Cabana was perfect for us with me being so pregnant
    Nicole S.

We came today (on a Sunday) and we had super fun! This is my son's first time, and he is 19 months old and i love that they give u lifevest. We went into the baby pool and he loved it, he also got in the pool with the lily pad with me and it wasn't overwhelming for him. One thing i hated was the large deep pool they had was closed not sure why, and the little water play pad for little kids was closed, really looking forward too that. But overall we loved it. RENT A LOUNGE CABANA! We rented ours like 2 weeks in advanced and thanks god we did they only have like 4 available i think they would make more money if they had more available. Also the food snack bar was good! Loved the hot links, my kid loved the tenders and dad loved the cheeseburgers definitely a good way too start off the summer

    Little swimmer in the making

We've now been here on two occasions since moving to Antioch and both times, we enjoyed ourselves! Super affordable family fun that lasts for hours. Our first time here was to celebrate my youngest son's 1st birthday and the second time was almost one year later! This last time, however, there was a water contamination so the pool my boys played in had to be closed. It was unfortunate because there were only two parts open and the other part, they were too young to play in. They did open the baby pool which was for much younger kids but they still had fun! Even with my two times being here, I have yet to explore the full pool offerings but you know what they say...third time's a charm! My sons are 4 and almost two. My oldest really loves the water slide (red bracelets) and my youngest enjoyed that area as well as the baby pool area. I would recommend getting there early to reserve lawn chairs as they fill up fast and all the good spots get taken!

I think they only drawback is that you are not able to bring your own food and drinks, but they have a great concession stand that is reasonable.

We waited about an hour just to get into the park around 11 a.m., and then another hour and a half for food later in the day. It was definitely crowded, but still manageable if you come prepared. My biggest tip is to arrive as early as possible if you want a good shaded spot with chairs. Those fill up fast! I'd also recommend bringing a blanket, a small pop-up tent or portable umbrella for extra shade, a waterproof phone case, and plenty of towels. Those little things can make a huge difference on a hot day. Keep in mind that outside food isn't allowed, but if you're trying to save money, you can always keep a cooler or lunch in your car and head out for a break before coming back in (if your admission allows re-entry). Also, don't expect a giant dessert--the funnel cake was much smaller than we expected, which was a little disappointing. Parking is another expense to plan for. It was around $30-$35, although it's free if you have a Gold Pass, which is a nice perk. Despite the crowds and long waits, the water attractions kept the kids smiling all day, and that's what made the trip worth it. We'll definitely be back--next time we'll just get there much earlier and be better prepared for the weekend crowds!

Disappointing experience, especially for the price…read more We visited Hurricane Harbor Concord on 8/9/26 and unfortunately left very disappointed, especially considering how much we spent. We paid $300 to rent a cabana, and no one ever checked our reservation or checked us in. We asked an employee how we were supposed to check in, and they didn't know. At no point did anyone verify that we had actually rented the cabana, which made us wonder why we paid $300 when it appeared we could have simply walked in and sat down. The cabana itself had tired, worn furniture and offered no additional service or amenities that we could see. Essentially, we paid $300 for a place in the shade. We also purchased the $20 unlimited-refill drink cup, but within a few hours the refill station had run out of ice, so the soda was warm. When we asked whether there were other refill locations, staff couldn't tell us. Even the water bottle filling stations ran out of water about halfway through the day, which was especially frustrating at a water park on a hot summer day. Unfortunately, the lack of helpful customer service was a theme throughout the day. Several employees seemed either poorly informed or uninterested in helping. When I asked the employee stationed outside the regular swimming pool whether it was open, she simply shook her head "no"--no explanation, greeting, or even a smile. Most of our interactions with staff felt unfriendly and dismissive. The ride operations were also frustrating. While waiting for Tornado, we realized there appeared to be only four four-person rafts in circulation, despite a line with hundreds of people waiting. It was incredibly inefficient and made the wait unnecessarily long. The rental tubes for the lazy river also ran out before the day was even halfway over. We expected crowds and lines at a water park on a summer weekend. What we didn't expect was a shortage of ride equipment, rental tubes, ice and even drinking water, combined with staff who often couldn't answer basic questions. For the amount of money a family can easily spend here in one day--especially after paying an additional $300 for a cabana--the overall experience simply did not feel worth the cost. Hurricane Harbor could be a really fun park, but the operations and customer service need significant improvement.

If you miss it, the people that can wrist bands at the water park will direct you. Once you're inside, far right are the changing rooms, rest rooms, and lockers. $18 for a small one. The wave pool wasn't working the day we went which was a bummer. Smaller in size but seemed cool. However, there are multiple slides and rides that were all good. Seems like the water slides all use salt water, and the pool outside is chlorinated. There's a bar, dippin dots, and a pretzel based place and a burger place inside for food and drink. No water bottle refill that we found but you can refill at the drink stations. For good rides, the family one (right biggest staircase when you face the left from the entrance) will let you on Sequoia Splash or River Canyon Run. The former is at the top to the right, and River Canyon Run is to the left. RCR is much tamer as a slide, but both have a 250 lb per person limit and 700 lb total limit. They weigh you before you get on so don't attempt to get on without that. The smaller body slides all run a lot of water flow so don't worry about getting slowed down or anything. Great water fun! Definitely will come again! They are big on safety, and have lifeguards posted everywhere, and they seem to rotate areas every 30 minutes. No running and they are super cautious about what goes on. Very helpful when asked about any questions. One more thing: You can pay for your parking ($20) when they check tickets. Make sure you keep that wristband. Also, the entire park is cashless so make sure you have payment via your phone or a card handy! Have fun!

We felt comfortable allowing our children (ages 11 and 8) to walk around the park and return to our bungalow on their own because the area felt safe and well-managed. We especially appreciated having a dedicated host assigned to us. Rylan did an excellent job throughout the day. He was communicative, professional, friendly, and genuinely concerned about ensuring we had a positive experience. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Overall, we can see that the park has made adjustments to better meet guests' needs. For example, the use of QR codes and digital ordering options made food purchases more convenient. One improvement we would love to see in the future is the automatic application of seasonal passholder discounts when guests are signed in and ordering through the QR code system. Since our account information is already connected, this would make the process more seamless. We did encounter an issue with the food. We ordered several pizzas for our group, and unfortunately they arrived undercooked and doughy. As a result, much of the pizza went to waste, and we had to order additional food. We shared this concern with a member of the management team, who was very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, I do not recall his name, as I do not believe he was wearing a name tag. The pool area was very well managed. We felt our children were safe, and there appeared to be an adequate number of staff members actively monitoring the swimming areas. We appreciate the attention given to guest safety. We do believe a dress code should be enforced to better align with the family-oriented environment of the establishment. Overall, we had a great time and appreciate the efforts being made to enhance the guest experience. We look forward to returning in the future.

I have never seen the staff there demand anyone throw anything away. They offer to let you walk it back to your car. Again, had you read the rules, you would have known this. In order to keep facilities like these affordable, the rules must be enforced. The insurance rates will sky rocket when there are claims because someone got hurt by a drunk patron. I used to work in Government, and this is the case with all facilities. Also, the wave has a lot of young people working there in their first job. They are learning how to work and be adults, show them some kindness. Lastly, please take an English class. The facility was extremely crowded, and several of the rides and attractions were closed, which left fewer things available for everyone who was there. There also were not enough places to sit while waiting for the closed attractions to reopen. The lifeguards did not come across as particularly friendly or patient with the kids, which affected the overall experience. I understand that staff members have to enforce safety rules, especially when the facility is busy, but the communication could have been more welcoming. The kids still had some fun, but the crowds, closures, limited seating, and service made the visit less enjoyable than it could have been. This place has potential for a family outing, but I would recommend checking what is open before visiting and going during a less crowded time.

The package included food, snacks, and drinks, and they let us store our ice cream cake in the freezer. This obstacle course is SO MUCH FUN. Everyone was laughing and screaming. We felt like Dude Perfect! When we got tired, there were so many options to recharge: giant chess or cornhole, watching the wakeboarders, or just sunning on the turf beside our cabana. I noticed a lot of the negative reviews are about the water quality. This is not a pool, so the water is not clear; it has vegetation; and stocked fish control for mosquitoes. Since we already read about this online, we were neither surprised nor grossed out. It was a fun day outdoors! The office staff were super warm, hospitable, and accommodating. Even as we added to our food order last minute (because I saw how active the kids were being... they were ravenous!), they flexed with our request. The pizza was hot; the fruit was refreshing. We felt so well cared for! Safety-wise, I'm glad we brought older kids, mostly very strong swimmers, and vigilant parents. The course is large, and there are spots that are invisible from the lifeguards' posts. We had to initiate with the lifeguards a few times because they weren't giving us any information/direction. (eg: Can we start? Where do we start? Any rules we need to know? Are you still on break, or can we go in again?) They did not seem to have a system for the lifejackets. They were sleepy and eager to clock out. This is the first open weekend of the season; I trust they will establish consistent group protocols as the summer goes on. We had a great time and mostly guarded our own kids. We are eager to return again someday soon! THANK YOU for such a memorable, creative, raucous birthday party in the sun!
