I cannot fairly describe the kind of impact Mr. John Bridges has made in my life! I'll try to give you an idea though... Right after my free orientation, I knew I was stepping into an experience that would shift everything for me, and I was right!!! Bridges Hypnotherapy came recommended to me by a friend who had gone to Mr. Bridges for smoking cessation. My friend was very hesitant when she first went for hypnotherapy, but she quickly came to understand the tremendous benefits Mr. Bridges was able to provide her. She had three sessions, and quit smoking after 45 years. I could see such a positive change in her that, although hesitant myself, I decided to go in for a free consultation. I went to Mr. Bridges primarily to help me with focus and follow-through, fairly intangible in comparison to tangible issues like smoking cessation. I took a month to think about it before committing, and then I purchased eight sessions and did my best to keep an open mind. Normally a laid back and confident person, when I met Mr. Bridges I was WOUND TIGHT with various issues of grief and marital discord. I had lost my peace, happiness and confidence. Mr. Bridges was BEYOND patient and kind in listening to my struggles, but more importantly, he was so incredibly CAPABLE of helping me through my struggles! I cannot endorse John Bridges enough!!! Everything about my experience with him was incredibly professional, patient, kind, and life changing! Right from the very start, he wanted to bring me in for a free general consultation just so he could build a foundational relationship and understanding about the issues I am dealing with. I hesitate to write a negative review because I am sure he has the best intentions and has success with clients. However, I had a really bad experience and he completely wasted my time. I found him on Groupon so I thought I'd try it out. I listened to him jabber on for over an hour about everything except me and my problem (basically talked about himself, his family, experience with people in my profession, etc). I felt like he just wasting my precious time. Finally, I politely asked him when we would get to the actual hypnotherapy session. Turns out he does't do hypnosis in the first session and there is a minimum of 4 sessions required at $700. This was never communicated to me when making my appointment. Also turns out his Groupon deal ended according to him (except not actually ended on the website) and he went on and on about the issues he's had with Groupon telling me even though he's not getting anything from Groupon for it, he'd still honor it. Finally, he said he's very selective about the clients he takes on and could see it wasn't a fit after I expressed my hesitancy to commit to 4 sessions at $700 because of my busy schedule. When I left, he told me I would not be successful. I'm sure if you have the time and patience to commit to him, he has success with clients. But I don't appreciate when people waste my time. read more

As we talked about my issue, I got the impression that he genuinely cared about me as a person, and that he would do whatever he could to help me.
