The standard they upheld I saw put in practice every single day, including quality, empathy, expertise, and just overall providing the upmost service and care. This is a privately owned physical therapy office with two physical therapist as partners - Nancy, and Howard. Both are super experienced. I had to come here because I had a random neuromuscular injury and I came here for about six months because I found it so helpful . I primarily saw Nancy and her manual work is unmatched! I had a lot of locked up upper body muscle muscles, where I couldn't even lift my left arm all the way up. She did manual work massages in the areas that needed it to get the tissue to freeze up at every session and then would assign me physical therapy work in their gym. That was essential for my case. Prior to coming to this office, I had tried out another physical therapy office, I won't name any names, but I really dislike them and immediately stop going to them after the first session. On the entire hand at Orthosport, I stayed with them a little bit longer because I just enjoyed their service so much. And not to mention, they're such friendly and warm people. Not money grabbers at all. They want you to be able to improve and leave with skills to maintain your body and not have you come back unnecessarily. They accept different health insurances . They helped me navigate my insurance and my work medical leave paperwork Manual. Super experienced. I have not won slightly negative thing to say about this office. I think they're angels - from the front desk to the physical therapist to the occasional students that help out.

Come and go away couldn't figure it out. Recently flew down to South Florida and the pain was killer on the 1st and 2nd day over the weekend. I had to find a podiatrist to figure the pain. The nursing staff is nice too. The only problem is there rude, toxic front desk. Every time I was in the line I thought I'm begging for food rations. I've always on time and had to wait at least 35-45 minutes to be seen every single time. Today I showed up 24 minutes late after a shoulder surgery for a follow up. I had no nanny and had to deal with a 14- months old with me having one arm. Yes, daddy could help but there's unexpected pooping and nappy change prior to leaving that I didn't plan for. The office gave me attitude like "oh, but your appointment was at 8". Yes, bitch. Had I showed up at 8 I would still be waiting to be called. Why do doctors think they are the only one whose time is important. I had to take time off a very well-paying job to come wait around as well. Normally it will take me more than 2 hours in this office for a 15 minutes face time with a doctor. Both my parents were physicians and I worked in patient registration in their hospital growing up. I never had this type of issue. People who had long wait time are the walk in that we only could fit them in between appointments. If you want to me keep my appointment absolutely on the dot, do yours yourself!!!!'

I needed to find a good place that was relatively close to my house, but also took my insurance. The doctor provided a list of therapists, and this CORA location worked out perfectly. I was able to get a next-day appointment for my evaluation. They tested the limits of my knee to see my range of motion and strength level and then provided a list of exercises that I could do on my own at home. These exercises were also available for me on their customized MedBridge app. The app shows how to do the exercises and you can follow through with it for the entire session. Additionally, I go in for PT twice a week. The staff is very friendly, understanding, and welcoming. They cater to people of all ages and different activity levels and injuries. Odane has been excellent in providing a variety of extensive strengthening and mobility exercises to help stabilize the injured area. He is extremely attentive and corrects your form to ensure you achieve the best results. They will also provide ice or heat after sessions, depending on what each individual needs. If all other CORA facilities are run in this manner, I would highly recommend seeking them out if you ever are in need of physical therapy. And if you live close by, be sure to check out this location. You'll be back on your feet in no time.

If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck and looks like a duck, then it's definitely a duck…read morewhich is how I've confirmed that Dr Colette is as crooked as they come. Her machines --the clinics and the staff-- are so well oiled that she has mastered the system of making profits at the expense of other people's health. The artificial reviews and her "4 pillar" model means absolutely nothing, just like that book that she recently authored with a total of four measly ratings. A referral from our trusted PCP led my mother to seek physical therapy at PhysicalOne, and just in the second week, she was complaining to Dr Colette as well as me about pain in her left knee. Then going into four weeks, she also started complaining about the sciatica pain making a comeback. I thought it odd to regress because she consistently devoted two days each week for well over a month to PT, so I convinced my mother that it improvement would take time. Then it all started making sense to me: this is why no one else is allowed in the PT area and why whenever I stopped by to make payment and asked to speak with Colette for a progress report, she was always either reportedly with a patient or not onsite and was not open to discussing it over the phone. This also explains why whenever I asked and persisted to speak with Colette about my mother's complaints, instead of calling me back, the staff TEXTS me an evasive response as a band-aid since she is only in this industry to milk, not help anyone get better. I wouldn't even be surprised if there was no existing care plan with expected milestones to hit that would mark progress. The business hides behind that raggedy StriveHub app that she and the entire staff know does not work, yet tries to flip the script on the patient like we're not being compliant with at-home exercises. This is not a coincidence. She also hides behind laser therapy like it will replace quality PT sessions because she knows that it is strictly a sales method to increase the clinic's profits while masking the underutilization of PT services. Therefore my response to her manipulative shiftiness when the laser was offered is 'we already tried that. Either way, with or without laser therapy, there should still be clear signs of improvement for the time that we've been coming here.' And dont get me started on that glove --yes a glove-- filled with water that she's telling people to ice themselves with. Mediocrity at its worst! But since I unveiled the mask that the staff was trained to wear, this arrogant ill-mannered unapologetic know-it-all kept cutting me off and talking over me when she finally called per my requests. In that escalated phone call, I exposed the many contradictions and demanded to know the next course of action regarding my mother's lack of progress "under her care." The next morning I patiently waited for a response on Collette's availability for tomorrow and the next week. No missed calls, no voicemails, no text messages nor emails. Mind you, I have been the main point of contact for the past seven weeks. My sister dealt with the staff only one time which was during the very first encounter. But the office conveniently reached out to my sister instead saying that I was unreachable all of a sudden and that XYZ slot was available but it won't be with Colette. Very sneaky and unprofessional. She is the one who actually offered to do a re-evaluation of my mother with herself, mom and I present, yet reneged on her word because it was unimportant and did not ring in enough money for her. Please don't be fooled by the welcoming reception area and courteous staff. They have been trained by Colette to only drive sales, not see you regain strength. Just to be crystal clear, there's nothing wrong with a business owner making money, but it becomes a problem to me once they're only there to make money at the expense of an entrusting clients' health, especially within a vulnerable population. So the moment that I began taking notice that there was never an issue with collecting payment from copays and upsales, but there was absolutely no fruit from the "labour," and I demanded answers, then they no longer showed interest. That is why I am sounding the alarm because people need to know who genuinely cares and who is only in this business just to swell their pockets and keep people sick.

Dennis is extremely talented and efficient, so he can accomplish a lot in an hour session. The work he does with jaw (TMJ issues), head, and neck really helped me a lot. Dennis is a trainer, teacher, and expert in this field. In addition to his massage, Dennis does NLP (Neuro Linguisic Programming), which can be helpful as well. Dennis is one of the most dynamic and interesting people I've ever met, so every session I've had with him has been fun. I used to see him only when I was in town visiting my grandparents (who sadly no longer grace the earth) so I don't get occasion to visit Fort Lauderdale anymore. If I ever make it back there, I will try to get in with him again. I don't usually see male massage therapists, but I always felt at ease with him (and he gives his female clients tube tops and jogging shorts, so that he can get to all the important muscles without any discomfort). My husband and dad both had sessions with Dennis as well, and they also thought very highly of his work and had follow-up appointments. Dennis gave my husband and me different excercises to do that were very specific for our unique patterns. He's excellent, insightful, and I only wish he worked closer to where we live!

He has a vast, intuitive understanding of anatomy, which he explains while applying a treatment plan. Without Dennis, I'd probably be seeing a slew of doctors and taking a bunch of pills (or surgery) to help with things that he can easily fix, naturally. I suggest him to all my friends who are struggling with pain, no matter how far the drive.

There are a few times that they are WAY behind when it comes to appointments that it makes me wonder what the point of making one is. I had to wait almost 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment because they only had 2 people working at the time. The location is easy to find and the parking lot has a nice amount of spaces for everyone that needs to come here. The lobby is always clean and there is more than eniugh seating as well. One of their main entrance doors is stuck so there is only one door to come in and out. The rooms are clean but very small so I feel like I'm ontop of everyone when there is more than two people in the room at a time. Overall it's a great urgentmed and my choice in case I get under the weather or need something quick looked at!
