This place is right up our alley for getting dinner and drinks at the bar so we were very disappointed when we walked in (on a weekday evening) and were told we couldn't sit at one whole side of the bar...because their "high top tables behind are too close to the bar for servers to walk through". Are you (expletive) kidding me?! Either arrange your tables properly or train staff flow. We walked out. The bartender was soooo rude as we sat down, it wasn't worth even explaining to her why we got up and walked right back out the door. We love sitting at bars because the service is usually way better...not here! read more

Outstanding food and outstanding service! This is the second time my wife and I had lunch at Bricks and both visits were great. On each occasion our server was Miss Kelsye and she did a wonderful job of making sure we had a fine experience. She kept up with our needs and her other tables with ease. She was very patient while we looked over the menu and gave us some great recommendations on what we might like to try. The beer was ice cold and the atmosphere was nice and warm. I highly commend the Management and employees at Bricks for making our lunch dates so enjoyable. We had fried flounder and the best blackened fish tacos ever. We will be back soon to try the many other items on the menu that sound delicious! read more

Excellent food! Our table enjoyed the bourbon meatloaf with the mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese and the fried oysters with crack fries. The drinks ordered were a Beaufort Hurricane and a Platinum Margarita. The hurricane had a little bit of a funny flavor but the margarita was smooth. Service was lacking considering our salad arrived at the table at the same time as our meals. Our server never came back to our table once our orders were placed until about 10 minutes after we were finished. If the service would have been better I would have given them a solid 5 stars since our food was so delish! read more

Relaxing atmosphere & music. Many "Rolling Stones" covers framed. Antique cars also. Twelve television screens. Many sports channels. Full bar, many brews. Family dining as well. Outside dining in warmer weather. Large rustic area available. Inside area, flooring, tables, booths & straight chairs, all mostly rustic wood. Comfortable. Parking can be a challenge. Very tight, much care needed to prevent fender benders or worse. This area does not allow for spacious parking areas.. read more

We had a wonderful waitress named Ty. She made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. It was our first time dining here but we will definitely be coming back. My wife and I brought our family here for a quick bite and drinks. I really enjoyed the theme it had as a casual bar/pub. What ruined our experience was our server, Kristen M. After our first interaction of taking our order we never saw her again without having to rudely flag her down. Someone else had to bring our kids food, our food, and our drinks which were warm from sitting at the bar. All three of these being separate interactions. When we finally were able to get her attention to bring the check (because kindly asking a more attentive server to get her didn't work) we had to pay from a hand held tablet where the options for tipping are 0, 20, 22, and 25% while the server stares at you. Our food was great, the drinks (even though they were warm) were good, and the other servers seem to be very kind and attentive to their tables. I would definitely love to come back with a different server. read more

The waitress was very friendly and helpful. I spilled my tea on the table and she came quickly to help me clean it up. The wait for our food was probably 20 to 30 min. We ordered our burgers well done. They came out done in the middle but.with one side burnt. My daughters mac n cheese was weird. The cheese sauce was light and watery. The taste reminded me of the poor man's mac n cheese with pasta and a slice of.cheese stirred in. I was really disappointed because the food I had a few years ago here was good. Ordered drinks, waitress ran off to get them.....disappeared.....finally another showed up ten minuters later. Good service after the rough start. Had the fish sandwich. Comes on a hoagie bun with a mixed chopped veggie topping which seemed a bit hotter than just jalapenos. Brother had yesterdays meatloaf with caramelized onion. Both excellent, one side order comes with the lunch meal. Rates a 4.5/5. Good spot to meet up with people and not fight the downtown crowd. read more

Dinner came out with sides to follow, sides never came and when asked to remove them from the bill was informed that they were free and no discount would be made. Fish was so saturated in oil it had to be put on napkins to try and dry it. As a culinary professional, I know things don't always come out perfect, but to not make it right is unforgivable. Arrived here with a group of six adults and four small kids. Took a few minutes to get a table but we did get to sit inside and avoid outside bug risk. Service was consistent, prompt, and accurate in our orders. Nachos awesome, quesadilla above average, burgers good, though not incredible. Beer very cold and good selection.
