This place has the best pizza. The uff-da is our favorite. Service used to be slow but has gotten really good.

As soon as you walk in, you get the old school pizza parlor. The first thing that gets you is the aroma of pizza, and it is so good you just know the pizza will taste great as well. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by someone in the open kitchen, told us to grab a menu and come back up when we were ready to order and sit anywhere. The dining room is small with several booths and there was a large group there that they pushed tables together to accommodate. They have a lot of great looking specialty pizzas but we did a build your own and even though it was just 2 of us, we got a 16 in so we would have leftovers to take home. It only took about 20 minutes for our pizza and it was everything I expected. Perfect crust, the sauce was fresh tasting and flavorful, and the toppings are tasty and generous. I think I would vacation in Two Harbors again just to get this pizza! If you are in the area, this is a must!

Maybe slightly sauce heavy, but it really hit the spot and was one of the only options that was open after 7PM on my drive up to Tofte/Lutsen. Definitely got lucky taking a stab at sitting down here instead of hunting for fast food. If you are a thin crust lover like me - check this place out for sure and you won't be disappointed!

I've heard of this pizza place several times and have been meaning to give it a try. My dad and I walked in and we were greeted by a very pleasant and polite gal who made us feel right at home immediately. I didn't have my readers so I couldn't see the menu and just ordered a sausage and pepperoni pizza. The place had a nice vibe and while she was making pizzas the gal was still interacting with us. The pizza came out of the oven and served in about 15 minutes. Piping hot and cooked just enough on the well done side to be perfect. The first bite burned my mouth, my fault for not waiting. Each bite after that was amazing. The pizza crust was thin, crunchy, but light and airy almost. I've not experienced that type of crust before. The sauce had a distinct flavor that was top notch and the sausage was flavorful but not overbearing. I looked at my dad and said this is probably the best pizza I've ever had. He said the same thing. Highly recommend this place if you're stopping in Two Harbors, passing through or just decide to drive up like we will be doing next week to try another.

Unfortunately when I arrived there was no greeting from any of the numerous staff. The two front desk employees were very busy with their registers and the phone, and it was 5 minutes before I was able to speak to someone. The main lady was a bit short with me, (and I saw her be much shorter with other customers). They were really busy, so I can sympathize with the stress, but some more manners would have went a long way. Unfortunately my pickup time was 15 minutes later than the ETA I was given online. When it came to the pizza itself though, they really delivered! It's possibly the best BBQ Chicken pizza I've had, even though I was surprised by the inclusion of dill pickles. If you're a pizza fan visiting the north shore it's definitely worth considering this place!

It was in the mid afternoon so perhaps time was on my side. My server was very sweet and timely with refills etc. Ambiance: this is a good family place. Not fancy but good for a casual night out. There is a bar area separated by a door from the main restaurant. Food: the food was good. I had a pizza and my server recommended trying 2 different kinds (after some indecision on my part). For no extra charge they did each half differently which was really nice. I tried the Athena (Greek style) and Classic (like a supreme). Both were very tasty.

My beer came out quickly and I was happy about that. The real let down was the carry out pizza. I specifically walked back late in the evening to get some and was disappointed with the cheese one. There wasn't any outstanding toppings on my pizza(even with the peperoni it seems). I couldn't finish it unfortunately. Don't get me wrong, this seems like a great location to hang out and eat regardless. Service was great, the waitresses checked on me often. Overall, could have been better.

I walked up to the bar, was greeted by a woman with a sour look on her face, and ordered a non-alcoholic Bloody Mary. I asked for it to be spicy. I've been ordering these drinks with and without alcohol for about 40 years now: This was the only undrinkable one I've encountered. It tasted like Red Hot on the rocks. I took a couple of sips and had to go throw up in the bathroom. Not kidding. My stomach and mouth were on fire. I'm still sick over an hour later. The two people I was with ordered food and were happy with it. I only had this horrible drink. When the waitress came back a couple of times, my full drink sat in front of me. She didn't ask if something was wrong with it. The second time she came back to the table I told her she could take the drink, that it was not drinkable. She said their mix is hot. Understatement of the year! There aren't a lot of people up north who like things spicy. I, however, do. She was kind enough to leave the full glass and bring a bill for $8.50. I paid it. On the way out, I handed the full drink to the sour faced lady that had originally "greeted" me at the bar. I told her it was so hot that it was undrinkable. No offer of a refund. I told her it was a nice way to spend $8.50. Now I remember why we stopped going here.

I didn't have the greatest expectations for pizza in Cloquet, but the reviews were good, and we really wanted pizza. We ended up getting two twelve inch and two ten-inch pizzas, which was way too much for four of us. All the pizzas were great, except perhaps the pesto pizza which didn't have enough interest for my taste. Our waitress was very friendly and checked on us regularly while we waited. It did seem to take a while, but I think there were a lot of take-out orders while we were there.

This is a small but well kept restaurant not far off 35. There is a large parking lot and some patio seating. The service here was quick and friendly! We were not rushed while I was trying to figure out what to order. I opted to get the Caesar salad and garlic Parmesan wings to start. The salad had plenty of croutons which my kids loved! The garlic Parmesan wings were juicy and crispy but I couldn't taste garlic or Parmesan on these wings. The pizza was your classic midwestern thin crust. The crust was chewy and crisp and the edges! This pizza was tasty and while I wasn't drinking alcohol since I was the only driver, I suspect that a cold beer with this pizza would be superb! If you are looking for a no frills tasty pizza joint just outside of the hustle and bustle of Duluth, this is definitely your place!
