Something my dentist never mentioned. The receptionist explained the advantages of an implant and said if I wanted an implant I would probably need a bone graft. She also went over costs. I went in for my appointment and everything went well. Dr. Sisto & staff were very professional and caring. A few months later I went back to have 2 implants placed. Again, I had no issues & no pain during or after the procedure. I had several check up appointments in between and after the procedures and nothing has changed. Across three procedures from 2021 to 2025, after reviewing the history of my account, I was quoted a lower price each time and then billed more after the procedures were done. They blamed the insurance and the app they use to estimate, but the fact is they don't do pre-authorization for their quotes. For my recent procedure in 2025, they failed to disclose a prior denial for the same code and same tooth from 2021, yet still gave me a quote that was wrong and later told me the insurance "unexpectedly declined" the same code. They also pre-charged me before insurance finished processing, without my consent, which broke their own policy and added confusion to the bill. This left me questioning whether they already anticipated there would be a remaining balance - otherwise, the pre-charge and refund back doesn't make any sense. When I reviewed the documents they sent me, I also found another patient's EOB in my file. Overall, this office shows a pattern of low quoting followed by higher bills, lacks transparency in billing, and fails to safeguard patient privacy. If this is their standard practice, I can only imagine how many patients may have ended up with the same experience I had.

Their staff estimated my service to be $2000+ for a tooth extraction, for which they estimated my insurance would pay half the amount, leaving my responsibility to be $1061.00. to which I paid before I left the premise. A month or two later, I received a bill for $1076.50 - the amount my insurance denied. Looking back, I realized I was naive and they manipulated the situation. I thought they would be accurate by merit that Dr. Jodhan's was a professional organization, that their estimates were accurate based on experience. It was after they put my apron for surgery was put that that said I needed to confirm. I assumed that because they were professionals, I might be obligated to pay $100-200. Also, when though the estimated included a tooth graft, they have the recommendation again - thinking back they knew it was optional all along! $1000+ is a huge amount. Knowing that the insurance company pays a substantially lesser amount than the listed price. And their estimate was way off. I called to discuss a mutually responsible settlement. After ignoring 5+ calls, Dr. Nikisha Jodhan instructed that I could pay the full amount with a payment plan. I find her actions to be irresponsive, manipulative, and misleading--which will cost me $1000+ more than I expected She offered a payment plan after I declared to publicize my experience. I am setting up the payment plan, and I plan to share my experience. I have sent her a similar email--continuing to request discussion. She has not responded. VERIFY ALL INFORMATION BEFORE SITTING ON HER CHAIR!

The procedure itself: a dream experience compared to the root canal I had a few years ago at a different office. Dr. Gilbert was in favor of me listening to my book with headphones to help me be comfortable. He clearly relayed info as needed and was very receptive to my hand signals if I needed anything. The best part? Half an hour! No crown! No pain! My other half didn't believe it could be done so well and so quickly. He's just a pro! Wow - I had two root canals that needed to be done and they both happen to be above a bridge of…read moreteeth. The bridge was old and vulnerable, I was worried and asked Dr Gilbert if he could do the root canal surgery by going through my gum instead of the teeth in the bridge. That is exactly what he did, a very intensive procedure he handled with total precision. I felt no pain at any time. The doctor even had the latest equipment to control the speed/flow of my Novocaine injections so they would not hurt. After the procedure and stitches, I followed Dr Gilbert's advice and am experiencing a remarkable recovery. His staff and assistants are a pleasure to meet and work with whenever you are there. This has always been the one surgery I dreaded because of her love for food. She also can only drink with a straw. I was worried about dry socket and sedation in an office. The surgery was great and rather easy. He said she could eat anything and drink from her straw. He packed the holes with collagen so we didin't have to worry about dry socket. The first 24 hrs were amazing, then one hole got infected. She "chipmunk"s her food. We didn't rinse well. Dr. Loeser gave us a few options. First change the antibiotics and he would help us keep her out of the hospital. So everyday I syringed a bacteria cleanser in the hole and went to his office everyday in between his patients for 2 weeks. I didn't have to but it helped me to know it was getting better not worse. He was patient with me, kind to her and we stayed out the hospital. His staff went above and beyond for us. They made accommodations that most places wouldn't do. Besides all the extra care, the offices are clean and his prices are reasonable.
