I believe it was around 3:00 on a Saturday. A young lady greeted me and asked me to sign in. There were sooo many gel colors to choose from... I'll give them that. I've never been to a nail salon that had that many choices. The service felt like it was rushed. The girl who was doing my nails didn't say a word to me. She answered a FaceTime call in the middle of the service. I guess there are certain bosses that allow you to do that, or maybe she was the boss, because no one else was on their cell phone. Not sure, but it was a disruption and she paused while she took the call, adding more time to the service. After my manicure and pedicure, I went up to pay. The girl who was taking care of me picked up her purse and hoodie, walked out to her car and zoomed off. Perhaps it was the end of her shift. Again, I definitely got weird vibes from the whole experience so I don't think I'll be returning.

Every time I walk in I am greeted warmly by all the staff. Customers feel so comfortable we actually engage in conversations with each other. Every time I come in Vikki the owner has new colors to choose from. Its almost overwhelming because its just so hard to choose! They are constantly upgrading tools and other accessories to give maximum comfort and safety to clients. Last month I indulged in an amazing pedicure, which legitimately looks like I was just done within the past week even after wearing closed toed shoes every single day. When I broke out my sandals for the beautiful weather, my feet looked amazing. No cracks, chips, smudging...and because of the meticulous work they do on the cuticles, you can barely even see growth. I will never again go to another business for my nails care needs. Additionally, I decided to get an eyebrow wax done. Ive been trying to grow mine out for quite some time after being butchered sone place else, and they look so lovely. I previously had problems with wax, but they ate so clean and sanitary, as well as gentle, there there was no residual issues. I sat soaking for almost an hour and the water was cold by the time they got to me. It was SUPER busy so I didnt complain. The gentleman that did my pedicure seemed to be the one in charge. Since it was busy, I was expecting him to rush, but I kept it simple with a basic pedi and he did a great job. The massage was perfect! I'll try them again when it's not busy and I am able to really enjoy the services.

I could not believe that my daughter's nails look exactly like the picture when we left. The owner is truly an artist. We all got pedicures and manicures. The service was excellent. Ellie's has taken all precautions to limit exposure, including masks, sanitizing and limiting only 2 clients in the shop at 1 time. I felt very comfortable. It's been some years since I last visited and I was definitely in sticker shock when they told me the price!! When first started going, the neck rub was included free with nail service, I got my nails done first and no massage was given. When I got my pedicure, it clearly states, if you upgrade the massage is included in the price. It's not worth me traveling the distance to get my nails done, they aren't immaculate so I wasn't impressed. I guess all good or great things don't stay the same. You win some!! But not all the time. I will say they have moved one or two doors done so the business is definitely bigger, not better just bigger.
