffee? They offer a small bar of sweeteners and flavored creamer to customize your coffee. All in all a delightful experience. The food and service are great. read more

I happened to be near Meme's Cafe on my way to work one day and decided to stop in, hoping to find a little breakfast treat. I'm so glad I did because I found exactly what I was looking for! I didn't have time to sit down and enjoy a full meal, although everything I saw other customers eating looked absolutely delicious. Instead, I headed over to the pastry case and immediately spotted a chocolate croissant. Chocolate croissants are a favorite in my family, so I knew I had to try one. I had the pleasure of talking with the woman working behind the counter, who turned out to be the owner. She told me she makes the croissants by hand every single day, and you can truly taste the care and effort she puts into them. What makes these croissants stand out is the chocolate distribution. Instead of getting one small section of chocolate that disappears after a couple of bites, the chocolate is spread throughout the entire croissant, making every bite just as good as the last. I bought one that day and immediately knew I needed to go back. That weekend, I returned and bought enough to share with my entire family--and everyone loved them! They have quickly become a family favorite. My daughter and I recently took a trip, and on our way to the airport, I made sure to stop by Meme's Cafe to pick up chocolate croissants for us to enjoy on the flight. Sharing those croissants in the air made the trip even sweeter! I highly recommend stopping by Meme's Cafe. I've tried a bunch of the food and coffee here and it's always a hit and excellent value. The weekends get a little busier (there's plenty of seating), but weekday mornings, this is also a perfect place to read a book or pop open your laptop and get some work done. There are obviously so many positives, but honestly the BEST thing about this place is the service. Stopped by after dropping off a car to get serviced and am shocked how good a traditional croissant bacon egg and cheese sandwich was! The place was cozy and surprisingly busy. Luckily there was a table in the back for us. Reasonable prices! Mine was $6 and it came out piping hot. I was shocked to have been 2/3 done but still saw steam coming from it. How do they do it? Cute little diner. I ordered the classic breakfast with scrambled eggs and my meat choice of bacon. The scrambled eggs were tasty. The bacon was cooked nicely. The two slices of toast were slim slices of bread. The hash browns were disappointing. The perfect oval shape is the giveaway they are premade and reheated and it tasted like it. The pastries were really good. The biscuits and gravy was inconsistent. One had barely and sausage and one was covered in it. The coffee was weak and the coffee area a cross contamination nightmare waiting to happen. I also didn't appreciate being served on a chilled plate. The establishment was busy but the tables and lay out making getting around difficult especially if you have any mobility issues. I will be back but for a grab and go and not to eat there. read more

We walked in for the first time and were pleasantly surprised the former owner of Kelly's Donuts owns this place. She was smiling and ready to take out order. I was shocked at how low the prices are. I finally feel like I'm being fairly charged when not at a full service restaurant. You can dine in but you order at the register first and then they will bring it to your table. We ordered a build your own omelet, chicken Philly, BLT (added egg), pancakes, and breakfast burrito. Everything came out quick and delicious with the exception of the pancakes. I would skip those next time. The Philly was on a croissant and that was another unexpected surprise. We will definitely return...maybe even tomorrow. read more

For the breakfast burrito you could choose your protein (ham, bacon or sausage) I do wish the peppers and onions were sautéed and not raw, but it was good regardless. Stopped in for a quick breakfast one morning running errands. Must have arrived before the crowd so we were able to quickly place our order. The dining area was clean with mostly table for 2-4 people. At the counter, there was a case of donuts and baked good to choose from as well as a menus to order other breakfast choices. We ordered a supreme omelet and a classic breakfast along with an "old fashioned" donut. Supreme omelet was good, a little dry. The classic breakfast I ordered with scrambled eggs with cheese and those came out with a slice of American cheese melted on top. The hash browns were the rectangular store bought type. I wasn't expecting that. There was a coffee bar that you filled your own coffee and they had numerous creamers to choose from. I had the ham and cheese omelette which I found over cooked and the eggs were not completely beaten to an omelette consistency. I ordered the biscuits and gravy along with the omelette. Went back to the counter and reminded them of this. The biscuits came out almost doughy and the gravy was very thick and heavy. The area was clean and the employees were courteous. What struck me the most in my wife and I walked in was the family friendly atmosphere. You look over the counter and the people in the back and you could tell this is a three generation business run with love. We got breakfast sandwiches that were full of fresh food cooked as well as it can be cooked. My wife got the BLT and I got the Texas sandwich and believe me it filled me up. This place definitely fills a need. Its not packed and slow like Black Bear Diner or First Watch. If you want to be able to get a table and eat right away, this a good option. Small, locally owned breakfast place. The owners and employees are wonderful and always helpful. Their croissant breakfast sandwiches have become a family favorite. My kids get their amazing large homemade cinnamon rolls every time we go. My husband is not a very big breakfast person but loves getting their "broken down Philly", Philly meat and peppers served with a dipping egg and toast.
