Service was good and the atmosphere was exactly what you'd want from a sports bar. The pool table was a great addition and made the place feel fun and relaxed. The fries were also really good -- definitely one of the highlights of the meal. The biggest issue was with the food quality on the ribs and wings. The ribs were overcooked, very tough, and didn't pull apart like good ribs should. The wings were also overcooked to the point they were almost crunchy. That said, the sauces were excellent and helped save the meal a bit. The BBQ sauce on the ribs had great flavor, and I ordered the spicy teriyaki wings which tasted really good. My dad also enjoyed the mango habanero and Cajun dry rub flavors. Overall, the restaurant has a great sports bar vibe, solid service, and strong sauce flavors, but the kitchen really needs to improve consistency on cooking the meat properly. read more

Ordered take out and was informed to go to the bar to pick it up. No one was behind the bar so we waited...finally someone asked if we needed help. To our surprise we still waited then finally someone came. Given the bill and we had the money in hand then the bartender walks away to clean a container. We noticed on the bill there was a credit card charge fee but we were paying with cash. Informed the bartender and she states they put it on every bill. Just lousy service. Dinner time at last and despite a bunch of empty tables, I was asked to wait for about 20 minutes by the hostess. I told her I needed a table with power for the laptop. I'd have preferred to wait at a table or even at the bar, but that wasn't offered so I sat at the hostess stand. Despite being the only person sitting there and no one coming or going while I was sitting, 20 minutes. Okay, my name was called. Weird, as I'm still the only person sitting. She brought me to one table - no power. I need a table with a power outlet or I'm not staying. So she brought me to another table that did have power. Hooray. A pleasant waitress took my drink and food order and my grilled chicken strips arrived not too much later. A good portion, cooked and sauced as requested. We were craving some comfort food, and Brody's has delivered some decent patty melts during our past visits so we ventured in hoping for some gooey goodness. Our server was beyond friendly and accommodating. We usually start with fried mushrooms (which are always exceptionally fresh, juicy and perfectly breaded and fried). This time, we opted to try the onion rings instead. The rings arrived perfectly hot and battered with an exceptionally light and crispy crust. They needed salt, (but I'd rather have to add it myself), and were accompanied by a " spicy" aioli. It was tame but added a nice creamy touch to the onions. We decided to split the burger as the serving size is substantial. Usually, crinkle cut potatoes accompany the sandwich but they offered steak fries this time. We ordered them extra crisp. The food arrived fresh and hot. The melt was perfectly cut in half. Our only complaint was that we requested the thousand island on the side. (We really don't care for the practice of servers choosing not to write orders down. Invariably a mistake will be made and of course that's what happened.) luckily the sandwich was not doused with the dressing, but it was still an unwanted condiment - at least for me. The rest of the patty melt really delivered. The marbled rye was perfectly griddled, the Swiss cheese was nicely melted, the onions soft, and the beef was incredibly juicy and cooked to a medium as requested. Brodys used to be one of my favorite places to go. My friends and I used to go every other weekend after work to have some beer and food. Recently, I don't know her name, the owner or manager seems to hate when we come in. We can get loud but it's a sports bar for crying out loud, people get loud. We are always getting nasty looks and here recently one member at the table was cut off for no obvious reason and that i guess meant the entire table was cut off. I am sure it's fun out there when we aren't all masked-up and distant. Their beer menu was weak and we weren't even told about the few they had on draft. You offer a million things for dinner but like ten beers? Come on man! The wings were crispy and tender and had decent flavor. We think it's difficult to find good wings, and we'd order these again. The buffalo shrimp was fresh, but way too salty so stick with the wings. The Philly cheesesteak was fine, but the fries were not eatable as they were cold and season-less. The spinach salad was the best item we ordered and I ate every bite of it! The thing with these places is they don't have to have a 4-page menu. Offer apps, burgers, a couple sandwiches, and a few salads. Do what you do really well and take the other unnecessary entrees off! So, I think if a sports bar is more than 3 or 4 stars, then it's not a really a sports bar. This place fits the bill perfectly. Plenty of TVs, reasonably priced beer, and a surprisingly good hamburger steak. If you are looking for a place to grab a bite and watch a game, Brody's fits the bill. Brody's came highly recommended from a local. We enjoyed stopping in here and eating outside on the covered porch. Although we did not go into the uncovered outside area, it looks very inviting. We can't wait to go back on an evening in enjoy the fire! The outside area is fenced in and is dog friendly! While at the restaurant we enjoyed to type so wings. The mild Buffalo and the "slow burn" were great Mild was for our kiddo and. Our waitress recommended we try the "tap out" wings. Overall, our experience was great! We LOVED the burgers. They were salty and juicy and I was muttering expletives as I was eating. The fries however were what stopped me from giving this five stars. They were dry and unflavored, save for the pepper that was used as seasoning. The restaurant itself has great vibes, with TVs, photos of local youth teams, and a beautiful outdoor patio. The staff at Brody's is very nice and helpful. They know the menu and work hard to accommodate your seating needs. They are also timely and informative. The restaurant is in a great locations withs plenty of parking. Now the issues: The floors were slick, so slick kids were making a game of sliding around, so slick we being very cautious not to slip. When mentioned to the staff they thought it might be because of the AC?! More like a dirty mop and no cleaner in the water. And the food was simply Meh. The burgers had no taste and no seasoning. We have tried just about everything on the menu and NEVER had a bad meal! The wings were great . They are more popular for their wings so we had a large variety to choose from. It's a little pricy but not bad for a family night out . They have indoor and outdoor seating and the wait was less than 2 mins. We had a group so we had three different flavors which were all pretty good.
