One of the most beautiful places we stayed at. So close to town and yet so isolated, peaceful and amazingly beautiful. Dave took care of us so nicely, and made my wife's birthday an absolute joy. Would love to come back

Just stayed at the Bed & Breakfast 3/20-3/22. This home is absolutely beautiful! Upon arrival we were greeted promptly by Dave, one of the inn keepers. My husband and I stayed at the Bed & Breakfast to celebrate our 5th anniversary. When we got to our room the "Good Friends" suite we had a cute little "Happy Anniversary" sign as well as some chocolates. Our room included a private porch and huge jacuzzi tub! We definitely took advantage of both. We also had a mini fridge (stocked with soda and water) and a coffee machine (with teas, coffee, and hot chocolate). The great thing about the "Good Friends" suite was that it is the only room located downstairs, thereby adding some more privacy to your stay. The common areas were nice. There was a porch with rocking chairs to look out over the gorgeous view. Upstairs there was a small common area with a large selection of DVDs and a puzzle to work on if one wanted to. There was also peanut M&Ms, pretzels, and cookies available in the common areas during the day. Breakfast was good. The first day we had baked grapefruit, waffles with fruit, AMAZING bacon, and were offered an ice cream sundae for dessert. The second morning we had fruit with yogurt and homemade granola (which was very good!), and an egg casserole type dish (I can't remember the name). We also liked visiting with their dogs, Deuce and Tucker, and their cat Lilly. The pets all stayed in a separate area, away from guests. The only negatives I found were some of the amenities were lacking (when compared to other bed & breakfasts I've been too) and the decor wasn't my style (a little too early 90s for me). All in all I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing weekend in small town America. Dave and Karen, the inn keepers, are so very accommodating and a very sweet couple. You can definitely tell they are hard working people!

Such a beautiful property, with an amazing view! Very convenient to all of the little shops and restaurants in Lexington. We recently stayed at Brierley Hill for a short little 2-night getaway. Our room, Eagles View, was lovely and the view in the morning--of the fog sitting down in the valley and the fall foliage--was stunning! We greatly appreciated that the tables in the breakfast room were comfortably 'social-distanced.' The breakfasts themselves were delicious, and we also appreciated that coffee was available before breakfast, especially with a later breakfast seating. Without question, we'll look at staying at Brierley Hill again, when we're next in the Lexington area!

First this is such a cool location! Beautiful spaces, exposed brick. It is, after all, in an old…read moreproduce exchange warehouse. Super clean restaurant and bathrooms, as well. We ate in the bar - loved the vibe down there! The food was amazing! We started with salads - Caesar for the Hubby (as usual) and the Spring Salad for me (I subbed blue cheese for the goat cheese - I'm not a fan of goat cheese). Both salads were super fresh. They make their dressings in house and it shows. Ribeye rare for the Hubby and Filet mid-rare for me. We both had the crème fresh mashed potatoes. Steaks were cooked perfectly. And let me tell you, if you get anything, GET THE MASHED POTATOES!!! I swear these were the best I have ever had in my life. No joke - that includes my homemade and my Moms and Grandma's. Seriously. It's worthy to note that I asked for salt & pepper, as there was none on the table. It takes a really confident chef to not have salt & pepper on the table. So of course, I tasted first. I honestly did NOT use not one grain of either. The food didn't need it. Everything was seasoned perfectly! We ended the meal with crème brûlée, because if it's on the menu, we are ordering it. It was exceptional! Easily the second best we've ever had - and we've eaten a LOT of crème brûlée in our years. The service was absolutely spot on. There were 3 people working down there on this Wednesday night and they showed incredible teamwork. Super friendly, efficient and very customer service forward. Whenever we are in this area again, we will definitely eat here!!

This is a true steakhouse, so remember you are paying for quality, and that's exactly what you receive here. I wish you all were closer to our home because you'd be seeing a lot more of us.
