What a find in Bridgeport. Takeout order, I chose the Giulia's Ravioli Rossini (four cheese large raviolis in blush sauce). This was from a special section of their menu titled Dino's specialties. The raviolis were fresh and tender eliciting sixth sense level flavor coming from the hot blush sauce. The menu has more options of gluten free pizza than any pizzeria I have come across so far and I cannot wait to try some of them. A good mix of many stellar Italian dishes and more common lunch items are also on their menu. I definitely planning on coming back and looking forward to updating my review once I try some more of their dishes. As always people SYOY!!! read more

Today I had an amazing pasta dish described as mushroom tortellini with blush sauce. Blush sauce is life. I just had something like this at a fancyrestaurant down the shore. It came with garlic knots and a house salad. They have THEE BEST garlic knots. Fluffy knots dipped in gahlic and parm.Everything together was filling and satisfying. We just moved to Bridgeport a few months ago and of the three places I've tried, Dino's is the best. Food is always good, the staff is always so kind and friendly, AND every time I try something new, it doesn't disappoint me. -Classic cheese slice is top notch and my kids really love it. -Stromboli is made fresh with their dough and packed to the brim. They don't skimp on cheese/filling. -Wings in mild garlic sauce are the perfect amount of heat and the wings are crispy and saucy. A combination that seems difficult to obtain without a batter/coating on the chicken, but they do it right. -Chicken panini lunch with roasted peppers and cheese that was good, but they have better things I'd rather order instead -Roast pork and broc, would order again! -Cheesesteaks are mid, but I love a mid cheesesteak I'm from Chicago. read more

We got the buffalo chicken pizza which was good--needs to be well done and it is a lot of cheese for my dairy lovers out there. The woman that waited on us in the dining room was very nice (honest nice - I hate fake nice) and checked on us the perfect amount of times. She kept our drinks refilled and we didn't even need to ask. Amazing right? The dining room is typical Italian restaurant/pizza joint. They had a couple of TVs which was nice. The tables and the menus were clean. Hallelujah! The options were plenty. The pizza is thin and greasy like it should be and the fountain Pepsi was mixed correctly. My burger was overcooked and I could have used a little more dressing for my salad but they were minor and I am sure if I asked they would have fixed them. We will be back. We usually call in for pickup. This is the first I dined in. The place is pretty big. read more

Two times in a row now.. I call there and place an order for pick-up. As soon as I place my order the person on the phone puts me on hold. 60 seconds later... "Pick up or delivery?" WTF?? I just told you!!! Then I get attitude because this moron doesn't remember the conversation he just had 60 seconds ago. So, the first time, some skinny grey haired dude slams my side order on to my pizza and gives me attitude. No "Thank you" or "enjoy" or anything a paying customer would expect to hear.. The second time, same thing... Needless to say I called off the order due to incompetence. Bottom line.. People with terrible attitudes, don't give a sh*t about your food. I will NOT be ordering from here again. Extremely overpriced and poor quality. My fiance and I just moved to this area and decided to try Dino's on our weekly take out night since it was within walking distance. We opted for the large pizza and wing special on the menu and thought we were going to pay around $30-33. When the delivery arrived it was $43. We didn't even have enough cash on us so Dino's called back to get card information. Apparently meat lover's is not included and was an extra $10. It was certainly not worth it. The ham on it was clearly processed deli ham and the wings were poor quality with bones sticking out and varying in size. Then they had the nerve to call back and ask about a tip for the delivery guy and of course my fiance gave him one because it wasn't his fault. I was annoyed to say the least. I've read some of the negative comments on here and really cannot understand why the reviewers had negative experiences. I've been there three times in the last couple of months, and each time the food and the service was outstanding. Kudos to Jason, an assistant manager who was helping out waiting on tables this past Wednesday. This man was the best! His personality, desire to please, and excellent service were amazing - and helped make the meal as enjoyable as it was. First of all, the complimentary garlic knots served with dinner were, by far, the best I've ever had. They were served warm, right out of the over - and were not overflowing with grease or too much garlic. They were truly perfection. We were even asked if we wanted more during our meal. A complimentary salad is also included with a dinner entree. The salad was fresh, well-made, and delicious with the home-made balsamic vinaigrette. There were a variety of lettuces, olives, tomatoes, etc. I enjoyed the salad just as much as the delicious meal. For an entree, I ordered the chicken parm with a side of rigatoni pasta. I had ordered it on a previous visit, and it did not disappoint - so I had to try it again. Once again, it did not disappoint. The portion size was great, and the chicken parm itself was delicious. The sauce made the dish; I cannot praise their marinara sauce highly enough. The rigatoni were also superb - cooked al dente, and drenched in the delicious sauce. Amazing! My dining buddy enjoyed the rigatoni with Italian sausage, which he said was just as delicious as my entree. The fact that both of us finished every morsel of food on our plates should speak for itself, as far as the quality and taste of the food. Based on how good everything was in the restaurant, I even ordered a spinach calzone to take home and enjoy the next day. Needless to say, I enjoyed every bit of that as well. In my opinion, this restaurant/pizzeria is a Bridgeport gem. If you have not yet tried it, and are in the mood for some quality Italian food at reasonable prices, give it a try. I really don't think you will be disappointed. Jason, I hope you are working the next time I'm in (which will be within the next couple of weeks, for sure), as your outstanding service, despite your being as busy as you were that night with the phone ringing off the hook, etc., contributed a great deal to the enjoyment of our meal - which as I mentioned, was truly 5 stars! read more

My friend ordered delivery from here so this review is strictly based on the food. We got the upside down pepperoni pizza and cannolis. The pizza was AMAZING. I never had upside down pizza before and I was pleasantly surprised. The dough was crunchy, the sauce was sweet, it had the right amount of cheese and pepperonis. When we moved to this area we struggled to find a good pizza. We weren't really thrilled with any of the local options...until we tried Dino's! Not only is their pizza spot-on in terms of sauce, cheese, and crust ratios (not to mention taste), they have so many other delicious menu items, you really can't go wrong. Dino's has easily become one of our go-to's. It doesn't hurt that we always feel welcome the second we walk in the door - I love our little community and the businesses that support it! Some stand outs? I've only ever stolen bites of the spaghetti and meatball kids meal, but it's amazing. It reminds you why cooking Italian at home, while simple, is not the same as good Italian. I can't wait to try more of their Italian dishes! I also had an amazing salad- one of their lunch specials - It was perfectly proportional and there wasn't a lot of junk lettuce (I hate really bad lettuce). The topping to base ratio was fantastic and the flavor combination was top notch. We've also tried a number of other foods and have pretty much liked them all -- the wings are a little more bbq-y then buffalo, but they're still good (although I will say I prefer a crispier wing, but that's just a preference of mine, I wouldn't go out of my way to order theirs, but I wouldn't not order them). Oh and the garlic knots...amazing!! We cut carbs, so a lot of complex carbs got the boot, but I always sneak a little bite when there's a garlic knot from Dino's in the house! Final verdict? I got the chicken marsala with gluten free penne..... it was one of the best gf meals I've ever eaten. This restaurant obviously specializes in Italian food. I've eaten many things off the menu and everything was excellent. My personal favorite is the chicken marsala, but their pizzas and pastas and everything on the menu is really excellent! I've talked to the owner a couple times and he's a real nice guy who also works there and works real hard to keep his customer satisfied. read more

Can we talk about Dino's buffalo chicken pizza? It is the best in the universe. The chicken is shredded, the buffalo sauce is cross-hatched on top, and the blue cheese perfectly balances it all. Magical. Their other pizzas are good too. I always say you can judge a pizza place by their plain slice - and Dino's gets an A+. Note that they seem to only carry Pepsi products. About a month ago I stopped in an ordered the grilled chicken pesto sandwich for takeout. It looked they put the pesto on with ice cream scoopers.
