The owner became instantly aggressive and began to bash my two coworkers telling them "GO BACK TO AFRICA" Our company has ordered from them for years.. We've been looking for a pizza place we agree on since we've moved to king of Prussia 2 years ago and peace a pizza close in king of prussia! This place is fantastic the meatballs are so good the pizza has so much flavor! It's nice and cheesy with a "regular"sized crust that is a little crispy! And definitely not floppy! So from what I can tell, this pizza place may be closed on Sundays. I only learned this after ordering my food online and calling when it was 20 minutes late. Their website says they have Sunday hours, but the more I dig online the more it is becoming apparent that is not the case. Called GrubHub and got a refund but it's now too late to order new food, so it's bed without dinner for us... or PB&Js. I feel like the restaurant should update their website and online ordering sites (you can still order online for Sunday night is you go to the website). I paid $8 for a cheesesteak wrap that came with no chips or fries. When you're located this close to Philly you know you don't put green peppers on a cheesesteak. I ordered a soup and salad this evening, I received my order over an hour after I placed it. I had not eaten all day I opened the salad and it smelled weird almost like something was bad. Ridiculously unorganized establishment that wasted my growling stomach's time while I was trying to order food. It was 9:30 on a Sunday night and after checking hours of op online for the 3 pizza places in Bridgeport, these guys were the only one's open and until 11:00 pm, their website stated. I wanted 1 cheesesteak which takes less than 10 minutes to make, and wasn't in need of delivery whatsoever. In the 10 minutes from my house to them, I figured I could walk down and my order would be ready. I used another app called 'Slice' that restaurants use to accommodate online ordering, made sure all was correct and sent order over. I immediately received an email back from Bridgeport Pizza themselves saying not only had they received said online order, but that it was being prepped already and that I could pick it up within 30-35 minutes, which was my first annoyance, as 35 minutes for 1 cheesesteak? Really? But I was hungry, so no worries. After waiting exactly 35 minutes I was at the shop, greeted with a darkened building, closed pizzeria, and sign on the door saying 'Closed.' Conveniently there were no hours listed anywhere on the door or windows, so I figured maybe it was my mistake or a holiday I was unaware of. Not the case. I called Bridgeport then and there, and again so conveniently, the phone just rang and rang with no voicemail service or machine. Once home and really annoyed, I looked online at their hours to make sure it hadn't been my error, and again found the site saying they were open. I even went onto the other 2 pizza places' sites to see their hours, and they both had helpful info stating that the hours posted may not always be correct as their are certain days they close early due to holidays ect. Bridgeport again, had no such info. I complained to 'Slice' immediately and was never even responded too. I called Bridgeport the next day and was told a manager would call me back and that never happened. So obviously it's not a secret that I'll never step foot in their business again and will happily spread my awful reviews and experience to anyone that cares and is inquiring about them. I understand more than most about the craziness of the restaurant business, having worked in them for over 22 years. Shit happens and people are human. What gets me the most is that I actually received that email back from Bridgeport Pizza themselves saying they received my order, had started making it and that I should come to pick it up within a half hour. I am more than stumped as to how this happened, seeing as they were closed. Did a magic elf respond to my email/order? Do they have mice and rats that take over the after 9pm shift to handle the orders? I mean honestly? Who and how were they able to literally respond to that exact order etc when they were closed? This is what pissed me off, wasted my time the most and quite frankly weirded me out some. I feel extremely 'duped,' and really angry that a business of ANY kind has the capability and nerve to do this. Someone made it happen that I received that email, leading me to wait for an order never made in an restaurant completely vacant. I am more than leery about anyone that would think this up and then do it. What's the point and what's to gain? Needless to say, after finally reading the reviews on Bridgeport Pizza and seeing the negative pattern mostly toward the delivery man/times as the main culprit, I feel justified knowing I'm not the only one. So, you've been warned. Find another place or go next door. Or do what I did....run to good old reliable wawa and grab a shortie. May not be the best, but it's always dependable. My mom surprised me with a pizza from here once because she had a coupon or something. So at first I was like, yay, free pizza! Until I opened the box. Quite frankly it was some of the grossest pizza I've ever had. For some reason they had drowned it in pepper, which made it unappetizing right off the bat. They drive uninsured and one actually hit my car and totaled it and made sure to take the topper off and give the pizza to a coworker before making sure I was okay. May I add that the car was parked. we have ordered 3 times from this place and each time it sucked, today both burgers we ordered were raw in some spots and mushy in others, The taco slices were cold and burned on the bottom and omg do not order the ribs they were ice cold and the sauce was very watery. You would think that the food would be piping hot since we live just around the corner from this place. I ordered the taco pizza the other day after having a craving for it all day. We looked online and saw that the closest pizza place that made taco pizza was bridgeport pizza. The pizza showed up and ok was ready to chow down. As soon as I opened the box I was completely let down. It looked like garbage. First of, it didn't fit the box. The last two inches were folded up in the box with all the topping slide off on that area. They didn't even cut that section because I assume the pizza cuter hit the edge is the box and they didn't even try to reposition the pizza to cut through the dough. next to car first bite, and we're completely disappointed in what we tasted.the ground hamburger that was on top was simply that, cooked ground unseasoned hamburger.next we realize the entire thing was coated in salsa, so much salsa but it was just satrated and heavy. touch my first bite I realized " there is no lettuce on this". but I was wrong after I took my first bite I looked underneath the cheese hamburger and salsa and saw the lettuce, which was obviously put on first and cooked with the whole pie and now wilted. the overall taste of the pizza was pretty much just hamburger and salsa. oh and the burned it from the bottom up.we ate a few slices because we are hungry and through the rest directly in the garbage can. when it comes to pizza in Bridgeport I would avoid this place. read more
