Took a week and a half to get my car fixes. No urgency at all. Kept chanvging dates as when it would be done. They changed my sensor on my car for the parking break and when I finally got my car back the time was wrong, as if they unhooked my battery, which was not necessary as it was my parking break not my battery! A HUGE shoutout to Bridge Auto Repair in West Ocean City, MD who came to our rescue this past week while vacationing in OCMD. Crossing the Route 50 Bridge I noticed my check engine light came on. I stopped in to see if they had time to check it out and they couldn't be any more accommodating. Luckily there was an Enterprise rental up the road so we got a truck !! for the overnight. Got a call at 10 AM the next day that my car was ready. Removed and replaced the solenoid/valve at a VERY reasonable price. We picked up a nail in our tire while in OCMD. After changing to our spare tire we drove to one shop that said he wouldn't even look at the tire to tell us what's next for at least 45 min. So we left there, proceeded to this shop where the gentleman was so friendly, helpful, applied a plug and had our fixed tire back on in under 30 minutes for $20!! This place was everything we needed and more. Friendly and positive attitude, quick service and cheap prices. Had a flat tire needing to go home from vacation and they fixed us up and had us back on the road in less than a half hour. They also had a CUTE puppy that we played with while waiting. I pulled in and asked the mechanic if I could use his air hose (which he was STANDING on) to put air in my tire and he directed me across the lot to use the pay hose which cost a dollar to use. I wouldn't have minded paying if the guy wasn't standing on a air hose three feet away from me. read more

Shoddy workmanship could have led to disaster! While visiting Ocean City car radiator starting leaking fluid. Tow truck driver recommended Bridge Auto Repair. They replaced radiator but failed to properly connect hose to transmission line. While driving the next day car suddenly slowed then stopped completely. Transmission fluid had leaked out! Had car towed back to Bridge Auto-- they fixed the problem but offered neither refund nor apology for their incompetence. Not only was a vacation day ruined but car could have been in a serious accident. Very disappointing service, to say the least! read more

For starters, I would simply advise against doing any business with this company at all. If you break down while on vacation, and expect to have your vehicle repaired in a timely fashion by professionals, make certain to visit any other shop on earth. here is a list of actual complaints: -went over budget (by a little) -Went over time (by two weeks) -Left both battery terminals (and bracket) loose. Wouldn't start after driving home. -Ownership cannot communicate simple information. (did not even call when work was completed) -Actually said to me the phrase "You pay, and you leave. That is how this works" -Broke body trim pieces on car, from improperly mounting on lift --Threatened to call state police when I asked to check out the vehicle before paying They're extremely unfriendly to non-locals, and are extremely rude to deal with. Many thanks to this auto repair shop for their kind assistance. I had picked up something in my tire and was afraid that I was going to have a big problem making the 3 hour trip home. They were so nice, and they quickly came out and removed the article from my tire and checked to see if it was losing any air. They sent me on my way with" Have a nice day " ! I was at OC on vacation and had a flat tire. After putting on the spare, I headed to Bridge Auto Repair which is AAA approved (I'm a AAA member). I thought I might have to wait a while for service, but the mechanic went to work almost immediately and did a very nice professional job of finding and plugging the hole in my tire. He then proceeded to put the tire back on the car (torquing it properly), put the spare back in place, and check the pressure in all 5 tires. I paid $22 for the service and was out of there within 20 minutes. Both the mechanic and the lady at the counter were very helpful. I was quite impressed with the prompt courteous service and guess things must have changed since the older reviews were posted. read more
