They have pools for them and a large sand pit for digging. There is a very large backyard with a high fence and they are NEVER caged. They sleep on the furniture like the kings and queens they are. I am so thankful I found them. April is so wonderful with the dogs and Emma took to her immediately (she was a shy puppy). I can not say enough good things about them...THE BEST!!! And Emma agrees, especially about the homemade treats that are always on hand!!

He is also 90 lbs and his size can create a unique challenge. We've struggle in the past to find a vet who would build trust and work with him vs. rushing to full sedation. I was blown away by the care we received from Dr. Koenigstein. She prescribed a comfort pack for him to take in advance of his appointment, and was very gracious when he was too stubborn to enter the exam room. She spent a great deal of time with him to make him comfortable with her. She also let me stay with my dog during the entire visit, which I think went a long way in keeping him relaxed. As a team of three (the vet tech, Ashley, was amazing too!), we soothed my dog and kept him comfortable through the exam, vaccinations, and even a nail trim. I feel so fortunate to have found this place and would absolutely recommend it to all pet lovers in the local area!

And I spoke to several self proclaimed as "BEST" from NNJ to CT to upstate NY, none of which the initial call ended pleasantly. Others claim to be so great yet try to pitch an absolute need to send dog off to a 3 week college in order to achieve any results. On the initial phone call I was able to determine Tommy was reasonable, trustworthy and if anyone could be a success story I found the best. I was offered a initial demo/lesson in which further proved my intuition was right on. Snooki achieved results/improvement she never exhibited prior. He not only can work with your pet, but has the ability to show the client how to get the pet to obey commands & "communicate" whats expected with your pet. Previously…read moreour pug was going to Jersey City Unleashed however the staff there was very mean and the procedures became very rigid and frustrating when the pandemic hit and we made the switch. JC Unleashed no longer exists so it's a good thing we got our pug setup at Bow Wow when we did. Getting Martin (our pug) established at Bow Wow was pretty simple. Martin goes for day care 2-3 times a week when we are working in the city and for boarding when we have long weekends away. The staff are super friendly and they really love him - he's a senior dog and usually just follows the workers around when they are in the play room or chills in the corner. He's participated in a couple of their group enrichment activities like making a mother's day frame - so cute. We are pleased with Bow Wow and will continue to utilize their services for as long as we live in Hoboken.
