The second before opening the door to this place I mentioned to my mother how nervous I was. I didn't feel great about myself and really wanted to work on me before dress shopping, but due to the short time frame of my wedding, I had to start the process! So the second we walked in, we were greeted by friendly staff including the sweetest, most adorable worker, Joe! He literally made my mother and I smile ear to ear. He looks like a ken doll and is truly the most sweetest, most honest, most lovable! After waiting a few moments, Lauren introduced herself as the one to help me one on one. The moment Lauren spoke, I immediately loved her. I showed her a few pics and she was on it! Within minutes, she was in my dressing room with dresses that were similar to my liking. She worked so hard to get me fitted perfectly. Not only was she an absolute doll, but an incredibly hard worker as well. I bonded with her immediately. She was honest with me and made me feel so comfortable even though I really wasn't within my own self. After trying on a few dresses, we came down to two dresses and that's when I met Allie, the beautiful manager. Allie can light up a room with her kindness. She was giving me her honest opinions and complimenting me when I needed it the most. Within minutes, my mom and I were surrounded by the entire staff making me feel like a queen bride. Everyone in the store finished up & it was just me left. In fact, Allie was supposed to be leaving and she stayed an extra hour just to watch me make a decision. It was literally a scene out of a movie! I can cry thinking about it because it was literally such a magical and special time for me. They were so patient & made me feel literally the most beautiful! The staff at BR made my one and only wedding dress experience truly UNFORGETTABLE! Aside from that, I am the most meticulous & picky person, but they won me over times a million. I left that day with so much more than my dream dress, but in fact new friends/family! I can not recommend this place enough, alllll of the staff were attentive, sweet, hard working, lovable people! The salon agreed to credit me back 80% of my original $900 deposit. If you feel like throwing away money, here's the place to go. I for one am not made of money so therefore I would never recommend this place to anyone. I went here, with three other bridesmaids for our bridesmaid dresses. At my appointment for my measurements, the customer service representative was cold, and uninterested. She measured my bust, waist and hips OVER my winter clothes, which consisted of about 3 layers. I even asked her if I should take off my bulky sweater as she measured, for I was concerned that the measurements would be incorrect. She assured me that I didn't have to. She wrote down my "measurements" (and I use that term loosely) and recommended a size that was a full two sizes larger than I bridesmaids dress I had ordered the same year. Of course I questioned her, stating that I had recently ordered a dress two sizes smaller and it still had to be taken in. The response I got was "well this designer runs really small". So again, because I was concerned that my measurements were incorrect, I asked to try the sample size, which was one size smaller than what she told me to order.. The sample size was swimming on me. So I questioned the customer service representative again. Annoyed that I had questioned her, she responded. "well the sample sizes don't always run true to size. we STRONGLY recommend the size we measured you for." I disagreed and told her I would order the sample size (even still reluctant because I felt it was too big). Since I ordered a size smaller than recommended, I was asked to sign an affidavit that would relieve them of any responsibility if it was too small. This whole process made me feel like I was in the wrong for going against the recommended size. This is the exact same process the other three bridesmaids went through at this establishment. I went to pick up my dress today....and you guessed it...IT WAS HUGE. So large in fact, that I was able to put on and remove the dress without even undoing the zipper. Now, on top of the two hundred and something dollar price of the dress, I have to spend money on alterations. Now keep in mind that i had ordered a size SMALLER than the recommended size they gave me, so you can only imagine how upset I'd be if I ordered the actual recommended size. Furthermore, all three of the other bridesmaids (who also ordered a size smaller than recommended) have to have their dresses taken in so drastically that there is concern that the shape of the dress will be compromised upon alteration. After I tried the dress on, I made sure to tell the ladies there how upset I was, and that I would clearly be taking my business elsewhere for my alterations. The ladies there didn't even seem phased that I was upset and had no response for me. No apology, no offer to help, nothing. Needless to say, myself, and the other pissed off bridesmaids will be sure to never set foot in Bridal Reflections again. read more

I am so impressed with the women at bridal reflections and the wide variety of gowns! Just ordered my dress during a trunk show and Allie and Leslie were beyond helpful. Although Allie was the one who worked with me from beginning to end of my 2 appointments, Leslie took the time to give another input, which was great! The store is super clean, comfortable, and they were incredibly accommodating to the 5 people that I brought with me...including my 86 year old grandma. Amazing! I went to this location yesterday. Everyone that works there is beyond amazing. Jody helped me throughout the process, I felt defeated in the beginning as I wasn't seeing what I wanted on the racks. Jody was so patient! This morning I had the most amazing wedding dress shopping experience at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. I have been dress shopping to a few other boutiques on Long Island but nothing compared to Bridal Reflections. My consultant, Rachna, was absolutely lovely. I showed Rachna a picture of a wedding dress that I liked. Rachna selected beautiful dresses for me to try on. She was very professional and kind throughout our appointment. I went to Bridal Reflections to try on wedding gowns. I had an amazing experience. Everyone that worked there was friendly and professional. I worked with Stefanie and she was very patient and catered to my needs always with a smile. They did not rush me at any point and did not pressure me to purchase anything. I am writing to share my amazing experience with Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. This was the first salon I went to a couple of months ago when I didn't really know what I was looking for in a dress. Enza was very patient with me and let me try on several styles and narrow down my likes/dislikes. I then went to a few different salons (including Kleinfeld) and was beginning to feel defeated and very frustrated. I made another appointment at Bridal Reflections (since the first visit went so well) and met with Rashna. Rashna listened to EVERYTHING I was explaining to her and promised that she would take every concern I had into consideration (something I felt other salons were not doing). She picked out dresses for me and I liked the first two, but was hesitant about the way the third looked on the hanger. I tried on the first two and liked them a lot, and we discussed specifically what I did/didn't like about each one, and then she REALLY urged me to put on the third one. I finally listened and started crying almost immediately once I saw myself in the mirror. Rashna found my dress and I love it to death. I am so fortunate that I was able to work with her and that she knew exactly how to make me feel comfortable and push myself a teeny bit to finally find the perfect dress. I had to pay $75 for unprofessional service and no dresses. Do not trust this place, they are very shady. They do not communicate well, their policies and deadlines. I came here because my family and friends live very close to the Massapequa location. We needed to order bridesmaids dresses within 2 months of the wedding date. The staff at Bridal Reflections stated they were unable to rush many of the styles we had wanted (although I later found that other bridal salons in the city and bayshore said it was no problem to get the same dresses) So we settled on a dress. Some of the members of the party went in separately to order the dress. One of the girls was complaining to a salesperson about how much she hated the dress. When my maid of honor came in a couple of hours later, the salesperson took it upon herself to gossip to my maid of honor about how much my other bridesmaid that came in prior to her was complaining about the dress! While there is no such thing as HIPPA violations in the world of dresses, I found this to be very unprofessional and catty. After finding out how much one of the girls hated the dress, i wanted to cancel the entire order. Now I have to mention that the dresses were not even ordered, and one of the girls was not even able to come in to try it on, I was charged 25$ cancellation fee per dress. I cancelled because of their sales staff's unprofessionalism, yet they still charged me a cancellation fee. Yes, it was on the receipt, but never explained or verbalized to me or to the girls. This whole episode would have been forgiveable had they waived the 25$ fee (I understand that the girls that work there are young and may on occasion have the tendency to say something inappropriate..not too much of a big deal) It is the policy of the store that bothered me. The other problem I had, was that the salesperson that helped us , told me that if we ordered the dress, measurements would have to be done by Saturday in order to rush deliver it. There were no specifications stated to me about times, so I was under the impression the girls would have friday evening and saturday morning to order (we had chosen the dress on the Wednesday. I found out Thursday (after 3 of the girls ordered) that the measurements would have needed to go in by Friday at 3:00. One of the girls would not have even been able to order the dress in time (she needed to go after 5:00 on Friday), making it impossible for the salon to even render services. Yet they are still charging me the 75$ cancellation fee. I wish i had listened to other people's advice about this salon. read more

My friend recently purchased her bridal gown here, along with 7 bridesmaids (including me) purchasing my dress here. They were helpful with finding the bridesmaid dress and picking it out. The courteous service ended there for the bridesmaids. First of all, they are incredibly overpriced. They nickel and dime you for every little thing bc they know you have no choice once you choose to buy the dress from them. I am 5'6", which is not that tall. I was told I would need xtra length and have to pay for it bc if I was wearing any heel the dress would be too short on me. Extra length adds 6". I ended up getting a 3" heel and there was still at least half a foot that had to be hemmed....meaning the xtra length was completely unnecessary! I initially disagreed with them about the xtra length but the girl measuring me insisted I purchase the xtra length. At the fitting I was told that the money would be refunded for the extra length and I wouldn't be charged for the hemming. At pickup, I was denied that refund and I was partially charged for the hemming. Charged for something that was THEIR mistake! Also, another alteration which they have listed as $30 they charged me $40 for. On top of this all, the seamstress was very rude to me all 3 times I dealt with her. I have a bizarre bra size. First she told me the dress was too big on me bc my bra was too big and the dress was too big bc my boobs weren't being pushed up so the dress was falling. I've been professionally measured for my bra size and I think I know what size I am! Next time, with the same bra and after the alterations were completed, when I tried the dress on she told me my bra was too small and that's why it didn't fit me right on top. Clearly they don't know what they're talking about. They refused to adjust it for me so I could wear the dress with a bra. So now I"m a girl with a 34DD chest going braless in a strapless gown bc it won't fit me with my bra on! Professional seamstresses should be able to alter a dress so that I can wear it with a bra. Also, when it came to paying, since I was told I was getting a refund bc of the length issue and then they didn't refund the money, I really had no idea what I was paying for. A professional business would give you an itemized bill with a breakdown of what you owe for what...not keep changing what I owe pulling numbers out their butt. Another bridesmaid, after checking with them 3 times about the size, they ordered her the wrong size. She put the dress on and it literally fell to the ground off of her it was so big on her. But NOOOO, they insisted she was an 8 when the girl is teeny tiny and the salon was called multiple times to double check their measurements. This place is bossy, rude, and they screw you in the financial department. If you need a dress you're better off going to a small store that cares about service and their customers and not about how to get every dime possible from you. read more

I don't know who everyone else dealt with but I had a FABULOUS experience with this boutique! While they are usually by appointment, we were walk ins. We told Nicole, the manager, we were from out of town and she squeezed us in. There was no squeeze about it. Nicole was AWESOME. She is so knowledgeable and does a great job listening. She took care of us even though we were there longer than store hours. We never felt rushed. Unlike other places that use those awful clips you buy in home improvement stores, which distort the look of the dress, Nicole took the time to pin me in each dress so I could really see how it would look. She even calmed my very opinionated mom and proved worthy in my seamstress grandma's eyes. Nicole has vision and taste. She found my dress for me and took the time to find the perfect veil to match! They even worked with us on the price. She wasn't pushy AT ALL. In fact she recommended I go home and sleep on it to make sure I was happy. The next morning we came back to buy the dress and, I believe her name was MaryAnn, was equally as helpful when it came to making adjustments to the veil and was honest about accessories. I never felt like they were just out to make a sale. They have a huge selection. I would recommend this place to EVERYONE. I was super excited when I saw a commercial for them on TLC. Do not buy a dress here. Yes , they have beautiful dresses, but designer dresses can be bought at other bridal stores. They screwed up fittings, my daughter bustle which cost an additional$150.00 broke after 5 minutes. I can't begin to tell you how many problems we experienced with this store. Brides beware! I came here for my 1st bridal dress appointment ever and was so un-impressed. First off, i was hardly greeted by the front desk person who had absolutely no personal skills and come to find out she was going to be the one helping me find my dress. Great start. Then she took 5 minutes to see if my dresses were in stock that i wanted to try on. She could not locate them and asked me several times if i was sure they were in stock. Well, the other saleswoman came over and informed her that it was already pulled for me. So i start trying on the dresses i came to try and she was pressuring me to get the 1st dress i tried on. I then told her i wanted to try others being that this is my 1st time trying on dresses and told her absolutely no lace. Well, everything she brought me was lace. The woman would not listen to my needs and kept bringing dresses that i did not want to try on and were out of my price range. Then she kept mentioning that i should just go with the 1st dress i tried on. When i told her i had to come back with my grandma she seemed annoyed that i wasn't going to buy anything that day. Then we went back to the front desk and she tried to pressure me into setting up a follow-up appointment. I told her no and left with absolutely no intention of ever coming back here! When they called to confirm her appointment, they did not have any allure couture at this store and it was at the Carle Place store. Bridal Reflection of Massapequa was the first and last place I visited to find my wedding gown. Upon arrival at the salon my mother, sister and I were greeted by my consultant, Jody. Jody was warm, professional, knowledgeable, and just all around FANTASTIC. I tried on between 8 and 10 dresses (mostly Eve of Milady- Outstanding you must try one on). Even though the first dress I tried on ended up being- MY DRESS. Jody and other staff members offered their honest opinion and made trying on every dress just as exciting as trying on the first. Skeptical that this process couldn't be that easy I went home that evening without a dress. The next morning I had two more bridal appointments. After the second appointment I knew I wasn't going to find anything close to what Jody had shown me. I called the store and asked if I could come in this time without an appointment. Jody told me to come right over. She took her time with me and let me retry on the dress that I knew I already loved. I even tried a few more to be certain that that's the dress I wanted. Today at your massapequa location, was a brides worst nightmare. My wedding is March 26th. I went there today because I had some concerns about my dress. As I was putting my dress on, my mother and the owner, Roslynn, were having words. Then it escalated. I was in such shock that this woman (Roslynn) was being so rude and condescending. She clearly saw my mother was upset so instead of helping the situation she enticed it even more. Roslynn failed to understand that this was NOT my mothers wedding, it's MINE. She was doing business with me, NOT my mother. Shortly after that they had almost ripped my dress off of me. I had nothing to do with this escalated argument. She threatened to call the cops and preceded to say she wasn't doing business with my mother, again Roslynn was doing business with me, not my mother. She went into her office and came back out with a check she handed to my mother. With that my mother said she wants the money back for the bridesmaids dresses. She at first refused to give my bridesmaid their money back and told us to take her to court, then said she would refund the money if they called because she had a contract with them. I found that ironic because Roslynn failed to understand when she took it upon herself to refuse to do business with me. This is the SAME THING. YOU HAD A CONTRACT WITH ME!!!!! MY WEDDING IS IN FIVE MONTHS. I am forced to go some where else and pay MORE money to have it shipped, if I'm even able to get this gown!!!! I am so upset and disgusted that I was treated like this. Im going to warn as many brides to never do business with you so they don't have to experience this horrible situation. This whole experience for me is ruined. I want to tell you how wonderful Bridal Reflections was with me. I went in for a fitting of my mother of the groom gown and I hated it. I started getting upset wondering will I do now , four weeks before he wedding. There was no way I was going to even take that dress home. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. They worked with me to find me a new gown , which could be available on short notice. I found something I loved and it will be in before the wedding. It was more expensive , however they just made it an even exchange. They told me that no customer ever leaves the store unhappy. They were being 100% honest. I was so excited to begin dress shopping for my wedding in June 2016 and Bridal Reflections was my first choice. Originally, I was put on the waiting list because they were booked solid. I was super excited when Allie called me to tell me someone cancelled and there was availability to come it. (Allie was really nice) This is where my excitement ends. 45 Minutes after my scheduled appointment was supposed to begin, the Saleswoman finally came over. Her name was Darnell. (Yes, a white woman named Darnell) She absolutely ruined my experience and made me cry in the dressing room. I filled out a form when I got there stating my price point and what kind of dresses I was interested in. Darnell glanced at it and asked me again so I repeated it. She then proceeded to pull dresses for me that were double my price point. When I told her I didn't want to try them on she stated that if I could come up on my budget she could come down and "meet me in the middle" but couldn't give me a number when I asked. I told her no but she made me try the dress on anyway and walk out to show my Family and friends. When I asked again about the Maggie Sottero dresses she told me she couldn't help me unless I knew the names of the particular dresses that I wanted to try on. I pointed out to her that I was very specific in the style of the dress that I wanted and I didn't understand why she couldn't help me. Her response was to tell me to get dressed and go downstairs to pull my own dresses... what!?!? umm.. that's your job!!! I grabbed my Maid of Honor and the two of us went downstairs and started pulling dresses for me to try on. We pulled 6 at which point Darnell told us that she wasn't taking the dresses upstairs and that we were running out of time. She suggested that I try the dresses on down in the basement and if they were nice, I can walk upstairs and show the rest of my party. My Maid of Honor and I just looked at each other and grabbed the dresses to bring them upstairs. (again, HER JOB!!!). As Darnell is helping me into the first dress she starts talking to me about how Maggie Sottero is such a difficult designer and it takes 9-10 months for her dresses to come in and she is worried that I'm not going to have my dress in time because I shouldn't forget I need a couple of months for alterations. At this point, I turned around to her and bluntly asked her point blank if there was any particular reason she seems to be trying to disuade me from trying on these dresses. When we were getting ready to leave, My maid of honor went to the bathroom and on the way back she heard Darnell talking about us up front at the reception desk. When Darnell saw her she immediately stopped and walked away. Brides Beware of this place!!! Of all the unprofessional and not to mention rudest people. Darnell should re-think her career choice.. Bridal Reflections has lost a lot of business from me as I was also going to go there for Bridesmaids dresses. I walked into this place and was hopeful about finding a dress based on how pretty and big it was inside (hoping they had a lot to choose from). I also heard a good review from a friend. Boy, was I wrong. This place is like a wedding dress factory! My consultant called my named and I walked up to the desk and she asked me my likes and dislikes. I showed her some pictures and told her about some dress styles and fabrics I liked that I tried at other stores. She proceeded to pull a few dresses and returned in about 30 seconds. None of these dresses were the style I liked. She was rude and pushy and insisted that based on my body type that I needed a "drop waist" and that wasn't in right now so I would "get frustrated dress shopping." The dress she was trying to push on me had a nice shape but it had this tacky gold beading on it that looked trashy. I felt like she was pushing dresses that she liked on me, not what I liked on myself. Not only was the consultant unfriendly, she didn't listen to what I wanted as the bride and basically told me there was no hope to find a wedding dress that would look good on my body. I'm not fat, I happen to just have really big girls up top. Even if I had found "the dress" at this place, I wouldn't give them my money based on the consultants snotty attitude. I'm so confused by the negative reviews here! I was nervous about coming here after reading about the horrible experiences by some of the other Yelpers, but I had such a wonderful consultant...Nicole! She was incredibly sweet and patient. She showed me a ton of dresses and really took her time during our appointment. It actually ran long, over an hour! I didn't buy anything that day, but will definitely request Nicole again when it comes time to purchase! read more

I went here over the weekend to help my best friend pick out bridesmaid dresses for her wedding. There were 5 of us in our group which I worried would be a big crowd in the store but it worked out fine. It was very crowded when we first came in but they gave us our own area with three dressing rooms and it was great. The saleswoman gathered the dresses my friend had looked at before our visit, and when those didn't work they let us search around the store to find other options. When we found dresses we liked, the saleswoman brought back other dresses that were similar that we may not have seen. She was really helpful and attentive considering how busy the store was! At the end of our session she brought fabric swatches so we could see what color the dresses we liked came in and wrote the style numbers down so we could remember them for the future. This place greatly exceeded my expectations. read more

I had a wonderful experience from the minute I walked in to the very ending. Darnell was my bridal consultant and she was great. So patient and very nice to me and my family. I gave her my budget and she made sure to stay in budget. I am plus size so I was very worried I was not going to have a great experience. I was able actually able to try on dresses and see how they would look on me. I was even able to say YES TO THE DRESS!!!! I was even under budget with the dress that I picked. My only regret is that I completely forgot to get a picture with Darnell. read more

I went to this location after going to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place. I am looking for a Mother of the Groom gown. I've been to several Bridal shops and kept coming out empty handed. I didn't need an appointment here for this type of gown. Brielle greeted me. She was terrific and very professional. Very nice. Very easy to work with. She was very attentive. I found my gown right away. I had an alteration question. She brought in their seamstress right away, and I got a quick answer. I was promptly measured, and Brielle ordered my gown. The whole process was very quick and easy. I left very satisfied. Would highly recommend. read more

Honestly this place is a joke. I went there to get bridesmaids dresses for my wedding party. Each dress they have one of and its in one color so you cannot tell what it would look like in the color you want. We ended up hoping the color would look right and ordered the dresses. So far 3 of my bridesmaids went there and all of the dresses were too small and need to be taking out. My bridesmaids have not gained weight, the place measures incorrectly but then does not take responsibility for their actions. DO NOT BUY anything from here. read more

If I could give 0 Stars, I would. I echo everyone who says to stay far away from this place - it is not worth your time or your money. My girlfriend who is getting married in a couple of weeks, took us here to get our bridesmaid dresses months ago. That initial experience was fine, the girls working there seemed overwhelmed, but I guess that is the nature of the business. There were 4 of us picking out dresses and it seemed like a simple transaction - same designer, same color, same length, same material, just different tops. We all got measured that day and put the deposits down for the dresses. In April the bride got a call that our dresses were in. I went to pick up my dress and one of the other girls dress. Hers was fine, mine was a totally different dress - different length, different material, etc. when I saw them place my name on that dress, I explained that that was not the dress I ordered - here is where the experience went from "meh" to just "terrible" - one of the ladies tried to convince me that that was the dress I ordered and asked me to really try and remember. I got aggravated after about 10min of her trying to convince me and finally explained I NEVER would have ordered a dress like this when all the other dresses were a specific material and length. Finally, I found the dress on the rack that I had ordered, they said they would place a rush and follow up with me on Monday of that following week to confirm when I should expect it. The following week came and I received no phone call, so I followed up with them. They told me I could expect it first week of June and they would call me then. The MOH went to pick up her dress during this time and it was also the wrong dress - however, she wound up keeping it because it was the same material and length and didn't trust a new one would get here in time. First week of June came and I didn't hear, so I again, followed up with them and was told they expect it the following week and would call me when it comes in. That week came and again no phone call. So I followed up with them yet again and was told they called the bride and let her know my dress was in....why would you call the bride when you've been telling me you'd reach out to me? But I shouldn't have been surprised since their promised follow up was non existent this entire time. So they had indeed called the bride, who told me that she expressed to them how busy she was, her wedding is in 2 weeks, and could they call me. They said yes. They didn't call me, I had to call them. When I went to pick up the dress, they offered me free alterations - I explained I would take it somewhere else. Not once did they take ownership, apologize or act with any understanding. They told me I had a remaining balance which I paid and left. For a business that is 100% Client facing and whose main objective should be creating positive experiences, they are failing hard. I am getting married next year and will be steering clear of this place for mine and my bridesmaids dresses. read more

I decided to have bridal reflections take care of my alterations since I purchased the dress there and I figured they would know what they were doing. I tried it on and there were lots of problems. I got increasingly more upset when they tried to convince me that, no it was fine and this was the best they could do. Then all of a sudden, something changed and they said to come back again. I went back again, and it still looked bad but they could not help me. I felt ganged up on and helpless. I wish I had gone elsewhere. read more
