One of the most beautiful places we stayed at. So close to town and yet so isolated, peaceful and amazingly beautiful. Dave took care of us so nicely, and made my wife's birthday an absolute joy. Would love to come back

Just stayed at the Bed & Breakfast 3/20-3/22. This home is absolutely beautiful! Upon arrival we were greeted promptly by Dave, one of the inn keepers. My husband and I stayed at the Bed & Breakfast to celebrate our 5th anniversary. When we got to our room the "Good Friends" suite we had a cute little "Happy Anniversary" sign as well as some chocolates. Our room included a private porch and huge jacuzzi tub! We definitely took advantage of both. We also had a mini fridge (stocked with soda and water) and a coffee machine (with teas, coffee, and hot chocolate). The great thing about the "Good Friends" suite was that it is the only room located downstairs, thereby adding some more privacy to your stay. The common areas were nice. There was a porch with rocking chairs to look out over the gorgeous view. Upstairs there was a small common area with a large selection of DVDs and a puzzle to work on if one wanted to. There was also peanut M&Ms, pretzels, and cookies available in the common areas during the day. Breakfast was good. The first day we had baked grapefruit, waffles with fruit, AMAZING bacon, and were offered an ice cream sundae for dessert. The second morning we had fruit with yogurt and homemade granola (which was very good!), and an egg casserole type dish (I can't remember the name). We also liked visiting with their dogs, Deuce and Tucker, and their cat Lilly. The pets all stayed in a separate area, away from guests. The only negatives I found were some of the amenities were lacking (when compared to other bed & breakfasts I've been too) and the decor wasn't my style (a little too early 90s for me). All in all I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing weekend in small town America. Dave and Karen, the inn keepers, are so very accommodating and a very sweet couple. You can definitely tell they are hard working people!

Such a beautiful property, with an amazing view! Very convenient to all of the little shops and restaurants in Lexington. We recently stayed at Brierley Hill for a short little 2-night getaway. Our room, Eagles View, was lovely and the view in the morning--of the fog sitting down in the valley and the fall foliage--was stunning! We greatly appreciated that the tables in the breakfast room were comfortably 'social-distanced.' The breakfasts themselves were delicious, and we also appreciated that coffee was available before breakfast, especially with a later breakfast seating. Without question, we'll look at staying at Brierley Hill again, when we're next in the Lexington area!

I was already not in the mood for anymore drinking after spending a weekend in a major tournament in Lynchburg. Anyways, for a Saturday evening, this place was pretty packed both inside and outside. We both ended up getting a flight of beers each and every one was great. The food surprised me as my fish tacos was super fresh. The chips and queso was also great. Overall, a must see - especially for the view of the mountains if you decided to eat outdoors.

They just do them all very slowly or at least they did when I was there. We came here on a Monday evening, and it was somewhat busy but there were visible empty tables and a couple spots at the bar. We went to the bar and waited awhile before the bartender asked what we wanted. I didn't ask for a flight because he seemed too busy. Whatever I wanted they were out of, but I ended up with an Imperial 16-point IPA which was quite tasty. I also got some chicken nachos, but I had to go stand in line to order them. They were adequate but not worth the wait. The place was very disorganized. They had workers always standing by the hostess desk, but the bartender was overwhelmed. Seemed like they should have had more than one, after all it is a brewery. Would have loved to try more beer but we just left and went back into Lexington for another round at another place. I don't know maybe it was just a bad night.

Brian was our server both times, and he even remembered what we ordered on our previous visit--a level of hospitality that's hard to find. Our waitress, I believe her name was Emily, was so sweet and very helpful when it came to deciding what to order. She was very personable, and we chatted with her about all kinds of things whenever she'd come by the table. This place had comfortable booths, and a lovely bar. They have a great happy hour menu, which we ordered from. Do not miss the truffle popcorn. I am still dreaming of this! Truffle oil and parmesan cheese on perfectly popped and salted popcorn. We also had the hot honey and Parmesan chicken wings which were crisp and delicious, and a harvest salad. So good. We would be here all the time if we lived close. Do not miss this place if you are in town!

As always, we were greeted with a warm smile and seated immediately. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and efficient, and she brought over some decadent garlic knots for us to enjoy while we waited for our meal. Of course, our meal was really nice! A little over cooked coconut chicken, but still very tasty! Beyond our own wonderful experience, I couldn't help but notice the exceptional service being provided to another table. I have honestly never witnessed wine service quite like that in person! The customer ordered a bottle of wine, and the waiter promptly brought it to the table carrying it as though he were presenting a million-dollar bottle. He carefully opened it right at the table and allowed the guests to taste the wine before offering to fill their glasses. For a moment, I felt like I had stepped into a black-tie, Michelin-star restaurant! The attention to detail, presentation, and genuine care he gave that table were absolutely impeccable. While our own service was wonderful, I couldn't help but notice that extra touch of grandeur being extended to his guests. THAT is what exceptional service looks like! Way to go, Vito's! We ate in the bar - loved the vibe down there! The food was amazing! We started with salads - Caesar for the Hubby (as usual) and the Spring Salad for me (I subbed blue cheese for the goat cheese - I'm not a fan of goat cheese). Both salads were super fresh. They make their dressings in house and it shows. Ribeye rare for the Hubby and Filet mid-rare for me. We both had the crème fresh mashed potatoes. Steaks were cooked perfectly. And let me tell you, if you get anything, GET THE MASHED POTATOES!!! I swear these were the best I have ever had in my life. No joke - that includes my homemade and my Moms and Grandma's. Seriously. It's worthy to note that I asked for salt & pepper, as there was none on the table. It takes a really confident chef to not have salt & pepper on the table. So of course, I tasted first. I honestly did NOT use not one grain of either. The food didn't need it. Everything was seasoned perfectly! We ended the meal with crème brûlée, because if it's on the menu, we are ordering it. It was exceptional! Easily the second best we've ever had - and we've eaten a LOT of crème brûlée in our years. The service was absolutely spot on. There were 3 people working down there on this Wednesday night and they showed incredible teamwork. Super friendly, efficient and very customer service forward.
