At that tome it was typical delta and nothing terrible. This time the property has been cleaned up and the staff member assisting us was so kind. Low tide, calm waters, air quality wasn't bad, and it was just a perfect experience. They've added a ramp for getting in and out of the kayaks which was so helpful to easily make the transition from dock to kayak and back. When we returned the staff member greater us and assisted me out. Then my MIL had a flair up of back pain and was unable to get out of the kayak. He helped us and was absolutely patient and so kind during this. He did not rush us off the dock to serve the next customers. This experience alone gives this business 5 stars.. everything else was a bonus. Thank you BBM! I will certainly be back!! (And so will my MIL once she's healed again).

Inventory has reportedly been reduced from 9 boats to 5, including only 2 surf boats, while pricing remains unchanged. At the same time, members are being asked to move to an "unlimited bookings" model that still limits usage to no more than 3 bookings per month!!! Last season alone, boats experienced issues ranging from failed ballast pumps and broken amps to damaged railings and inconsistent availability. Yet despite reduced inventory, aging equipment, and declining service levels, ownership appears intent on maintaining the same pricing without meaningful reinvestment. Anyone considering joining should do their homework, verify the facts independently, and speak with former members. Membership has reportedly fallen from 42 to 17 and continues to trend downward. That kind of decline does not happen without reason.

They close at 5 so all rentals have to be back by 4:30, which is really early when the sun is up til past 8... We called multiple times in advance and no one told us about this until we showed up at 11:30 and had no option but to keep our boat for only 3 hours (although we paid for 4). The paperwork and delivery of the boat took well over an hour (they gave our boat to someone else, so we had to wait for a new one to be pulled and put into the water. A lady at the front seemed to know this, the other lady clearly said "don't worry, they'll deal with this at the dock" to her. I'm sure if she had warned the dock guy we wouldn't have had to wait so long. So plan ahead for these things. It's a $30 fee if you return your boat past 4:30. We were late, we made a stink about it, which I think was reasonable considering that we had our boat for less than 4 hours and again, NO ONE warned us about this before making the drive out there and this wasn't on their website. The rest of the staff did the minimum. No customer service awards, that's for sure. This place is good enough. Their rental prices are reasonable, and they don't really have any competition in the area, so it's fine. I'll likely return in the future. Again, only because there is no alternative in the area, but they don't try particularly hard. Hopefully my experience is better next time. I didn't get to try the food at the restaurant, although it seemed to have a good selection.
