I told him exactly what the issue was, to bypass the bit locker. He didn't need to diagnose it. I was told the repairs would take a week. One week passes, I get no call or update. I called and was told that it was a lot of work and he needs another week. Another week passes, I hear absolutely nothing, no follow-up call from the company. I called 2x more and was THEN told that they are really busy and backed up and needed another week. Another week....is all I could get from him as an update. Its been 1 month and a full week and he still never fixed it, nor did he ever call me to provide an update. I finally had had it and went to pick up my laptop and not use his business. He had taken some time to even locate my laptop when we asked for it back. I should have been more aware when I came there, as the store is literally stuffed from front door to the back and ceiling with electronics, in disarray and barely any space to walk in there. I should have been told at drop off how backed up they were, that it would take a while to even get to my laptop from the start. Had I known that, I never would have left it there to begin with. They also refused to give my $40.00 deposit back. Im guessing they need it more than I do. I do not, recommend this business at all. Unprofessional and deceitful regarding repair time frames and never reaching out to give me an update, not once.

SmartZone is not a smart place to go to get your iPhone repaired based on my experience. First…read morethey said they are authorized technicians but when I asked where/who authorized them he ignored my question and changed the subject. Next when I dropped my phone of with them, they said it would be done in 3-4 hours but on the phone they said it would be done in 30 mins. I called at 1pm and was there at 1:15pm. How could it go from 30 mins to 3-4 hrs in 15mins, something doesn't add up to me. Finally, when I got my phone back everything seemed ok at first. After using it for an hour or so, I kept trying to get these little hairs and dust particles off the screen. When they wouldn't come off I realized they were under the glass and can't be gotten too. Additional my center bottom button didn't work every time. So I called SmartZone about this and they said there isn't anything they can do about it unless I pay to have to screen replaced again. This was the final straw for me; I found one of the other mobile repair companies and met up with them the same day. When they opened up my phone in front of me and point out and showed me my phone was missing parts (i.e. some shields and screens). In the end the mobile repair company got my phone fixed and I want to thank them for being honest and straight forward with me. Both things I feel were missing for SmartZone. So needless to say I will never go to SmartZone again nor will I ever recommend them to anyone. Please anyone thinking about taking your phone here for any reason DON'T. Do a little more searching, there are many other companies that have better customer service and offer more services. Some are even mobile and will meet you somewhere or come to your offices or home.
