I had water damage on my laptop, and Michael took the time to thoroughly inspect and diagnose the issue. His expertise really shines through, and his quick turnaround time--just 2-3 days--was impressive. The diagnostic fee is $75 in cash (there is a small card fee, so it's worth bringing cash if you'd like to save a little), but it's totally worth it for the level of service you get. My repairs were $200 total so it was very reasonable. One thing I really appreciate is his customer-first attitude. After fixing my laptop, I ran into a minor issue, and Michael was quick to address it, honoring the 30-day warranty without hesitation. He genuinely cares about helping people and providing top-notch service. I highly recommend Michael for anyone needing computer repair--he's skilled, professional, and truly dedicated to making sure his customers are happy.

Brought my laptop in to have a new keyboard installed, during this visit the repair shop attempted to upsell me on virus removal as well. Pricing is rather high, especially for certain repairs such as virus removal that can be easily done at home. Repair time took two months; delays were largely a result of the incorrect part being shipped twice, blame being put on the parts provider, but it felt like progress was made on the repair only after contacting them about it. When I received my laptop back, I found I had been upgraded to Windows 11 without my consent, despite the repair having nothing to do with the Operating System. Despite that, I was happy with the repair... until two months later, when I discovered that the whole back cover for my laptop was sliding off because the 5 screws holding it in place (3 internal, 2 external) were completely missing. When contacted, the repair shop denied all responsibility despite stating previously that the whole laptop had to be taken apart for the repair, and was very passive aggressive in shifting the blame onto me and claiming it would be a new repair to have it fixed. All in all, save yourself the frustration and look elsewhere.

This store is OK. It's mostly your typical office depot,…read morewith lots of supplies, furnishings, electronics, and extra items like snacks, water, and sundries. I usually like to purchase some red ink pens as the store brand are my favorites. Stop by if you'd like to pick up a desk lamp, some legal pads, a pack of dry-erase markers, a twix bar, a container of cleaning spray, a cheesecake factory gift card, or a 24- pack of Office Depot-branded bottled water... in case you really want to show off at work. But I still recommend the red Office Depot-branded ink pens, you can't beat those with a stick! (Actually, you could. But why would you? They're awesome!)

If you're planning to print from your phone, you'll need to email your documents to their system rather than sending directly from your device. There are instructions at the print station, but you should expect to handle most of the process on your own. I did ask a few questions at the counter. The associate initially seemed a little short, but became more helpful once I started asking specifics and pointed me in the right direction. One thing to note: faxing is priced per page (I was quoted $2/page), which felt a bit high for me, so I ended up skipping that service. Overall, I was able to get my printing done, but just be prepared for a more DIY experience if you stop in.

It's not luck at all but a little research on Yelp that paid off nicely on locating PC Rehab…read more Thanks to two Elite reviews by friends Lance and Pat my old lap top runs great and my son has a "like new" computer to use for school. There is a lot of demand for PC repairs and locating the right one makes all the difference in the world. When I rolled up on PC Rehab they had great signage in a strip mall by a Farm Fresh Grocery. The lot, sidewalks and store front were clean and attractive. I walked in the store and was greeted by the owner Drew. The business was clean and presented well to customers. The workshop is semi visible in the rear. I discussed repair of my six year old Lenovo that had become bug ridden and needed an updated operating system. I agreed to have the system completely cleaned off which waived a diagnostic cost of around $25. Within 24 hours I got a call back from Drew that he had installed a new operating system with upgraded software and that is was running perfectly. I headed back to the store and my lap top was setting on the counter for pick up. The price for repair and install of new software was very fair. When I got home, turned on my laptop it indeed operated like it was just out of the box. The computer ran so smoothly that I was flabbergasted. Better yet, my son now has a computer he can use for his middle school classes. I think he was more over joyed than me and used it day one with not a single hitch. The professionalism and expertise by PC Rehab was amazing. In an industry where the consumer can easily be taken advantage of, or most likely have inept labor conducting repairs this was completely refreshing. I am already planning on taking another computer in soon. Thank you Drew...

So, I came to yelp to find a computer repair shop and PC Rehab was relatively close and well rated. I took it in on a Friday around 10 am and got the call that it was done around noon. They had it back to me with no problems and running great again. The only reason I knocked them down a star was the price. When I dropped it off, I was told the diagnostic was $50 and when I picked it up the total came to $99. Given what I was told was the problem (replace CMOS battery that is maybe five bucks), a $49 charge beyond the diagnostic fee seems a bit high. In addition, I was not given a detailed receipt showing what each service costs. To be fair, however, I didn't ask. The service was fast and efficient and I take some of the blame for not asking more questions on the details of the charges. I would recommend, however, if anyone from PC Rehab reads this, to offer a detailed receipt for work done. All told, I would definitely return to these guys because they clearly know their stuff.

There was no way to remove the battery & stop the beeping. The display indicated it had reached the end of its life. Everything I found in research was for units whose battery could be replaced. FINALLY I found a Reddit post for the same model which detailed how to stop the beeping. Whewww.,.... The next step was to find a location that would accept it for recycling since it couldn't be disposed of with regular trash. The city, even the 2nd Precinct Police Station, was absolutely no help. Finally.....I found this close business & it was still open. I called Mr. Fix, telling him what I had, and he confirmed that he would take this evil device that had ruined my afternoon. The outside of the store was well maintained with nice signage & tasteful advertising on the windows. Entering the store I found a clean, neatly organized business with a friendly man behind the counter. He immediately knew who I was, probably from my still present vestiges of the continuous beeping stress. He immediately popped open the sealed compartment, removed the battery & cut out a capacitor. We discussed his personal projects that I know require soldering skills that are hard to find in today's generation. Having been in the electronics repair business for 25 years, I recognized him as someone who was competent in his skills & enjoyed electronics repair. Although my experience with the business was in electronics recycling I would feel comfortable with his working on my beloved iPhone & iPad. I'm happy that he will make use of the components in devices recycled with him (not in Phones or Tablets, of course). They won't end up in a garbage dump. The location is in the strip shopping center located on the southeast corner of the intersection on Pleasure House Road & Shore Drive. Parking is adequate. I found a space directly in front of the business. This is a business I would highly recommend for electronics recycling. From my observations of his care & work on the circuit board of the evil unit that I had abandoned, I would think he showed equal care on devices brought to him for repair.
