Hampton Chocolate Factory was a really fun stop during our visit to Sparkman Wharf, and it's definitely a place I'd love to return to. My dad and I had a great time browsing the selection of international candies and ended up picking up a bunch of treats from countries like Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. It's always fun trying snacks and candies from different parts of the world and seeing how they compare to what we're used to. My personal favourite was the Raspberry Fizz bottle candies, which I believe are from Sweden. They were absolutely delicious and easily the standout candy from our haul. While we focused on the imported candy this visit, the ice cream, chocolate, and other desserts all looked incredible as well. Everything in the display cases looked tempting, so we'll definitely have to come back and try some of those next time. The staff were great too; kind, patient, and happy to help as we looked through all the different options. If you're visiting Sparkman Wharf and have a sweet tooth, this is absolutely worth a stop! We made a stop a Sparksman wharf last night for a sweet treat from the Hampton Chocolate Factory. It was still a little bit cold out, so we decided to get there hot chocolate. A little busy inside but not terrible. I decided on a White Chocolate Hot Chocolate that was really good, they coated the cup in White Chocolate and mini marshmallows then they added a milk chocolate hot chocolate drink into the cup then add whipped cream more mini marshmallows and topped it with more white chocolate! If you're in Tampa and looking for a nice place to grab a bite, this little area around Hampton Chocolate Factory is great, but you need to make sure you stop by for dessert! While they have a variety of chocolates, it was the massive and delicious ice cream that drew us in. FOOD: A nice variety of chocolate delectables to choose from but we can in specifically for the ice cream. Even sharing it, it was a mouthful! They pile it on, but each bite tasted great. Sometimes places like this put TOO much on and then you can't really savor the ice cream but we didn't feel like that was the case at all. Totally worth this high quality dessert. It's located on the Wharf so there are plenty of places to choose from but when it comes to desserts this is a must try. They are most famous for their 5lbs ice cream cone challenge which the worker mentioned is actually a pretty common order. I stuck with the cashier's favorite - I forgot what it was called but it was a cookie butter sundae with some cheesecake pieces and a white chocolate drizzle. It was so sweet but tasted so good. I've had this place bookmarked and happened to be in the neighborhood for lunch. While I did not get to have the giant cone at my visit, I did enjoy my ice cream! The prices are on the high end. I realize this is because everything is a sundae. You cannot find just plain ice cream on the menu unless you just don't choose any toppings. The cost of most toppings are already included in the price you are paying though. Normally, I would just regular ice cream but I decided to try and get some value and chose the chocolate chip sundae. Service wasn't very fast. They made each order carefully though. I watched as the worker scooped a crazy amount of chips into my cup, filled it with ice cream, rolled it in some more chips, and then drizzled it with chocolate. Served on a plate because that's the only safe way. I was pretty full from my meal and there was way more chewing involved with eating this sundae than I'd like, but I think it's a fun place to get something different and still of high quality. We were walking past this shop and were drawn in by the sign advertising their Dubai chocolate specials. They were selling Dubai chocolate sundaes and Dubai chocolate covered strawberries. I believe they'll continue to sell them until June. The interior has a very luxe vibe with a black and white motif. There's also a giant statue of an ice cream cone which makes for good pictures. The person who took our order was very sweet and our chosen ice cream was ready soon after. The sundae itself was absolutely delicious! The pistachio cream was to die for and the ice cream was smooth, creamy, and complimented the pistachio nicely. It's definitely a huge portion for one person to eat alone, although it's so good that you might not want to share!
