This was not a simple procedure. The crown and abutment were extremely difficult to remove, and there was uncertainty about what would be found underneath. Dr. Kakos was willing to take on a challenge that many others would not, working carefully and persistently to help preserve my existing implant rather than moving straight to removal. His kindness, confidence, and willingness to help made an incredibly stressful situation much easier to handle. Thanks to his expertise and determination, the implant was saved and I can move forward with the next stage of treatment. Frustrated of Unexpected Billing Charges. But each time our family would undergo for a procedure, we get surprised of the bill and always being told it's our previous balance from the last procedure. This facility needs to be transparent to their patient especially on billing charges that was not informed before the procedure. We feel that we are being trapped on the situation. It gives us a financial burden. Not happy about it.

Of course, they do a good job cleaning/polishing your teeth. For the most part, they are very good at diagnosing and fixing any dental problems. We've experienced times where we were billed for services covered by insurance, or received collection calls when bills were paid. While I like the practice, the main problem seems to be their billing department. I doubt they are doing anything on purpose, but it seems like billing isn't checking their work before sending out bills. We've argued charges several times now, and it is getting to the point where, if they don't get their act together, we may be forced to leave their practice.

Also, this office took a $3,000 deposit, which other dentists usually did not do before completing the treatment. I attached my Treatment Plan/estimate from Dr. Katsnelson for your judgement. Everyone was knowledgeable and explained everything in great detail, which established trust immediately. I like that they let me know what they recommended, but didn't push me to decide immediately.
