Loved the vibe, loved the coffee, highly recommend. Cute local gem with outstanding food and drink. From the menu to the art, I truly enjoyed spending time in the location. Easy to find, plenty of parking. The service was fantastic and parking was super easy. Clean, warm, welcoming - all the things you'd look for! I tried the egg Benedict crepe and the pumpkin latte with ghost pepper whip. Delicious! I'd get them both again however I'd also look forward to trying all the other fun flavors and combinations on their menu. Go - you won't be disappointed.

I love stopping here for both coffee and food! They always have full tables so it's clear that it's well loved by the community and travelers. There are also a bunch of live plants and antique-like decor, while still feeling like a modern space. They have a lot of creative drinks to choose from and they food always hits the spot! I often think of their staple, tomato bisque soup with cornbread - which is incredible. The staff are kind and they get your order to you in a timely manner! This is a great stop for to-go orders or to dine in and socialize.

Bridge Street is a must stop when in Chippewa Falls. The inside is cute with plenty of seating and tables large enough for groups. This is the place to be so fair warning if you're going on a Saturday/Sunday morning, there will be a line but it goes fast. I got the egg breakfast with avocado toast and fruit. The avocado toast tasted like it had olive oil or some sort of addition rather than straight avocados which was not my favorite. However the eggs and fruit were great. We also got the bill dog sandwich which was outstanding. There was an extensive and creative drink menu, so there's definitely something for everyone.

We decided to stop by because the continental breakfast at our hotel only had decaf coffee. This place was busy. It was Sunday morning. There were so many choices we got out of line and back in again before we ordered. I had an iced mocha with raspberry. My husband had a cold brew. There were so many baked goods to choose from and we decided on a pistachio chocolate chip muffin. It was really good. It was bright and clean with a decent amount of seating inside and out. There were people who just came by for takeout and some relaxing and enjoying their morning. We were definitely glad we stopped by.

Seems like a pretty popular place. Lots of people on a Wednesday morning after a holiday, but no queue to speak of. We stopped in on our way through town because of the reviews. We didn't get any food but did get a decaf latte and a drip coffee. People must really like it but for us it was just okay. Coffee tastes like Starbucks.

Found this place on yelp. Wanted a good coffee and light lunch before our long drive home. I choose this place. The drink menu is short and simple- they had a "specials" drink menu which was super creative! One of the drinks was a tea latte with GLITTER on top Love it! Our mochas were good and the sandwiches were fresh, fast, and healthy like we wanted. Nice price range as well. Glad we stopped in.

This is a cool little coffee shop located in Downtown Chippewa Falls with a huge (and tasty) seasonal drink menu. We decided to try the Pumpkin Carving (a pumpkin spice latte, we got it with oat milk) and the Apple Picking (a spiced cider). Both were super yummy, get-ready-for-fall drinks. We also had the avocado toast, which was HUGE and also quite tasty. Service was fast, and there is a bunch of free parking on the street. Definitely worth getting off the highway for a pick-me-up when you are passing through!

Nice location with good coffee and food but nothing special. Not that much else to say. The 4:30 has better coffee and food. I recomend there instead

Was staying nearby and starving for a good breakfast so found this place through yelp and man, it was everything I wanted & more. When I came in it was super busy which was a good sign. Food was super delicious and they gave good portions; service was great, the people who work at the cafe are really sweet; nice ambiance with a good amount of seating. Their coffee is very good. If in the area again, definitely will be back.

An Eau Claire local raved about this spot and I'm pleased to say that Nostalgic Bean lived up to…read morethe hype! I came in on a Sunday morning and there was a little line of people ahead of me but it moved pretty quickly! Interior-wise, there isn't a ton of space for seating but luckily, there are plenty of tables/chairs at The Yard Container Park that's ~40 second walk from the bakery. I got the strawberry passionfruit cruffin, chocolate almond croissant, lavender vanilla shortbread, and a latte with sugar-free caramel. First off, I was very impressed with the variety of flavors that were displayed (i.e. passionfruit, rhubarb, cardamon, kimchi, etc.) All the baked goods I got were fantastic- especially the cruffin. I was initially hesitant to order it because I'm not a fan when the exterior doesn't have that flakey/crunchiness. But I'm glad I tried the one here because the texture was perfect. As for the filling, it was a good balance of sweet and tart. Same thing for the croissant. When I ate the cruffin, I already knew the croissant was about to hit- and it did. Perfectly flakey and had that beautiful crunchy exterior. They definitely didn't skimp on the chocolate/almond filling either! Personally, it was a little too much for me but that's just a me thing Last but not least, the lavender vanilla shortbread was wonderful. You can actually taste the lavender and they added a perfect amount of salt to bring the flavors out! Aside from the delightful pastries, the coffee was lovely and the staff were super friendly. Nostalgic Bean is definitely a Altoona gem!

I'm so excited we got to stop by and try things. The service was very friendly and prompt. I had…read morethe everything seasoning and cream cheese croissant which was really flavorful and had great texture. The kids inhaled the homemade blackberry pop tart. Chai latte was delicious, not too sweet, not too spicy and I love the variety of steamers available for kids. They even offered to make them kid temp! Space was cozy and had plenty of tables when we went (10am weekday).

The corn beef frappe was good so was the Monte Cristo but they were just good not great. Both had melted cheddar - not a fan. The pie was much better. My family really liked it. At first glance it's a diner with a pie case but check the menu for some unlikely finds. The Wisconsin Reuben was delicious, loaded with thick corned beef and lots of butter and sauerkraut so you didn't even need the thousand island. I wasn't sure how a Reuben would be without rye but the cranberry wild rice bread was the real star of the sandwich. The corned beef hash was a bit salty but I'll take homemade over the canned stuff any day! I had to try a side of their sausage gravy because my southern roots demand it, and I can say it's a decent attempt with good amount of black pepper and sausage flavor. They have an extensive case of pies which were tempting but we were full from lunch. We ended up loving the bread so much that we took a whole loaf home. Service was friendly which was a relief considering we ended up coming in at 2:20 when they close at 3. Next time in the area I definitely want to try the pie and maybe a smelt wrap made with lefse!
