Horrid experience with this hotel!!! Vendors/ Vacationers, even crackheads should avoid this place. We normally stay one hotel up the road at the Geneva Suites. But they were booked up so we thought, can't be that bad, right! Wrong!!! Rooms are dirty, smell like cigarettes (really bad), have fleas, beds are rocky and feel broken. Front desk reps are extremely rude and insulting! First they promised a Nom smoking room and made us sign an agreement for non smoking. We then walk to our room and find out it smells worse then a casino floor. Our female sales associates work up with flea bites Saturday Morning and we thought ok, not the worst thing. Worked all day Saturday and passed out Saturday night. Woke up to even worse flea bites. So we politely advised the front desk of the situation. The women at the front desk Cathy, responded with telling us that we brought a dog into the hotel room and that's why she now has flee bites All Over. Most ridiculous thing I have ever heard, I asked her where she obtained that information and she said her manager said he saw us on Camera. We explained that we are vendors working a huge event at the cow palace and don't have any dogs with us. Not to mention we had been at the hotel since Friday and had multiple conversations with hotel staff. Including Cathy. I became very upset at this point when she continued to tell us that we are at fault and broke their rules about pets! I reminded them that the entire property is under surveillance, including our parking spot and room directly across from the main office. I advised them to check the cameras and see if we ever had anything more then tired hard working people coming back to the room. I let her know that we normally stay up the road and never have any of these issues. She said we should have stayed there then!!!! Final straw!!! I politely asked her to cal the owner of the establishment, so I could talk with him before we went blasting this all Over social media, she laughed closed the window and picked up her phone! The room was clean. Had small refrigerator. No microwave or a coffee machine, so no way to boil water. My wife and I stayed at this place with another couple and came back to hotel around 5AM. Decided to sleep in while our friends headed out early. Around 1PM heard quick 3 knocks on door and following the knocks the door was opened by a 40+ year old Indian man. There was no announcement such as "House Keeping" or "Maintenance" or "Management." well you get the gist. Just a quick knock and then a man unknown to us barged in to our locked hotel room with a master key. My wife and I woke up in shock and saw him look in to the room scan the room and as soon as he noticed that we were in the room he immediately exited the room and shut the door closed behind him. We didn't see or hear from anyone at the hotel after this happened. I'm not sure if this is even legal especially since the "DO NOT DISTURB" sign was on the door. Our friends confirmed that when they were leaving, there was an older Indian looking man outside at the hotel smoking. Just to recap. 1. Our privacy was violated. 2. This hotel employee had NO BUSINESS getting in to our room since there was no reason. 3. We were woken up from our sleep by this individuals intrusion. What if we hadn't been there? It doesn't look bad from the outside but it is in a really shady part of town. We were warned to not walk anywhere at night. I'm staying here for a business trip and they have all the visiting chefs at 3 motels close to each other. When I first walked in to my room it reeked of pee. Before we got here I read the reviews and knew they weren't great. I will agree with others that the rooms are not as pictured. I only need a bed and a bathroom for I will be working long hours and just need the basics. I was checking the bed for bugs and when I moved the mattress. I found where the smell was coming from. There was a giant pee puddle on the box spring. The staff is very friendly and they swapped my room with no problem. The new room smells much better. If you're looking for an affordable, safe, clean place to stay near San Francisco that's the place to go. The rooms are simple but clean. Free parking which is a plus in any hotel in the bay area. The location is ok, not the prettiest part of town but there are a few fast food places around and it's very close to the Cow palace. Only stayed here one night and I enjoyed it. We got room 119 and it had a old tv but the room was nice. I have allergies and I asked for everything new and no feather pillows and they did what I ask. Customer service is good. For the price it's a great deal and it's not too far from San Francisco. Wow. I can't believe I fell for this motel. I saw the photos but didn't spend enough time looking at the reviews. From the pictures it looked like a nice updated motel but what we found was different. Here is what we found that didn't impress us. . . no iron, no alarm clock, no mini-fridge, no coffee maker, no microwave. I booked this room for two people and they had only one wash cloth.The room was also poorly lit. Probably the thing that upset me the most was how the rooms were portrayed on the photos. The bed spreads were beautiful and quite modern looking. Our room didn't have those sheets, there was a brown cover and some sheets (nothing like the photos). I don't need to have everything perfect but everything felt cheaply done, especially considering the price I paid for the rooms. The breakfast was just some packaged pastries and granola bars along with coffee. On a good note, the outside of the motel is very clean and nice pavement. The neighborhood is fairly quiet as well. The clerk checking in guests speaks very little english, is quite rude and is working out of what looks like a reception area that has been torn apart by either a bomb or a wary car. The room smells of funk, the air conditioner is dripping on to the carpet and the tub does not drain properly. There is no iron (like in the pictures,) and the place is in need of serious renovations (or a wrecking ball.) Avoid this place if you can. One thing about travel is to never book a room based on the website photos. I learned that the hard way traveling to Europe, where you are likely to share a bathroom with nother room. Also, in a place like San Francisco, expect to pay 8.5 percent sales tax, a 14 percent occupancy tax and 1-1.5 percent Tourism Improvement District assessment (depending on the location of the property). Stumbled upon here through Hotels.com and booked online because Travel Lodge I walked into was charging up to 500$ for 2 night walk in stay..... this one was 300$ 2 nights total and was actually really nice inside and check in was a breeze. Rooms were updated and cozy. Small beds though but big plus windows DONT face the parking lot which adds to privacy. Would stay here again. Well where to start, it had been a very VERY long drive when I decided I would stop and find a place to sleep because staying on the road would have been a hazard. The lovely attendant Samantha, I believe was her name, helped me choose the best option for me and recommended the online promotion they had( included a jacuzzi) which she helped me book. When I got to my room I was surprised to see that the room I was staying in was recently remodeled which was very cozy and kind of felt luxurious! (Compared to other motels) The next time I come to the area I am definitely booking with this place. Great staff, clean, friendly, convenient! Most hotels/motels were about double in price - with the same sort of reviews. My hubs and I were doing business in brisbane and wanted to stay the night (we live about 3 hours away). I was surprised that the lobby smelled pleasant, was decorated beautifully, and the lady up front was great. As we checked in I was pleasantly surprised as well (for the great price of the room) that it was clean and cozy (I would even consider walking around the room with my shoes off (Ah! I am a Germ Phobe! and would even take my shoes off here) I would stay here again, I would recommend it - and we now have a great alternative for when we want to stay out of town an extra day while having high expectations and being on a budget. read more

This place is okay . Used to come here with friends because other motels were always booked . They almost always have rooms and I think you can make as much noise as you want . Not quite sure . But this is the spot to go if you want a place to crash at with your friends . Rooms are pretty cheap and they are pretty nice . They have a mini refrigerator where you could put drinks and food in ! First off, Bridgepoint Inn doesn't even deserve a 1 star rating, in my opinion after the "hospitality" my boyfriend and I experienced last night. I called early yesterday day - probably late morning, so around 11 am or so and booked a room for the night (Feb 24, 2015) and paid a cheapish price considering for the location, but by no means was the quality or condition of this room (room 121 to be exact, for anyone interested) worth the $100 I forked out for a small, poorly lit, dingy room that's Walmart brand end tables were covered in God only knows what kind of sticky substance! There wasn't even a dresser in the room. Just yet again either Walmart or Target brand "cubby" space like dresser to place your things. The walls were incredibly thin. We could intimately hear the people next door to our room, and to be frank, I feel like I should be on a first name basis now with those people after hearing what I did in those short 20 minutes spent bringing our belongings into the room and checking for bed bugs (only someone incredibly brave, or possibly even dumb would forego checking for bed bugs at a place like Bridgepoint Inn. That place is just asking for its visitors to bring a bed bug infestation back home with them.) It didn't take long for us to notice that the bed side tables and "cubby dresser" were covered in a sticky, tacky substance that had long since dried onto the tables before we even arrived. We were tired, exhausted, and ready to crash, but after seeing the quality of the room, having given them full well notice of our arrival earlier on in the day, we just didn't think that the place was even considerably worth the $100 we paid for it. Not even 30 mins after checking in, most likely 20, I go to speak with management only after my boyfriend attempted to speak with her about a refund which is adamantly refused to do and got the same response for myself. And this lady, I swear. She's good. She's got a lie until you die type of mentality. NOTHING, not pictures, not physical freaking proof that our room was unkempt and filthy, not anything could convince this lady that the room she gave us was dirty. She wouldn't come look at the room for herself (I get it. It's not always safe in big cities, but how convenient for her to not leave her quarters to mend a situation that was hers and her staffs fault). Then, after straight up refusing to give a discount or refund she actually just WALKED AWAY from me. Like, are you kidding me?! She blatantly ignored me because she was tired of hearing me and basically said "tough cookies" to the filthy conditions of our room. She only then returned to the front desk mad at ME for holding down the service bell (made a constant, obnoxious ringing noise when you hold the button down haha) and threatening to call the cops on me after I didn't just relent and leave her alone after she "dismissed" me. Anyway, long story short, after a long, drawn out confrontation, fully captured on video, and time stamped with a receipt, with this lady, she FINALLY refunded our money, but not before threatening to turn all of my information into the cops and recharging my debit card if the room was dirty in the morning (which I'm sure the tables will still be messy today when she goes to check the room). Please, do not give this place your time, business, and especially not your money. And if that Indian woman working that night is suppose to be the face of that establishment, then she is speaking for motel itself. The mentality there is that your money may be good there, but once you pay them they don't give a flip about you, your comfort, and especially not your satisfaction. Do yourselves a favor, fork out a little more money, or stay in a town that's not as expensive and completely avoid giving the Bridgepoint for time and energy. They won't care about you and will not hesitate to side eye you and threaten you if you so choose to stick up for yourself. Spend your money at a better place. read more

Friendly staff, super accommodating!! We traveled with a small uhaul trailer and arrived late night to check in. Parking was free for both our car and trailer. The next day we wanted to travel into downtown to see some sights and the owner allowed us to keep our trailer there for a few hours even though we had checked out that morning. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also very clean as well. If ever I find myself traveling to San Francisco again I'll be sure to stay here. Hotels.com said that Bridgepoint had 5 rooms, but that was the maximum I could select, so I wanted to see if they had more. I called the hotel to find out how many rooms they had available and immediately the person who answered the phone called me stupid and started yelling at me. I asked for a manager and he said he was the manager. He insisted they were sold out and kept yelling at me until I finally had to hang up. This hotel was a complete let down. It was advertised as WAY nicer than it actually is. I feel it was overpriced for the quality/location. The rooms are not nice at all, and reeked of bleach. And to top it all off ,I experienced hands down the worst moment customer service in my life here. Our room toilet backed up slightly, so my husband called and a few min a later a man shows up at the door, wearing a ball cap random t shirt and shorts, tattoos all and and down his arms and not clean shaven, and with out a word hands me a old nasty plunger and walks away. Best deal in town!! This is THE place to stay for 49ers games or just a trip to San Fran. Short cab ride from the airport and within walking distance to Candlestick Park. Or a very short drive to see all of the sites in San Fran. Much more economical than the hotels in the city and cleaner too! I don't care how cheap a hotel is if it is not clean and this hotel is CLEAN. You can tell the pillows are changed often and the sheets are always clean.
