Reheated it to get it crisp and had to keep an eye on it so it wouldn't burn. So much for that!

My first pizza pie from Franzones. It came highly recommended. I ordered a Bacon and Pepperoni Pizza with extra cheese (well done). I live only 9 minutes from the restaurant. When I returned home and picked up a slice it went limp -- No crispy crust. Had to reheat it. TIP: if you have an air fryer, it cooks the pizza faster and gives it a crispy crust.

Yes the sauce is sweet! Don't expect fancy. Expect a good old fashioned pizza place Bridgeport style.

Yes! The cheese is sweet. Crust is perfect. Cheese is sharp. Don't expect fancy. It's a good old fashioned corner pizza place Bridgeport style. Go on a Friday and Donna will welcome you with open arms

First time trying this place tonight. I'm sure the people who love this pizza, LOVE this pizza. However, for us the sauce is wayyyyy too sweet. I'm not talking naturally sweet ripe tomatoes, I'm talking tonnsssss of sugar added to the marinara sauce- almost like the restaurant didn't portion the added sugar correctly. I will say that the order was prompt and the delivery driver came to the right door of my apartment- which drivers usually never find. Additionally, I added a comment to add sides of honey mustard and ranch bc that wasn't an option on grub hub- and they added it to my delivery! I was psyched!!! Cesar salad was fresh and garlic bread was tasty. Just be aware of the sweet sauce if that's not your thing!

We got the DeJohn special and took it to Workhorse Brewing Co. The DeJohn special comes with melted cheese, mushrooms, onions and sauce, award-winning sauce. I was skeptical about this Cheesesteak when I unwrapped it. The sauce was on top. I prefer my sauce mixed in with the rest of the ingredients but did make a mental note that this was good sauce. I wish my mushrooms spent more time on the grill getting to know the meat. The fried onions with stringy which I do like. It was a pretty good roll. The meat was pretty darn tasty. This cheesesteak needed a more loving grill person. At Workhorse Brewing we were greeted in the parking lot by a sign with a whole lot of rules but the people and beer were very nice.

We really enjoy their pizza. We usually get takeout, but we dined in this time. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Had takeout from this restaurant. The pizza had too much cheese on it for my likings and the sauce was sweet. Again, not my preference.

Think about this pizza all the time. Perfect sweet and savory balance. You can balance it by folding over the pizza slice too. So good!

Not sure how you couldn't like this pizza. Being someone that appreciates a sweet sauce this is one of the best plain pies around.

They had a reservation and arrived on time. The girls were polite, respectful, and ate their food, but didn't finish everything because the portions were large. When the waitress offered boxes, they declined. The hostess questioned about why they "didn't like the food" and proceeded to yell at the waitress next to their table, which embarrassed the girls. Then, Less than an hour after their reservation began, they texted me that they were almost finished and to come pay the bill, which is what wr had agreed on. They texted me three separate times, over 12 minutes. The first text when they finished eating, the second when the table cleared and the third when they got the bill. From the first text to my arrival was exactly 17 minutes (I have text receipts and timestamps). I arrived only 5 minutes after the bill was given but by that time, the girls had already been kicked from their table and told to wait in the back near the kitchen staff. They had only been waiting a few minutes but looked so embarrassed when I got there! I went to pay and i asked the hostess when is it ever OK to kick paying customers from their table. the standard dinner reservation is a 90-minute window. The girls had been there under an hour, and it had been 17 minutes since their plates were cleared. The hostess claimed they "needed the table," which made no sense given the timing. I replied that it's not ok to do that to the kids and they would never have treated grown adults like that. the hostess slammed the checkbook shut and told me to get out. Don't even pay just get out! So we left! When we reached the parking lot that hostess ran after us yelling that she changed her mind saying she was "tired of covering everyone's bill" and threatened to call the police. I was happy to pay and reminded her that she's the one who told us to leave! She argued the entire time with me saying the she "didn't kick them outside, just asked to wait In the back" This was humiliating for a group of respectful young girls celebrating a birthday and was completely unprofessional behavior from management. What kind of place treats their customers like this?

Located in Bryn Mawr on Conestoga Rd, there is a private lot and street parking available. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. We were greeted by a friendly server before we even stepped inside. The host station is right inside and we were welcomed warmly once again. They offered us our choice of inside/outside seating. Being our first time there we wanted to see the interior. I mentioned this and they gave us a great table upstairs overlooking the restaurant. The store is decorated with a lot of Italian transportation...small cars and Vespas. I loved the high ceilings, and the upper level seating. They also have a huge TV on the wall, and decorated for the 2026 World Cup, despite Italy not qualifying! Our server, Alex, was very personable despite being busy with a large bday gathering and several other tables. He made us feel welcome as he went over the specials and took our orders. I got the chicken Parmesan which is my goto litmus test, while my date got the beet salad with grilled chicken. The food arrived promptly and looked and tasted delicious. My chicken parm was yummy, crispy chicken with melted cheese over delicious spaghetti! The beet salad was also well received. We saw several tables getting some delicious bread and asked for a basket. I thought it may be complimentary however it was 8$ a basket. They make it in house and drizzle it with olive oil. Served with some fresh rosemary and soft butter, it was delicious and well worth the price, just don't fill up on it! We were pressed for time so turned down their house made gelato, however we passed the gelato station on the way out and regretted this decision, it looked amazing! I mentioned to Alex that my entree was delicious but what set the restaurant apart was the service and atmosphere. It was warm, welcoming, and friendly. Some Italian places can be a bit on the cool/formal side so this was a nice change. Stop in and check it out, save some room for that bread and the gelato!

Our server Angela greeted us right away. She introduced herself and asked if we were celebrating. She was very sweet and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We had the arancini (3) which is amazing! and the pesce cruda, yellow tale with lemon, radish snap peas and sesame. We then had Casoncelli a veal stuffed pasta with golden raisins, amaretti and parmigiana as well as Siscillian Meatballs (3) served in escarole broda, crumble pine nuts and parmigiana. We had no room but still got dessert! The pistachio cream cake with cherry jubilee and a beautiful flor de latte ! we also had the espresso ice cream cake with toffee and salted caramel. I can not put into words how delicious and beautiful everything was! it was art on a plate. We wanted to compliment the chef and he came out to thank us!!! What a talented and nice man. Thank you Angela for superb service and making our experience so memorable and to Jesse for the absolutely incredible food and his down to earth spirit! We highly recommend and will come back!!! Hopefully we can have Angela again!

The experience was a little bizarre. Their website says "Rosalie doesn't allow reservations for 1,…read moreplease just walk in". I walked in, as directed, just for a very flustered man at the front of the house to fumble with his system for a good 10 mins. Telling me there was a table, then taking it back and saying there were no tables for the night, then saying nevermind and making me a reservation for two (which I would have done if not discouraged by the website) for half an hour later. At this point I already had a very bad taste in my mouth from the level of chaos. I waited outside for my table. When I got to my table I will say my server was very nice until a strange comment came up at dessert. Once I ordered my dessert, he left and came back with two spoons, saying "I brought two spoons for us." It almost seemed implied he'd join me. I dine a lot alone, voluntarily. Most of the time it's after work and I really don't want, let alone need, company. His comment gave me anxiety as I wondered how I would politely tell this man I wanted to dine alone. When he brought the dessert he did not join me but made sure to say "I'll be back for a few bites." Maybe it was a joke but to me it was very odd and made me pretty uncomfortable. I gave three stars just for the Cacio e Pepe. It was very good. I did (without giving tmi) have a very sick stomach after the meal and the morning after so I wouldn't return just incase that was the cause. Like a said... a weird experience.
