This our first time at the new spot. We called in advance to see if we needed reservations (other times it was too busy) and they told us to come down, wait would be minimal. They were true to word. We had a burger with onion rings and animal fries. The burger was good, onion rings were fresh and anal fries wee OUT OF THIS WORLD- cheesy lots of meat and surprisingly fries were not too soggy. Drinks were cool, very spacious and clean.. can't wait to go back and have a dinner.

    Pork Osso Bucco special. Delish!

We walked in around 10pm on a snowy night. I wasn't feeling well so I didn't make dinner and we were both hungry. We were told the kitchen was almost closing but they were very nice and accommodating. Our server was Kim k. I ordered the Osso Bucco special and my bf ordered the jalapeno burger. I loved my Osso Bucco! It came piping hot with mashed potatoes and crispy Brussels sprouts. The sauce was this tomatoey Italian style which complemented the rich meat very nicely. My partners burger came with those McDonald's like French fries that were crispy and hot! Both entrees were delicious and fresh! No one rushed us since the bar is open until 2am. The music was good and plenty of tvs to look at. Price was fair, around $60 total including tax and tip and fees for two great entrees! Next time will be back during prime dinner time and try some drinks too!

3.5 but rounding to a 4. This is a pretty good bar and grill in Queens. We had a min long wait to sit but we didn't have a reservation so that's not really their fault. It was very loud on a Sunday night, but that's to be expected during football season. The food is good -- I wasn't blown away but I didn't have any complaints. Our server was okay. She wasn't able to really check in with us too much as she was covering a very large section. But she was nice and helpful when we did interact with her. Overall, this is a pretty good spot that I'd be willing to try again.

Came here last night for the Super Bowl and it was only an ok experience. First of all, we sat in the back with 7 other tables 2 of which were large parties. There were about 8 servers walking around and they were hovering to the point that it was weird. We started watching to see if it was other tables as well, but no, it was just our table. Not sure why. Food was fine. Nothing was amazing but I only got wings and fries. Wings could have been crispier for sure. What really got me is they charged an "operating fee". For what?? No signage stating you'll be charged this fee either. I've never even heard of this before

Pros: Good food. Nice atmosphere. I have been frequenting their establishment since the were on woodhaven a cross from Mario Pollo (over 7 years now). Food is what you expect for a local neighborhood haunt. Drinks are good They have very good burgers. Prices are as expected. We had a burger, couple of appetizers, and 4 drinks. Bill was $150. . Cons: no happy hour. Need to change that. Not having one is a business mistake. What I didn't like was the inebriated bartender. He was loud and obnoxiously omnipresent.

Places like Bridie's, make me wish there was a character maximum on the amount of words one can write in a review, because I can't say enough good things about this place. I used to visit their old spot on Woodhaven, but this is on a completely different level. While their wings are still spectacular, (try the grilled jerk, wings), everything else has improved. The interior is a blend of both traditional and modern, sprinkled with homages to the surrounding neighborhood. upon entry you will find the bar to the left and high tops on your right. I think there are about a dozen or so televisions throughout this area. The bar is impressive and welcoming The servers are warm and very knowledgeable about the food and drink menu, and quite accommodating. The only bartender, I know, Christian, is a friendly, happy go lucky , smiling beacon in the sea of people. Always willing to help brighten your day if you should require. Now the food. There are only a few things I have not yet tried on the menu, however, what I would recommend you try, in no particular order are: wings any style. any burger, just make sure to get it with tots. Grilled skirt steak sandwich, shepherds pie, balsamic chicken wrap, chipotle shrimp quesadilla, teriyaki, chicken salad, and the pork chop. Haven't yet tried their desserts , but I'd imagine they are just as delicious as the rest of their food.

A great sports bar with great food Always happy with the service too. The atmosphere is cheery and the beer is always cold !

Living in Queens I've always heard about Bridie's but after hearing of their closing I felt like I missed an opportunity to try a great staple. Once I heard they were opening back up but in Middle Village I was pumped. We went on a Thursday night, it was pretty packed but we were able to get a seat quickly/ without waiting. This was a trick because even ordering a beer took 20 minutes. I tried browsing their instagram page and saw a few posts saying they are known for a steak sandwich, I then browsed yelp to see the same consensus. We start out with regular buffalo wings. They were NOT good. Very saucy but needed to be cooked more. It took so long to come out I just let it go and didn't even finish the wings. For so many people raving about their wings I was expecting a lot. Next we ordered a burger. It was regular. Nothing fancy, it was a frozen patty heated up and dressed. Fine, it's a bar/restaurant it's what I expected. Then we order the "famous" skirt steak sandwich. The waitress comes out and gives us its Philly cheesesteak, I tell her it's not what we ordered and I show her the instagram post because I want to specifically try this steak sandwich. I'm not sure why she was confused. We wait 25 minutes for it and when it comes out it's just toast and steak, very little sauce, it was well-done (barf) and to top it off its $21 just for the sandwich. What a scam. Look at the photo of the sandwich attached to this review. Scam. This all felt like a waste of time and money here. They hired so many waiters and waitresses there was no need for service to be so slow and wrong. The only thing going for this place was the size of the restaurant and the amount of TVs allowing customers to watch different games/matches. Definitely not returning.

I had a deeply disappointing and discriminatory experience at this restaurant. The owner himself allowed two couples to be seated before me, even though I had been waiting longer. It was painfully clear that it happened because of my Hispanic appearance. The couples were Italian, and he clearly gave them preference -- people who looked like him. This would have been my fourth time dining here, but the owner's attitude and behavior were unacceptable. Even the young woman at the door, who wasn't in uniform, was unfriendly and dismissive -- she even had to be reminded not to be on her phone during working hours. From the owner to the hostess, there was a complete lack of courtesy and respect. I will never return to a place where I am made to feel that my money and presence have no value simply because I am Latina. Because I don't have blue eyes, or fair skin, or the look they seem to prefer. If there was a reason for letting others in before me, they could have at least explained it politely. Instead, they ignored me, whispered, and made hand signals, thinking I wouldn't notice. It was humiliating. We had just come from church, dressed modestly and respectfully, yet they made me feel like I didn't belong -- like I wasn't "good enough" to be there. Their stares and body language said it all. It's sad, because the servers in my previous visits had been kind and professional. But this time, the owner himself showed clear discrimination. I won't ever go back -- not to the restaurant, not even to the bar. To my fellow Latinos, Hispanics, or anyone who doesn't fit their narrow standard of appearance -- please be aware. Don't go through the same hurtful experience I did.

    Shepherd's Pie.
    Michael W.

I was in town for a funeral and was looking for a spot to watch the Mets. I dropped in here and sat at the bar to watch the game and drink a few beers. The bartender was great and very attentive. I had Shepherd's pie, wings and the pretzel and everything was great. The main complaints that I had were that sitting at the bar, the AC is blowing directly on you. The other thing was the noise. When the place got crowded, it was almost unbearably loud. So the food and service are great, but try to come when it's not too busy.

Glad my friends took me here! It's very easy to miss this place. Right off of Metropolitan Avenue down 88th Street. If you didn't know about it already, you definitely wouldn't know it's there. The Q54 is just a few steps away. The space is HUGE! Really massive pub with a charming feel. They have different live music acts there most weekends. Check their social media to see who is playing in advance. Service is extremely attentive and friendly. The actual bar wraps around the front in a U shape. Plenty of room anywhere you go. So spacious. The music acts have a dedicated space on the left side when you first enter. Lots of booth and table seating in the front. The back was so immense. Lots of t.v.'s all over playing sports. You can tell lots of locals and regulars patronize this pub. Thr zucchini and mozzarella sticks were good. Most likely frozen but they were still yummy. For my entree I had the fish and chips for $20. The tartar sauce and batter on the fish was delicious. The lettuce and tomato on the plate was just an afterthought. The fries were kind of dry, but I loved that they gave me malt vinegar to go with them. They know what they're doing! They offer a wide variety of dishes. They have a sandwich board that they bring around to every table with the daily specials written on it. They do offer desserts but you have to ask what's available since they're not listed on the menu. I had the molten lava cake. It was my favorite part of the meal. Warm, gooey and tasty. Really hit the spot. When the bands start playing the vibe is just so fun and chill. I had a great time. Hope to come back soon!
