I was on the road traveling, and wanted to stop and have a sit down lunch. I pulled into a lot with the intentions to go to Longhorn... But next to it was Bubba's 33. I decided to try a new place and chose Bubba's. I'm glad I did! Bubba's is a sister company of Texas Roadhouse, and while had some of the same feel was more of a sports bar feel. The menu was amazing and had a lot of fun options for everyone. I ordered the nachos and a side salad, and my kiddo ordered the steak, with seasoned fries. The food was AMAZING! The service was well, the staff informative, and very friendly. Sadly, there are no Bubba's near me as I'm from Missouri, but they do have locations in Texas and a few other states. If I ever stop off in Wichita again, well be eating here! read more

I have had a super difficult time finding any restaurants in the Wichita area that has decent food. I find most of it overpriced and not that great. I can cook better than 99% of the places I have been to, and it costs less to do that !! Bubbas 33 is the FIRST place in Wichita that I enjoyed !! I will definitely be going back !! That's for sure !! I was there with a group of gals and we all got different food and drinks. Every single one of us remarked that the food and drinks had been very good! I think all of us were surprised at how good it was. Like I said - I will definitely be going back!! PS. It might be a bit dark? But it was clean. And the food choices were very good! I ordered the bacon guacamole burger and my girl ordered the classic club when our food arrived there was hair in both of our food. The female that brought our food to the table was a little rude but our waiter was nice. They brought fresh food back probably 15 minutes later. We got take out today and the food was good except for one thing. I requested no pepper on my food and it was overloaded with pepper. My mouth is still on fire. The chef needs to cool it with how much pepper he puts on things. Also when someone requests no pepper, don't put any on the food! Especially ​when someone requests NO PEPPER! It did not make a pleasant dining experience. I was really looking forward to today's meal of fish, garlic mashed potatoes and coleslaw. Guess I'd this happens again in will NOT be eating here anymore. read more

I've been here twice. The first time the waitress was rude and didn't separate the ticket between my other party and myself. When I brought it to her attention she got upset and said we never said it was separate. When she split the ticket she did an event split. The second time was years later. We were sat, our drink orders were taken (we both ordered soda), then 45 minutes later we left. No drinks were ever served, the waitress never came back. I will never go here again. read more

Bottom crust was not done, underbaked. They need a better cook. It's better to dine somewhere else for pizza. The waiter did not check if we wanted anything else, we had to find him to order more food and drinks. They also should have more specials on the food. read more

Went for the brunch and my wife ordered French toast. A few minutes later the waitress comes back and says they are out of heavy cream and can't make French toast. Whoever is in charge of inventory should be fired! How hard is it? And why is heavy cream used in French toast anyway?!? Embarrassing!!! read more

The food and service were phenomenal. Plus they had plenty of TVs to watch sports on.

Didn't take long to get seated at bubbas on a busy game night. The place was packed but the service was still quick and attentive. However, we had to ask for silverware and napkins. Food came out quick and delicious, with excellent guidance from our server. We had ordered some wings as a starter that aren't pictured on the photo, but are amazing. Skin wasn't too crispy and had juicy meat. My ribeye was marinated in espresso and finished off with the coffee glaze, soooo good. The southern fried chicken was so juicy and flavorful. The spinach dip was alright, I'm not the biggest fan of it. Overall, would come back again for some yummy food. read more

Another date night 2024! This place was hopping busy on a Thursday night but we only had a 5 minute wait. The waiter ((Noah) was informative and attentive. I had the Dickie V pizza, Tim had the Wild Shroomin Burger. We split them so we could try both. So far this is one of our favorites! We will definitely be back with friends. This has been a regular place for us the past couple of months but now I'm not sure we'll be back. We were seated were we could see into not the whole kitchen but like where they cut pizzas and do final prep. The person there was getting on their phone with gloves and then going back to cutting pizzas with the same gloves--touching the crust. Made me wonder what happens in the actual kitchen part. On top of this the busser dropped a thing of sauce and it splattered everywhere, including all over me and my shirt. He kept going and the host came over to clean up the floor. I had to ask for something to clean up myself with and got handed a stack of tiny napkins, then our server came and awkwardly stood trying to take our order while I tried to clean myself up. No apologies from anyone, except for a halfhearted one from the manager 15 minutes later when I told her what happened. The service had already been hit and miss for us but we enjoy the food and the atmosphere. This experience however made us not want to go back. read more

Never heard of this place but stopped in on the way out of town. Waiter was very good and told us it's part of Texas Roadhouse chain but a sports bar atmosphere. Great place with great TV set up. We ordered onion rings, fried pickles and a Nacho Mama pizza. Fried pickles were super thin and delicious. Onion rings were solid and the pizza was delicious and one of the best crusts I've ever had. (Tip: request sides of salsa for the pizza as it takes it over the top). Wish we had one of these in KC area. read more

Unfortunately the food quality at this restaurant continues to decline. My bone-in wings were cold on the inside. Undercooked chicken is a bad thing. The other people at my table commented that their meals were of poorly quality. The service was subpar, which wasn't due to lack of staff. It was lack of giving a damn. This is our first time in Wichita for a concert this weekend. Needed a spot to watch football and a bite to eat. We decided on this spot and we had a fabulous experience. Dayonna took care of us and she never missed a beat. She kept the drinks coming, told us about the daily shot specials and recommended great options. I had the mushroom burger and my boyfriend did the pizza. Tvs everywhere so you could watch all the NFL games on today. Dayonna thank you for all you do. You made some tourists feel like family!!! I ate here for a fundraiser event, and I was promised "dinner at bubbas" after the event. while the garlic knots were yummy, one basket is not enough to fill up the six people that were sitting at my table. not to mention, the table I was sitting at was at the entire other side of my group because they didn't prepare enough seating for the very large group? Our servers name was Joseph and he told us we couldn't order any food of our own off of the menu and pay for it like normal because we came here with this group.... I was visiting Wichita last week and visited Bubba's 33 for the first time. Last time I was in Wichita they didn't have it so I wanted to give it a try. I ordered the Blackened Bleu Burger with fries. The burger comes with creamy blue cheese sauce, smoked bacon, lettuce, tomato and onion. I ordered it well done. The burger was amazing. The blue cheese sauce was incredible and there was plenty of it for each and every bite. The fries were good as well but the burger was so big that I barely ate the fries. If you want a good burger at a reasonable price Bubba's 33 is a great place to go. read more

First time dining at Bubba's 33. Highly advise to call ahead and have your name put on the wait list (very busy on Friday/Saturday and weekday game days). It's a sports bar/restaurant therefore noisy (tv's everywhere and blaring music video). Heard their pizza was good so we ordered a pizza (NY style). Skimpy on sauce and cheese, the tomatoes were just dumped on top of the pizza. Sad. Also ordered a 6pc XL onion rings (disliked the Bubba sauce but rings were good), and the mozzarella sticks/marinara sauce (very good!). We don't drink alcoholic beverages but I will say they have a lot to offer and reasonably priced. Our waitress "Julie" (Cali girl) was great. Running around like a chicken with its head cutoff, busy gal! Next time we visit it won't be for the pizza. Bubbas does have a lot of entrees to choose from and appetizers, even a kids menu. Reasonably priced; nothing cheap in Wichita whether a restaurant or a fast food place for two retired people to dine. Being our first visit, the manager gave us a complimentary coupon for a free 12" pizza and appetizer on our next visit. If you plan to eat at Bubbas often, take advantage of their fan club rewards program (advertised on their menu). read more

The atmosphere was nice and the TV selections were great. Servers were great and attentive. Pricing was reasonable. The food was pretty mediocre though. We got two pizzas and a burger. The burger was pretty good. The pizzas, forever, weren't great. Very generic and lacked much flavor. I had high hopes for this place, but for us, it missed the mark. read more

Have been going there several times as a family. Every time we have had mix ups with the beverages. This last time, we were told the carbonation quit. When ordering a salad, they were out of the spring mix. We politely asked if they could turn the music down, just a little. We were told no as this is the "Bubba's" experience. There were 10 of us there and it was very difficult to hear conversation. We had a fabulous waitress. Don't believe any of the issues were her fault.
