The first day I came here, I was just expecting to get a feel of the atmosphere and set up an appointment. Not only was welcomed with smiles, they also accommodated me into the schedule that day due do having an opening. With that, the dresses they selected matched perfectly with my vision. I had made a follow up to have my family there with me another day, which was the last appointment of that day, and Zoe was working solo. Update: regarding the reply from the business owner. I read a long apology without accountability. I'm not a customs that is trying to be right. I was thoroughly factual but yet unheard, undervalued, and dismissed by the owners "apology." When an apology is given without demonstrating a genuine understanding of their impact, their words lose weight. The staff are friendly and fun! The selection of dresses they have are of different varieties, so you have plenty of choices to choose from. They not only cater to the bride but they also have clothing selections for the groom and his groomsmen..as well as the bridesmaids. I loved the atmosphere here! I was so excited to come to this bridal store. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses and it was the worst experience. The associate that "helped" me was rude and disinterested. Nothing about my appointment was organized. I was shoved in a small corner with my group that came with me and felt the need to apologize for everything I asked for because the associate seemed irritated and not wanting to help. Such a waste of time and so disheartening on what should have been an exciting day that I had girls drive from all over Texas to join on. Thankful for Bridal connection fitting me in without an appointment. I was able to found my dream dress the first day after a disaster with David's bridal loosing my first dress! Only complaint would be the in store tailors. I was told by a wonderful lady that she would be assisting me in the process but come to find out my next appointment, it was a new lady. I stopped by as a walk in and was happy to have been accommodated but I will say the lady who worked with me was not very pleasant to work with. She constantly disagreed with things I said about the fit of a dress or how it fit on my body. I explained how I wanted my dream dress to hit my waist in a certain way (which other dresses at other shops had) and she argued with me on where dresses should hit on a waist and where a natural waist was etc. it felt like everything was an argument and I would say this appointment was my least favorite out of 10 shops I went to. She was also diving way deep into personal matters like her other jobs etc which had nothing to do with dress shopping and felt awkward to listen to. It didn't make it feel like I was shopping for my dream wedding dress, but more like listening to a colleague at work. I also felt they were the most salesy of all the boutiques I shopped at. There were parts of dresses that I didn't like and instead of just moving on to a new one, I felt like I was it's constantly disagreed with. Pros: Loved the dresses they had and selection Cons: Our consultant, Angelita, was very rude and pushy especially when we told her we had other shops to visit. Seating for guests was terribly uncomfortable and bride left feeling very disappointed in her very first appointment trying on dresses. The staff were not dressed professionally like all of the other places we went to and the building could be decorated in a much more elegant way. Do NOT under any circumstance pay for a private appointment, it is not worth it for any reason. We went to other places that didn't even require you to pay for an appointment and had amazing experiences. "We emailed our designer in Italy and they said they'd be willing to sketch the dress you imagine!" This is what Angelita Sorenson said on the phone after I told them I LIKED the dress but wanted alterations. This phone call began a 6 month journey of establishing a client-customer relationship with Angelita and Rafaela. They were there every step of the way interacting back and forth with me and the representative for the Nicole Milano line, for which they are an exclusive retailer in San Antonio. Not to brag but it must be said so the full effect of this shops dedication is understood, my dress and veil are one of a kind, custom fitted to my body and designed to my specifications. The dress and veil are now named "Celeste" after myself and will not ever be reproduced the exact same way. What else can a bride dream of? Their dedication to their clients was so visible that I trusted them and order my wedding dress off a sketch and waited 6 months for it. Once I tried it on I realized it was definitely the dress for which I had been waiting. I then hosted my bridesmaid proposal at Bridal Connection, where Angelita and Ralf had a bunch of bridesmaids dresses ready for them to try on. All my bridesmaids wore different styles of Mori Lee dresses, there's a stigma that bridesmaids usually hate their dress but mine ALL LOVED their dress. The entire Bridal Connection staff attended my wedding, Angelita arrived early (to my great fortune) and helped me get dressed for my wedding dress, was there after the ceremony to bustle my dress and even help me use the restroom. These ladies are the real deal. They love their customers, their brides, their bridesmaids and all of the employees LOVE working there. So let me tell you!!! Our bride came down from waaay west Texas. She bought her dress and everything else from up that way. And her alterations lady left her with a wrinkled dress ON HER WEDDING DAY!!! I had a great experience at bridal connections! My stylist was Alyssa (sorry if that's not spelled right). I showed her what I was looking for, but also told her if she had anything else she thought I should try, to pull it. I think I tried on under 10 dresses when I found the one. That doesn't sound like a lot but when your putting these bad boys on and off, it's a lot of work lol. I came on a Thursday, and though Alyssa was the only associate in the store helping us and taking calls I feel like we still had great service. She also chose a veil that looked fabulous with the dress, we were all happy crying! I let her know that I wanted to think on it for a day or two just to be sure and they were absolutely ok with that. We came back in a few days later, tried on the dress again to be sure. It was absolutely the one. The owner of the store (sorry I forget her name, she had bold eye shadow and a flower in her hair) was super friendly and welcoming, told us all the forthcoming details for the dress and fittings. I also like that the seamstress' are in house and have worked for 20+ years I believe she said. So I feel I'm in good hands. I can't wait to see how the dress fits when it comes in! When I was dress shopping for my wedding I only wanted to go to Bridal Connections as they were the only salon that carries Randy Fenoli in San Antonio. When I went into the store to find a particular dress they had it, although it was about 12 sizes too big, they did their best to ensure I could see how great it would look when it was the right size. Sure enough it was perfect when mine came in. I loved my dress and am still swooning over how amazing it looked. The only negative comment/experience we had was that there was a miscommunication on the tipping of the consultant, in our opinion there shouldn't be an option to tip the consultant when checking out through the electronic card reader. The consultants make a lot of money and we shouldn't be roped into tipping an additional few hundred dollars due to confusion. read more

Angelita pulled a lot of great options for me to try and saved the one I came for until last, saying I wouldn't want to take it off if I tried it first. And she was right! We ordered the dress then and there. Can't wait to wear it on my wedding day! I really appreciated that Bridal Connection had a number of sample dresses available in curvy/plus size to try on. This made my shopping experience much easier and less stressful. I hate giving small businesses poor reviews but this was a horrible experience. The consultant working with me made very off color remarks about my weight and was basically shouting it across the salon. She didn't have anything kind to say about me and she made myself and everyone in my bridal party very uncomfortable. My appointment was 2 hours long and she was rushing me and told me there was basically nothing else to put me in and we ended up leaving after just an hour. Arrived at 11:50 am for our 12:00 pm appointment. We entered to a less than welcoming greeting that they were not opening for another 10 minutes. From across the room, we were told that while we did not have to go back outside, they wouldn't be with us until noon. The stylist never introduced herself to those of us with the bride or asked who we were relative to the bride. We were calm, but she appeared frantic and bothered during the first half of the appointment. We were excited to come for the appointment and had chosen this store because they were an exclusive carrier of Mori Lee and Randy Fenoli. The store was also different from what I was expecting. We were seated in direct view of people being fitted by alterations, which was awkward. We were also in the same room and facing another group with an appointment at the same time. The toilet in the bathroom was the grossest toilet I have ever seen. I asked if I could show her some dresses we had picked out, and she told me, "No." I was so taken aback. As it turns out, she thought I was asking if I could pick out dresses. I had to explain that we had looked online and had a few specific dresses we liked. We learned she didn't have our favorite in the store at all, and she said, this one is $6,000, which isn't your budget. I would rate her customer service skills at a 0 out of 10. I would not recommend this store to anyone. There was also a mess of items hanging up in between the two benches we had to sit on. Overall, I think this shop has seen better days... look elsewhere. Coming in I was very nervous I had been to David's bridal found some dresses but they were not me. Also the customer service there is not the best they need you in and out. Here at Bridal Connection that is NOT the case. I was welcomed in the best way showed pictures of what my ideas were on my dream dress. And I was able to get out of my comfort zone and find my DREAM dress. I am amazed at customer service and the selections they have and also being size inclusive is a HUGE plus! I went to several different bridal dress stores throughout my search for the perfect dress. This place is by far, the lowest ranked in my opinion. Staff was not friendly, and had little to no help actually trying on and fastening the dresses. When I initially called to make an appointment, I told the receptionist what I was looking for. She assured they had plenty of options. However, once I got there, I had only 2/3 to choose from. The ladies at Bridal Connection are some of the best people I've had the pleasure of meeting and working with. After having such a horrible experience at a different bridal store, these ladies were able to completely turn the situation around and save my dress and my sanity before my wedding day. Here is my story: I had previously purchased a dress from another bridal store and had some alterations done at that same bridal store. The alterations were more than just subpar. My dress was completely botched. The alterations ladies there downplayed their horrible mistakes and made it seem like nothing wrong was done. I left the store in tears because of how awful it looked. I even told them I would have to find another dress. I only had a month before my wedding and I never even received a call from the manager to apologize and try to remedy the situation. I was so upset I even showed my fiancé the dress and ruined the surprise just to make sure I wasn't going crazy. He agreed that the dress was unacceptable and wanted a complete refund. I paid $2,000 in alterations and spent around $8,000 for the dress and veil. I felt completely taken advantage of but I didn't want to take any legal action and cause even more stress before our wedding. I didn't think anyone could fix my disaster of a dress so I started looking around for another one. Bridal Connection was my last stop after visiting five other bridal shops. The ladies there were so nice and welcoming. I tried on a few of their beautiful dresses but nothing was quite like the original dress I picked. I showed Angelita, the store manager, my dress and she understood my frustration and sympathized with me. After I explained my horrible experience, she kindly and generously offered to have Nazzy, her alterations specialist, take a look at my dress and see what could be done. The next day I came in and Nazzy was able to asses the damage and come up with a solution. She told me "your dress doesn't need alterations, it needs plastic surgery!" She also gave me some wise advice that made me feel more at ease. She said to not worry about what had already been done because she didn't want me to bring that negativity into my marriage. She was going to make it right no matter how much work it was going to take. Nazzy and Angelita gave me so much hope and relief by assuring me that my dress would be fixed. A few alterations appointments later and my dress was not only fixed but a work of art! I felt so beautiful and confident! My situation was truly a blessing in disguise because if it weren't for my horrible experience I would never have had the pleasure of meeting and working with these wonderful ladies. I will forever be grateful for their kindness and exceptional service. read more
