First off I want to say thank you to Dr. Ben and his team. I have never felt more comfortable and at ease at a Dentist office. I had avoided the dentist for 15 years, because of my fear of the pain of dental work. Dr. Ben made sure I knew exactly what he was doing before and during the visit. This was my first visit and I was extremely happy with the service I received! All of the staff members were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Jessica and Emily were both so sweet and helped me feel welcome as soon as I walked in. Tammie was so charming and made me feel at ease as she took my scans. Romeo had such a calming demeanor and made my teeth whitening process so pleasant. Dr. Ben was absolutely amazing and skillful. He accepted my request for a cosmetic work on the spot and explained the steps thoroughly, making sure that I was comfortable throughout the whole process. If you need an Extraction or 10 ever, The BEST dentist I have ever been too is Duy Nguyen he is so AMAZING I literally felt nothing! Omg I'm so happy. And his assistant Mara bell was quick and wonderful and definitely knew what she was doing!! Don't ever go anywhere else because he took less then 20 minutes from beginning to end from numbness to 2 major extractions, I was so happy I gave him a hug(he probably thought I was strange) but after having a horrible experience some place else I was excited those teeth finally are out. The 2 front desk ladies are so sweet Karen and Merkesia calmed me down from the beginning. I will drive from Long Beach to Stanton ANYTIME for this Dentist!!! After going to 3 other dentists in a week all saying they couldn't do it, I was unsure Dr Nguyen could do what I was told only an oral surgeon could do. Oh how wrong I was! It is true I had a good initial visit, and getting my periodontal disease taken care of was fine. HOWEVER, getting my wisdom teeth done here was a mistake. There's too much to write on it, but basically it was a horror story. I'm in the process of seeking legal counsel to possibly sue this company for the treatment I endured. ON TOP OF THAT I was overcharged. I know I was because I questioned the receptionist at the time of the payment. I was paid up but she said I wasn't and I couldn't go forward with the surgery unless I paid. So I paid more. Then come December (over 6mos after my visit) I'm told I should have a refund. I only have 30 days to claim the refund--I go in person to give them a filled out paper from the mail just a few days after I got it. Well within the 30 day mark. I even have them photocopy it, and am told it'll be given to the manager that morning. All is good, I leave--hahahaha, nope, not good. I called a week later to be sure my paper was received and processed. Was told it was! Only the start of the nightmare, really. Then I call back start of Jan. "Where's my refund?" Am told to call corporate, call them, told to call office, told to call corporate--see where this is going? Finally just get a conference call between the supposed manager and the person at corporate. Am told at the start of Jan that the refund is processed. That I'll get a check 4-6 weeks. Call back now, 4 weeks later, told it was never processed! There's no notes about being processed! No one says anything happened at all and corporate can't do anything because THE OFFICE MANGER HAS TO APPROVE IT. Only she isn't. Somehow she won't. Then cherry on top, I'm told again, "If you don't process it it'll go to state collections" lol yeah I know that's why it's so goddamn frustrating!! This place is awful. Just 100% garbage. Never go here. I rather get my teeth done by a friend in his basement then ever step foot into this office again. So BUYER BEWARE they just want to steal your money and treat you terribly. They don't care about customer service or people at all. They just want to earn an extra buck. The manager probably lines her pockets with these refunds that never get processed. read more

Horrible service. I had an appointment and they didn't see me until two hours later.. The girls in the front are rude and unprofessional.. talking about margarita Mondays, hangover Tuesdays, and other non-work related crap. I asked when I would be seen and she responded with "you can go to our location in Westminster if you're not happy here". They also have a security guy who just stands around on his phone the whole damn time.. I didn't know you can get paid to stand against your car and talk on the phone for an hour. Dear charlotte, My husband is you guys patient in the beach staton location. We went there 2 months ago for the deep cleaning and we paid 210$+ insurance pay the other money. And its coming so dirty in the anterior lower. Still a lots of calculus there. And the doctor told the front desk girl that ask us come back on July for another check up. The second time we went there I already mention again a lots of calculus in the lower anterior still there but the doctor JUST POLISH my husband teeth and send him home. 3 weeks later which means yesterday I called in and said my husband gum is swallowing on the 24 and 25 area. They booked me appointment today and I waited another 30 mins come in and the doctor wanna charge us 260$ again just for regular cleaning. Thats crazy. I told him that at the first time he already didn't clean it well and he said he did. I told him we will not come back again and he said thats fine. You guys lost customers this way. I've gone here for my braces and the people who did them were wonderful so I had a pleasant experience. However, the wait sometimes would be awhile and they're always changing their days of when you can come in to do your braces which can be an inconvenience sometimes. However, I've always had terrible experiences with their receptionists and it always seems like they don't know how to do their job or can't remember anything. Years later and it's still the same problem. I'm not even surprised. How are you going to call my sister to remind her to not eat anything after midnight for his wisdom teeth removal and the next morning say, "Oh, I thought you wanted to keep the other date. Place is a little dirty inside. X-rays were taken two days prior to my coming here by the dentist who scheduled me to see this oral surgeon and they want to take x-rays again...hmmm how much money do they charge for x-rays? What are the side effects of x-rays? I was scheduled for 11 AM 11:30 AM and I'm still not into see the doctor. Obviously their appointment schedule is much more important than mine. In less than two minutes the doctor says I do not need oral surgery. So glad I Didn't agree to the x-rays that the receptionist insisted on. If time is important to you, I do not recommend coming here. I had set up my appointment at 4:00 PM to see the dentist. I came around right on time and expected to wait 10-15 minutes before getting seen. 30 minutes later and I finally got called in to get an x-ray. After that, I had to wait for the dentist and I waited over an hour. My mom asked what was taking so long, and all they said was sorry and that they'll be right with us. So we waited. It was 5:30 at this point and I finally got called in. The dentist just checked my teeth and did no cleaning or whatsoever, and they asked me to wait for a while so they can get my sister checked. After she finished, they called us to stay outside. It was around 5:50 at this point and they told me I had to reschedule an appointment because the dentist had too many patients today and he doesn't do anything in the late afternoon. WHAT?! You're telling me I waited two hours for NOTHING TO BE DONE and you're asking me to come back another day? I had an appointment for a reason, and I expected to be in and out in an hour at least. If the dentist had too many patients today, then why did you schedule me an appointment? Did you overbook? Ridiculous. If there were so many people, the least the receptionists could've done was tell me sooner so I didn't waste two hours of my day waiting. This wasn't even the first time this happened. I am so upset. My visits here till today has been pleasant. Although I was hesitant In returning here due to the many staff changes, I gave it another try. Needless to say I went to my appointment on time, waited 45 minutes till I got up to ask when I would be seen, I was advised I would be seen next. Waited about 10 minutes and got called back to do my xrays, then our in a room to wait once more. The dentist came in to examine me and xrays maybe ten minutes I was advised I needed a filling agreed to this and waited about 25 more minutes, I was then advised that I could not be treated for another 2 to 2 half hours needless to say I left being very upset contacted my insurance and I will be changing What a horrible experience read more

TERRIBLE PLACE!!! THEY SCAM YOUR INSURANCE AND YOU!!! I had just gone to the dentist a few months prior to coming here and my dentist said my mouth was healthy and I might just need a new set of braces and remove my wisdom teeth prior to getting them. Till I changed jobs and had to get new insurance. That is when when I came to Bright NOW Dental in Stanton. The first thing they tell me in our first consultation is that I need full cleaning every six months. They told me my insurance covered the cleaning but then they tell me I also need sterilization done on my mouth ($50 per tooth even with my insurance. That is $1600!!!). And finally they wanted to do some extensive root canal operation even though I didn't need it. They also told me I needed to do a few other things which I didn't pay attention to at that point because everything was followed by "YOU REALLY NEED IT and more dollar $$$" by some woman whom I could barely understand her English. By the end of the day they were quoting me upwards of $4500.00. In fact, they made it seem like every tooth disease known to man was in my mouth, when my previous dentist had just told me my mouth was healthy and I didn't feel any pain or discomfort. I told them No thanks I just want the Wisdom Teeth removal which they made an appointment and then a possible brace set. After the surgery was done and my mouth was healed (about a week) I noticed that my second molar was broken and that the nerves were exposed. It would be extremely painful to bite onto food without my body jerking from all the pain. On the followup I told them they had broken my molar and now I was in pain. They tried to make me pay for a Filling and a Crown Operation, which was outrageous!!!! I demanded they fix the problem which they finally consented to by filling in the cavity at least. They placed this reddish filling in it which broke a few days later. I was so angry with them that I have not since gone back or made another appointment. These guys want you to go through their entire dental program so they can make more money from either you or your dental insurance, which makes the price of healthcare go UP for everyone else. HORRIBLE! Not only was the care brusque and hurried, the dentist ALSO tried to convince me that myself and my son were in DIRE need of expensive restoration! This was over a year and a half ago....and we have since closed our account with this office and moved on to another dentist (no expensive restoration was needed!!!) WE NOW HAVE A NEW BILL!!! under my SONS name...although our account has been closed 18 months, and the account was always under MY name! After calling to rectify this, was told "we don't have you name in our records...but you need to pay your bill......if we sent it you must owe..." MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED 18 MONTHS AGO-AND PAID UP! how can they bill me? was only in for a routine cleaning and x-rays...insurance paid all! guess they like to send out bills...years after the fact, and see who pays up! nice way to earn extra money! I wouldn't send a dying animal here. Let me tell you why. My mother needed dentures and when they checked her in for her surgery, they said she would have to come back. No one advised her that certain medications (other than the obvious) needed to be stopped. I lost a days pay at work because of that. Problem number 1. Problem number 2: they made her do the surgery at a different location in Westminster. Surgeon was fantastic. However....HER NEW DENTURES WERE AT THIS OFFICE!!!!! No one bothered to do their job and send her new dentures where she would be. So I had to go get them and take them to the surgeon. HUGE NEGLIGENCE! Problem 3: after 6 months of healing they're crooked. Yes, the teeth are not straight. They tried to say she was still swollen. CON JOB. We complained to the office manager, their manager and the Director. And no one wants to take responsibility. They want to charge her an additional $900 over the $3,000 she already paid!? Dishonest, CON JOB. Apparently they don't stand by their work. And guess what...... Problem 4: THE DENTURES BROKE TODAY!!!! It's only been 16 months since she received them. She went in today and they're making her wait to get a hold of the DIRECTOR to see what they can do. Oh...the BBB will hear about this one. So will the Dental Board. They do not care about their patients. They only want your money. DO NOT SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY HERE!!!! I have a very sad mother who won't go out in public because of these people. After I wrote my last review I got another call from Diana. Still rude. She asked if I wanted to schedule. I said "no". She paused, got upset and said, "you're aware they're going to turn into root canals?". I said "yup" (I guess they're the only dentist's office in the state then). Couple weeks later I get a letter stating I should come back because the insurance authorization is going to expire. Lmao. No other work was authorized, unless they sent something to my insurance without my knowledge, because I got a letter from my insurance that listed everything. Had a very bad experience with this dental clinic. Was seen by a specialist after waiting more than 1 hour, was advised that they need to refer me to a dental surgeon with respect to their diagnosis. Unfortunately after being told that someone will get back to me for my next procedure and sitting for almost half an hour, a dental assistant came over and said is someone seeing you already? After responding that I'm still waiting for my next procedure with teeth cleaning she said they will transfer me to another room but no one came back after another 20minutes of waiting. Saw one of the male dentist and asked what was going on and was surprised I was there with no one attending to me and forgot that they had a patient sitting on the dental chair. So I was directed to the receptionist who this middle age lady was very rude to wait for my turn to be called for cleaning? After informing her the events what happened to me her only response was ok just wait. Again after waiting forever I just asked one of the office staff for the Manager and informed her of my sad experience.
