Still waiting for Dave to return the $500 he overcharged on a Generac home generator. It's been two…read moreyears. Dave is the principal owner of the business and recently got into the home generator business as a distributor and installer of Generac products. I signed off on an estimate / contract with him to install Generac's largest residential generator. Other than delivering the home generator unit and sub-contracting the gas and electrical hook-ups, I basically had to step in as the general contractor and work with the gas / electrical guys because he would not return phone calls to them or to me. In fact, I had to contact Generac directly to set the generator up and get the 10 year warranty he was supposed to secure for me as part of his estimate and contract. Even his own staff told me privately that he is over his head and not very good with customer support. I do not recommend Ocean West.

I purchased the luggage rack they offered listed for a Fat Boy and Deluxe as advertised. I received the luggage rack and it was 3/4 of an inch too short. I called the business and they informed me that ordering the Deluxe luggage rack was my mistake, when, in fact, I ordered correctly. What was advertised didn't work. The person Kelly, whom I assume is the owner of the company, informed me that I would have to pay for shipping the luggage rack to return for an exchange for a Harley Davidson Softail Heritage luggage rack that is 3/4 inch longer than the luggage rack they sold me. I would be wary of purchasing from them ever again and they are not so helpful. Their advertisement doesn't make sense because of the wrong fit. I was misled into believing I was getting the appropriate part. Not so. They lie. I refuse to pay out to send a part back risking that the replacement is wrong also. I don't trust them. I'll keep the existing part, but, to make it work, I had to use oversized washers to have something that will hold down the rack. It's sad I had to make a work-around for such an expensive part. Expensive and incorrect.

Got a tire rotation and ask for a visual enspection of my breaks while they were doing it…read more they can back and told me my breaks an rotors needed to be replaced, and were at a critical level. quoted me $1400 for the service. A week later got a email from the saying during their " extensive break check", which I assume did not take place as they moved my tires from the front to the rear; they recommend the service immediately, even called me twice. Went to Les Schwabs, told me my breaks were totally fine. Alignment, slightly off Q, $200. truck drives smooth as butter. Wish I could say this was my first run in with this service department. Don't take their advice. Their crooked practices keep these guys in business, it's an art-form for them
