I'm glad that Bright Ice has made it over to Tampa, but the location is difficult it you're not in downtown/Harbour Island based on the parking situation. I love Bright Ice. Their roasted strawberry with balsamic is sooooo delicious. I do think Chill Bros does a better ice cream, but I love the flavor profiles at Bright Ice. On this visit, I tried the Florida Sunburn, which was key lime with mango jam and some sort of pepper (habanero?) that gave a kick at the end. It was delicious, but the texture wasn't quite right to me. They do work with some delivery services, so if you want to try them out, there's that option instead of dealing with the limited metered parking in the area. read more

I stopped in this ice cream shop when we're down in Tampa on a business trip. It is very nice inside and a good selection of ice cream. They have brown butter vanilla made with brown sugar rather than white sugar, which we chose. It was delicious, I would highly highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area and you like ice cream . They have a good selection, such as blueberry crumb and different flavors like that. They don't have very much seating inside, so we sat out in the front until it started to rain, and then ran back to our hotel. It is fairly expensive for a scoop of ice cream.
