I really want to say this place is awesome but I can only give 3 stars because... the owners shorten the washer cycles on purpose in hope of have more business. I have never seen 25 mins wash cycles even when it's a short wash when I had an in unit washer in my previous apartments. They have an app for all their machines and the app time for the machines are very different when theirs. I have no choice but to go there. If the owners are reading... a longer cycle will be much appreciated. We all need cleaner clothes!!!! read more

Helped me with my wash, was insightful on how to wash, runs the place like how all businesses should be run. Just your average laundromat. They have soap and dryer sheets if you need it. Place is very clean, at least when I went in. Depending on your wash load I would look around at the different washers as they all might look similar but make sure to read the labels. The larger the more expensive and the larger are closer to the door. So make sure to walk around and don't just put your money in just any machine. There are I believe 4 different style of washers. All the dryers are the same it seems for the most part. I had an issue changing the drying temp on the dryer after I started putting my quarters in so I'm not sure if you have to change it before you put your money in but I would do it just in case. Other than that it is just near the in-laws and my comforter won't fit my washer or dryer so don't have a choice. By the other reviews seems like an ok place and the owners are good about getting back to you if you have issues, which is always nice. read more

Wash is $4.00, soap is $1.00. Clean, not the cheapest, but quiet on a Sunday evening, the place was empty besides one gal that was leaving as I came in around 6:30pm, and this is a convenient location on Taraval. There's no wifi, and I didn't spot any magazines so come prepared with a book or headphones or something to pass the time. It's right on the corner of 39th and Taraval. There's street parking but you may have to drive around a bit to find it, only on one side of the street. Directly in front of the laundromat there is only one parking spot, but plenty before and after this corner. This is close to ocean beach and if you live in this neighborhood it's an easy walk. read more

This place is filthy, I'll never come back. Flys inside at entrance. Soap dispensers in washing machines are gross.

First great part - proximity. I live next door and don't have laundry facilities, so this is my go to. But it's really a pleasant place to do your laundry. It's clean, I've never had to wait for a machine - ever - they have two coin changers, single, double, and triple load machines (at 6, 10, and 18 quarters a load, respectively), and huge dryers that are always open (25 cents for 7 minutes). They also have the little machine with soap and such if you forgot. The owners are often around on Sundays, making sure the machines are in working order, cleaning, etc. I've never seen a broken machine here. And the other plus -- it's not all janky and sketchy like some laundromats. I've not heard rumors about some weirdo stealing women's panties here -- can't say that for places I've done laundry before. They open at 6AM, last load at 9:30PM, close at 11:00PM. In my experience this place has served its purpose just fine. It's a bit pricey (28 coins for a jumbo machine!!) but all of the equipment is generally in good working order. There are lots of washers and dryers too. The change machines and soap dispenser have never failed me. A few gripes: There are very few chairs ... really almost nowhere to sit on a busy day. They really should put some effort into keeping the place cleaner. It looks like a frat house at most times. Not many rolling carts. Never have I ever seen a human employee in there taking care of business. read more

Have never done a laundry at a laundromat before but the owner was nice and friendly. There are 2 change machines, another machine that sell detergent and softener for 75 cents each. The small washer run at 10 quarters although I did notice that it run after i put the 8th quarter in. Dryers are 7 min for a quarter. There are about 25 washers with various sizes and 24 dryers so you never have to wait for someone else to finish their laundry. There is also a long table for you to wash your clothes and some trolleys so that you can move your wet laundry to the dryers easily. The owner was replenishing the machines while I was there and cleaning and sweeping the place when I was about to leave. Down the street there is a Walgreens, grocery stores, some Thai and Chinese restaurants if you don't want to stay and wait at the laundromat. read more

Each time I come here the people have their cars blocking crosswalks or double-parked for a couple hours without lights at night. When inside the people are sitting inside asleep or having their kids just run around the place like a gym. The place it's is cold or cold nights and hot in the afternoon when the sun comes on in. Not bad. The washer/dryer in my apartment complex was going to be tied up for a while so I decided to make the track up Taraval to this laundromat. There was not adequate parking so I took my chances at parking in the crosswalk area on Taraval. Risky I know but my basket was spilling over. I ran inside just long enough to throw two loads in. It was originally three but the washer was asking for $4.75 so I consolidated what I could. I'll take the bedding to my parents house at this rate. Anyways, they have WiFi which was cool. I also brought wine lol. I did some work on my computer while my clothes washed. They have cool music playing in the background which was enjoyable. All in all this place saved me time but not money. I would still come back if I was in a pinch. Very clean. Quiet. No nonsense. Also there's a Walgreens down the street, Thai food, pizza, and a bar if you need a place to go while laundry is being done. read more

I live down the block so I've been coming here for a few years. Clean old school place. Two coin machines and a good amount of washers and dryers. Never really got too crowded whenever I came so that's good for me! I have bad luck with washers sometimes and I've lost money twice here, but every time, the owner has given me a refund. In fact, on the second time he personally reached out to me to make sure it wouldn't get lost in the mail! That's great customer service if you ask me. I was absentminded one day and I accidently left $10 I'm coins in the coin changer after taking out $10 from a $20. I came back and the owners were there and even though I didn't look like I was missing money they ask me if I left money behind. I thought to myself and finally realized I did and I guessed the right amount they were looking for (10) and they gave it back to me! They also upkeep and maintain the dryers and washers really well. Being new to the city, this was my first time having to use a laundromat. I have to say it was A PLEASURE doing business with this establishment. The dryers are huge and very reasonably priced at $0.25 per 7 minutes. In addition they had no problem thoroughly drying my above average sized load with only $2 in quarters. I don't really review laundry mats, however I have to give this one 5 stars. Why? I accidentally left my purse there and when I came back a few minutes later it was gone-no surprise, this IS SF! Anyways after panicking and calling all of my cc companies I decided to call the laundromat and see if maybe they could catch something on camera. The owner was very nice and immediately knew who I was and said my purse was there WITH EVERYTHING STILL IN IT! :0 he told me where to find it in a safe place where no one would see it and it was there just like he said! So I want to give a big shout out to the Awesome Good Samaritan who found my purse, called the owner, put it in a safe place AND didn't steal anything- you are truly a rare breed -and to the owner for being so responsive and cool about the whole thing! read more

Not a bad laundromat. Pretty big with a decent amount of machines and dryers. This place was a mess when I was here. Maybe I hit it up on an off cleaning day, but there were dryer sheets and trash all over the floor. The machines itself were actually pretty clean. Parking is pretty easy with several spots right in front. Enough carts and folding table space. Cost is in-line with the rest of the city. Walgreens down the street if you need anything. This laundromat opens early in the morning (not sure the time) and closes at 11pm. The last wash is 9:30pm. There are some nice, big washers there that will fit your whole laundry in at once for $4.50! Some of the dryers give you 10 minutes for a quarter, but some only give you 8. Still, this is the cheapest laundry i've done, it used to cost me $15 ish a time and here it costs $6 or $7! It's not usually too crowded and there are 2 coin changers. I only wish they'd use one of those card systems instead of coins. read more

This place is definitely A-Ok. Reasonably priced and mostly clean but what irks me is that there is black stuff (hopefully not mold) collecting where you put detergent and softener in almost all the front loaders. Some of the dryers are super stubborn with taking quarters. The only real beef with this laundromat is that there is only one newish laundry basket and you know grandma is going to hoard it for hours. I am sure they are pricey but it would be great if the old rust buckets were replaced. read more

As the name implies this coin laundry is both bright and clean. I have been coming here for many years even though there are other coin laundry places closer to where I live. Roberto and Frank show great pride of ownership by keeping the business living up to the name and keeping the machines updated and in working order. Prices are fair and in line with other coin op places. Parking can be a bit difficult and I usually am able to find a good parking spot within a few minutes. read more

There are also a lot of dryers (I counted 24) to use so there was no waiting. The place was well lit and the people using the facility looked friendly.
