The worst, they should be cancelled from business and cigna. I have a dental plan dhmo that apparently only applies to chain dentist which are scams. I went to have them look over a tooth I need pulled which is free under my plan, they told me it would cost approx 800.00 since it needed a specialist. This is bullshit since my husband had some pulled for 22.00 under our insurance. I asked if I could get free teeth cleaning while there they said I need a better one which would cost 100.00. I accepted but they did not do a deep clean, it was worst then the free one, horrible and only 5 min. I was there for over 3 hrs for nothing, waiting around for them to lie. I went to a dentist not under my plan and it only cost 300.00. Stay away horrible place and dentist, whoever runs should be put in jail! Pay attention to dentists name since they go from cheap chains to the next. Dishonest place. For the amount of time you wait around you can go to the schools for free as well. Additional after my experience: I sent my son up to get the free cleaning, they tried to sell him everything, even irrigator for teeth. He has very good teeth and is young. They tried to take advantage of him. Then when he did not buy they came back after 3.5 hrs and told him the dentist could not clean his teeth and he had to come back another day. The provider didn't introduce themselves had to ask, never saw anyone perform hand hygiene between patients (they switched gloves, but that's not the same. I haven't even made it into my appointment and already having a bad experience, I been rescheduled 4 TIMES! First time they said it was because they closed at 5pm yet everywhere else says 6pm, but they scheduled me for 5:15. ok so they moved me up to 4pm for same day, 15 min later call back that they need me to be there at 2pm because the Dr is leaving early, so I get moved to next appointment available they scheduled me for another day 4pm, day of appointment get another call that the Dr stops taking appointments at 3! Mind you it's not even a day notice it's a few hours before appointment, we scheduled appointments that fit our schedules after making rearrangements for these appointments, it's so frustrating that they don't take in consideration that we also have a schedule we have to work around. read more

Instead, I was talked into $1,000 worth of services I didn't actually need--and never even got the cleaning I originally came in for. They set me up on a payment plan in-office, which I've been paying, but their corporate billing office still calls me five times a day demanding full payment. It turns out the office never communicated my payment plan to corporate billing, leaving me stuck in a frustrating loop with no resolution in sight. Adding to the frustration, there's no direct number to the Hurst location--all calls are routed to an offshore call center that refuses to connect patients to the actual office. Now, I'm stuck in billing chaos and worried I'll be sent to collections for services I never needed in the first place. Very shoddy business practices. I went to Brident as I had an issue with a tooth. Myself and son have been patients of Brident for about 8 months and have had to go back for them to fix work that they had done a couple of times. On this instance, Brident said that I needed a partial and signed me up with a finance company for $700. Although I didn't feel like I was heard or that there was something else wrong agreed. After having a feeling of something was not right for 3 days, decided to get a second opinion else where, went and canceled the work with Brident. I was told that all work was canceled. The 2nd dentist find a serious issue that Brident overlooked with my tooth. After 6 weeks of being shuffled from 1 department to another, being told mis information and never receiving any partial that I canceled before the work was started have been told that the $700 won't be refunded that I am still responsible for. I am very disheartened that any business would just blantenently rip someone off. read more

We came to this location for the pediatric service,since this place was covered by our insurance. When we booked the appoinment online the call center told us that everything looks good on our insurance and was able to get the appointment. When we reached there , the front office said that my son cannot be seen until we call the insurance and give their name as primary care provider.It took us almost 2 hours to fix that issue.We told the doctor about the issue we were having and his teeth needs to be pulled out.They did the X-ray few times (even though we already have given them the clear 3D xray).They said they have to have their own.The tech that took the X-ray was very incompetent.She did not know what she was doing.The doctor then said he cannot do anything and I have to get another appointment with the pediatric dentist .We got second appointment and the pediatric doctor said she is not able to do anything because it needs to be performed in the morning. she said this treatment needs to be done in two sessions and we agreed on the amount they provided us.we went fo the third appointment taking the day off from school only to figure out that they did not put the appointment in the system. They took another hour just to figure out our appointment. The treatment was done and we went for the 2nd session.They did the filings but did not fix the original issue that we actually went for.After,discussing and wasting our time they pulled the teeth out.Now the fun part begins,we started to get calls from their call centers stating that we owe then $165 dollars.we explained them that it was done in two sessions and everything was paid.They were very rude and are like parrots keep repeating the same thing.Do you want to pay cash or card??We spoke to the manager and she said it was mistake at their end and she will fix it,but it never got fixed for a month.The call center kept harassing us every 1 hour.We had to go to the actual location to see what was going on. The lady at the front said it has to be fixed by the manager (Tessa) and she is out for two weeks.We really had a bad experience at this location.They are always overbooked and incompetent workers at the front desk.If you confront them their answer is I don't even work here ,I am just helping. The worst Dental Clinic on the Planet hands down. I walked out the last time as the lady taking my X-rays shoved the plastic trays in so hard she drew blood. I asked her to slow down and realize I have very few teeth on the bottom and being fitted for a partial. and I need a second to bite down. I had to ask her to be nice and she just said I needed to calm down so incredibly unprofessional and just flat out mean. She led me to the dentists chair and grabbed me to take my BP. I had to just give myself permission to get out of that place. So! Found a new Dentist! Who after examining me says who did your dental Work? I said BRIDENT. She put me where I could see on camera she could show me the shoddy work. Dentists filled 5 cavities with the wrong material, did not seal their work and there was pitting and rough edges everywhere. Decay reappearing around the edges and all work had to be redone. Then I had to explain why I was submitting invoice to Humana for the Same teeth I had worked on less than a year ago. They have been reported to the Dental Board of Examiners in Austin Texas. I had an interview with Humana demanding they not be allowed to provide dental care for anyone. My new Dentist says these are basic dental Skills. In addition The front desk is not interested and they are unfriendly and rude. Office manager has been new every time I go there. You cannot make an appt. Unless you go in person. I have been cancelled out several times. If I could leave 5 piles of dung instead of stars I would easily do that. One dentist who worked on me talked as though I wasn't even there complaining about the place to another dentist. Run away from this place. This one is in HURST Texas on Precinct line Rd. My friends have had similar nightmares at other offices. The staff is still in training or just go wherever needed. They will never see you again and they don't care even a little. I came into Brident Dental for a routine teeth cleaning. I waited 45 minutes in the back for anyone to check on/do my cleaning. Finally someone came... and what do you know ... it was the lady to let me know my financial responsibility for the visit would be and to try to con me into an electric toothbrush bundle. When the hygienist came out of hiding (lone behold seconds after the finance/sales lady) the "cleaning" began. The hygienist began to look at my teeth and coughed right into my mouth. I am not sure if she wanted to mix her saliva with mine or what she was doing. She didn't speak much English so I guess that's why she never apologized. Two days after my "cleaning" I was rushed to the hospital because I had a salivary gland infection. The ER doctor said my infection was due to my dental cleaning and he could tell that Brident did something to cause the infection in my mouth. He also said that the infection almost impacted my airways. I spent $3,000 from the teeth cleaning, to the ER visit. I sent Brident all the paperwork and the doctors written statement. They never refunded me or apologized to me. Please do not go to Brident. I pass by and see children walking in and I just want to yell "do not do it." There's plenty of other superior dentist out there to use. This place is trash. They don't sterilize their tools very well either. read more

Id like to update my review now that ive been dealing with this office for over a year.... Management has changed 4 times- so has the Orthodontist. The front office ladies are sweet but clueless, with every visit being new and different people. Automatic Payment issues have occurred and my acard was compromised , causing me to have to get a new card 3 times.... as we all know thats just so annoying to have to switch everything over to a new card 3 times. Now I pay in office to avoid that. Not to mention they are not transparent about prices . My plan is to RUN to a new provider as soon as the braces come off my child. read more

Called because I broke a tooth....pressed 6 for emergency appointment. They made me an appointment. Someone then called 10 min later asking if I can come an hour later than the appointment and letting me know that they don't do emergency appointments.....that this would be and appointment to discuss further treatment....WHAT THE WHAT? This place is horrible. I have never dealt with such incompetence and rudeness from a place of business. Canceled 3 appts on my 5 yr old after we already arrived. The manager is narcissist and disgustingly rude to not only me, but the prior patient. They literally canceled my poor son's appt because they were having a party at work and wanted to reschedule. I can't make this up. Rescheduling my son that i took out of school as they were hanging balloons and set up decorations in front of us. She literally tried to blame me and said they called. I brought in my three year old on two occasions, the first go round was a good experience and they were patient with her and made a follow up appointment to have her cavity treated. I informed Dr. Park and her assistant that I already had x-rays this year and my previous dentist would be happy to send the x-rays to her, but she refused to listen. She said she would not see me if I didn't have the x-rays by her, so I agreed to have x-rays but only if they were covered by my insurance. Her assistant proceeded with the x-rays. She also refused to do a simple teeth cleaning because she said I needed a deep cleaning. I told her it was not necessary to do a deep cleaning when I get my teeth cleaned every six month and have so for the past 50 years. She still refused to clean my teeth unless I agree to her deep cleaning. The deep cleaning was not covered by my insurance. Therefore, I left and received zero treatment. It was a complete waste of time and now I have to wait another 6 months before I can see another dentist and actually get my teeth cleaned by someone who isn't about gouging the patient. As a nurse, I have never been so appalled at the way I was treated. I do NOT recomment Brident Dental for any body, unless you have money to burn because that is all they care about, the money, not the patient. read more

Katelyn is the new officer manager and she's really trying hard to turn this location around. She's doing great so far and I'm so thankful. I previously removed my family as patients because of the poor service and when I say poor, I mean POOR. I was so stressed when dealing with them and transferred my whole family to a different company. After speaking with Katelyn recently, she was able to convince me to give them another chance. Had an appointment 2 months ago, showed up, apparently there was some insurance problem and they refused to see me. No one called me before I showed up at my appointment time to tell me there was a problem. Rescheduled for another appointment last week: Appointment was for 4:00. Saw the dentist from 5:10-5:24. Was told I will have to make another appointment to get an actual cleaning. This is called upcharging and it is insurance fraud. There is no other reason to charge for 2 appointments instead of one, when the dentist interacted with me for a whole 14 minutes. Here's why Brident sucks so badly: In the waiting room, the receptionist yelled to me across the waiting room about my appointment instead of calling my name and waiting for me to walk to the counter. I wanted an hour and 10 minutes to see the dentist. The X-ray tech had a neck tat. The X-ray process was painful. I have never had a painful X-ray before this. No privacy - Brident does not have individual rooms for dental care. Everyone receives their service in a large room with several dental chairs. Dentist never told me his name, I have no clue which dentist I saw. Immediately when the dentist finally came to the chair, he told me to stick my tongue "far out," then wrapped a piece of gauze around my tongue and moved it side to side. That is so uncomfortable to have your tongue wrapped in a dry piece of gauze. Also, I have no idea what the purpose of this could possibly be. The dental assistant and dentist had a conversation about my weight.... IN. FRONT. OF. ME. While I was in the chair. Seriously? Dentist sat behind me when talking to me so had to do a nearly impossible neck swivel to be able to see him with 1 eye or just not look at him while he was talking. Dentist said I have a cavity, but walked away before showing me where. When asked if he would show me, obvious irritation. Dentist kept mask on while talking, mumbled, and spoke very quickly which made it very difficult to understand him. UPDATE: Brident called me to make an appointment for a cleaning, so I did. TODAY, the DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT, they just called to tell me that they have someone scheduled at the same time and will not be able to see me at that time. Appointment rescheduled for 3 weeks from now. Will update review after the appt. UPDATE: went in to my appointment scheduled 3 weeks out. When I went in they told me that the wait is really long right now and I may or may not actually be able to get the cleaning I have scheduled due to the wait. I hate this place. read more

ZERO STARS I called my insurance to make sure another dental cleaning was covered before the end of the year because I am having a very busy January and February and wanted to get my medical appointments taken care of. My insurance assured me it was covered.  So I call Brident to make an appointment specifically for just a cleaning.  I show up for my scheduled dental cleaning appointment. And the receptionist Raven tells me the appointment is for exam only. I told her I specifically made the appointment for a cleaning only, and she was rude and says I didn't because that is not what is scheduled. I told her I could not help that the appointment person scheduled the wrong appointment when I specifically stated I wanted a DENTAL CLEANING APPOINTMENT ONLY. She then tells me since I was there in July it hasn't been a full 6 months yet and they won't do it. I explained to her my insurance covers it and a cleaning is what I made the appointment for to begin with. Why did they make my appointment and then have me miss work today to tell me they won't do it, even though my insurance covers it. She then said she goes and asks Dr Patel about it and says it is their policy to do cleanings only after 6 months has passed.  Do they not want business. This is horrible business practices and a huge waste of my time and money by me missing work today for this frustration. I will never visit a Brident again.  By the way I shouldn't of even bothered because my last appointment in July went pretty horribly too. I showed up 30 minutes early and waited over an hour past my appointment time. I finally get called back and they do the xrays which also take forever.  Then they tell me they dont have time to do the cleaning that day because the dental tools aren't sanitized. So they have me schedule another appointment for that which is really frustrating to take up even more of my time. This location and their scheduling practices need a lot of help. read more

They over schedule and the dr that does ortho will change every other visit., they do not keep you up to date with your status. I am now be threatened to have my braces removed or pay another $3000 to keep my braces on when my teeth now look worst than when I started. Overall my experience was good. I've only been here once. The staff were all friendly. The process was different that when I've been to a private dentist. It took about 1.5 hrs from the time I arrived until I left. They did not seem very busy while I was there, as there was no others in the waiting room when I arrived. It's always some kind of excuse with these guys. Scheduled an appointment for my wife, which they cancelled when she got there because they had a pediatric dentist scheduled only that day. Rescheduled, and they said it's going to be a long wait that day (due to some excuse... so why are you scheduling us?) so rescheduled again. Yesterday: my wife called to confirm her 8am appt. Today, she arrived to a note on the door that they're not going to open til 8:45. Knocked until someone answered, Ashley answered and claimed she called (no missed called on our phones). It seems it's usually Ashley mixing things up or making excuses. TL;DR: poorly run, have inconvenienced us enough, Ashley doesn't know what she's doing. Ivonne did all of my x-rays she was very gentle and explained as she went. Cayla helped me with all of my paperwork and went above and beyond to try to accommodate my crazy schedule. My daughter and I both use Brident. We love the dentists and the staff. We have the standard wait time that I usually experience at other places, and my insurance covers most everything. Absolutely do NOT go here. I finally had enough of this place and found an amazing new dentist. I will NEVER return here or any other Brident Dental establishments. They use a call center to set up all your appointments. You tell the call center what you are needing and 100% of the time when you go in they have no clue what your appointment is for. I've scheduled multiple teeth cleanings for myself and my family which were never completed because every time we went they didn't have time and it wasn't recorded. So we got x-rays, sent home and told to come back another day. Most staff was nice but you are only a number and a paycheck to this establishment. They care about nothing else. I had some treatments that were needed but was never even made aware of until I saw my new dentist. I knew there was an issue because I complained about sensitivity to cold water on one tooth. It was never addressed and was told it looks fine I'm more than happy to change to a new dentist that actually answers calls, scheduled appointments timely, correctly & is actually helpful. The front staff is rude. The office is not clean. I can not tell you how many brackets have fallen off my child's teeth. They have fallen off numerous times at the office just putting bands on. They have basically stopped all Saturday appts for ortho and will not work with you if your 6 week check up does not fall on a week that Saturday appts are available. They will not let you change offices, even though my kids braces are paid in full. Almost worth getting them to take the braces off and start somewhere else. I do not recommend Brident. I wish I had not gone with them. No visit other than the very first visit was good. So watch out for that. Stay away from this dentist. Go anywhere else. Anywhere is better than brident. read more

Where do I start? I initially set an appointment on February 6, 2020, for 4:15,4:30 and 4:45 for my kids and myself. The day of the appointment, I received a call from the front desk asking could we come at 4:00 because they stop doing appointments at 5 pm (but it says closes at 6) and our 4:45 appointment would be pushing it. I was a little disappointed because this is the time the person gave me when I first called to set up an appointment. Okay cool. They rescheduled us for today, which is February 15,2020, at 10:15. I get there at 10:05 am and was told they are running 30 minutes behind, and I was handed my paperwork to fill out. I gets done with the paperwork at 10:45. I was then told we would have to WAIT another 45 MINUTES. I asked why is that because our appointment was at 10:15. If we have to wait 45 more minutes, that's almost noon; I was told we could not been seen until our paperwork was put in the system and that takes 45 minutes. I have never heard of that ever. I eventually got fed up and canceled all three appointments. I was then told they only have one provider, so that's why the wait was long , but we were the only ones sitting there. Then I was told its better to come on Wednesday. Like this would be my second schedule. This place is awful, and I will never come back. I will take my business else were. read more

The reason I say every time I "went", I had an appointment set for a whole month, and they call me the day before my appointment to say my insurance is no longer covered with them.
