Buyer Beware... This office claims that they are in network and participating with your insurance, but they really are NOT. I initially had a cleaning and paid at the office as they requested. I went back for additional work and the receptionist told me the initial dentist I saw was not in network and I would have to pay the balance of the bill $200+. We spoke about the work I was having done on the second visit and she confirmed today's dentist is in network, gave me the estimate and they proceeded to do the work. Turns out that was a flat out lie as I've just received an additional bill. This office does NOT participate with Cigna. Don't let them lie and tell you they do. I took my wife to this place to get some minor cosmetic dentistry done, nothing major. They wanted to do two root canals - on HEALTHY teeth, and, with the other work THEY insisted on doing (after they found out she had great insurance), it was going to cost over $5,000. They refused to do the cosmetic dentistry unless they did all of it. Yesterday she went to another dentist in Gainesville, GA - after getting an appointment in three days! - and the dentist did the cosmetic work in less than an hour and the cost was $195. These people are criminal and anyone that goes to them is a fool. read more

Bright smiles is charging me for their inaccurate insurance submission several years ago. All of a sudden they claim I owe them $227. Even with proof they submitted a claim incorrectly to my insurance. They have no statements from that timeframe just a statement number carryover. No actual statement. As a consumer I have to pay the amount because they have a disclaimer statement. Don't do business here. read more

Front Office is really bad in getting appointments. They call you in the last minute and cancel the appointment. On top of it, they don't see your Insurance details before scheduling the appointment. Had a bad experience coming to the office two times. read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I paid for the $98 exam and cleaning the website promoted, but after my exam the gum specialist said I was unable to get a cleaning? I have never missed a 6 month cleaning or had any gum issues that would prevent me from having a teeth cleaning. She did say I needed a $755 procedure done on 3 teeth before I could have my teeth cleaned? This company is going to take full advantage of new patients and recommend things you for don't need. I called to request a refund and the company refused. I don't know how a company can have such good ratings when they don't care for their patients. I have worked in hospitality industry for 20 years and never not refunded someone who was unsatisfied with a service or product. Don't waste your time here. read more

This place is dangerous. They lodged a file in my sons tooth and it broke off. They handed us our money back and told us to go somewhere else for the work. and it's going to cost us a huge amount of money to have the file removed. We don't have the money so we are screwed. They refuse to do anything about it, or pay to have the file that broke off removed. They just said it was a risk we agreed to. I don't know what we are going to do. My Daughter recommended Dr. Venkatesh and I couldn't be happier that she did, I just wish I had done it sooner. It is hard to find a comprehensive dentist who actually enjoys what she does and shows it in the way she takes care of her patients. It was a very good experience from the staff, to the actual office atmosphere which is very comfortable and accommodating. Venky is very thoughtful and efficient he was able to sort out my insurance and provided a detailed plan which he took time to explain. Where else can you be entertained while having your teeth done, The TV mounted on the ceiling was great. I have been looking for a great hygienist and Dr V has Dani who is fabulous. When everything comes together as it does at Bright smiles its a win win situation. read more

I am a new patient and was hoping to find a good dentist close to home. I had extremely bad experience with Bright Smiles staffs. On my first visit, which is a well visit, I was told my insurance does cover everything and my contribution is zero. After the visit I see from my insurance portal that the Xray wasn't covered because I am few months short of 2 years. The staff did a pre-check before my first visit and she confirmed everything was covered. Now I am told I have to pay $81. It is been more than 6 months and I still haven't got the bill from Bright Smiles where as in my insurance portal it is clearly shown they have closed this claim. Staff had no answers why this claim is still pending. The new staff is blaming on old staffs which I consider to be a poor practice .I would say their operation is inefficient. I also got a treatment plan in October 2016 and today I come to know the treatment plan was incorrect. Looks like the staff made a mistake. Initially they stated my insurance changed bla bla which is not true. I have same insurance and coverage for last 3 years. I never had such a bad experience with any of my medical providers. I wouldn't recommend Bright smiles to anyone. Staff Venkat who was talking to me was rude and act as sales person trying to market their products for double the retail prices. I am surprised to see all the good reviews which was one of the reason I considered Bright Smiles and now as I look at the other bad review I can say for sure these good reviews are manipulated. Their maintenance plan, which covers 2 cleanings and all x-rays each year, is so affordable and helped me save over $100 from my recent dental maintenance plan. They didn't charge me anything unnecessary and did exactly what I needed. This is my favorite dentist I've ever been to in my life I would highly recommend this place. I decided to try a new dentist and this one looked like it had good reviews. I wanted a second opinion on one very small cavity my current dentist told me I had. Instead of having just one cavity, I was told that I had FIVE cavities and one may even require a root canal. I went back to my regular dentist and they said I only needed one small filling... Seems pretty odd that something she was reporting as signiificant enough to potentially need a root canal was completely overlooked by my current dentist. Current dentist (who hasnt been wrong in the 7 years I have been going to him) did not see all of these other cavities she pointed out, even on new xrays! Once you get a filling you compromise the integrity of the tooth forever, so I do not take them lightly! Watch out for this place!!! They do not take a conservative approach to dentistry and seem most focused on profit. read more

I'd give Bright Smiles 10 stars if I could! Dr. Venkatesh is the most gentle and caring dentist I've ever met. She was thorough in her exam and explanations, caring, and she took her time assuring me that everything was going to be okay. (I have HORRIBLE anxiety due to past dental experiences.) I had a root canal and she never rushed me and she checked with me throughout the procedure to make sure I was always okay. She was genuinely concerned for me and my comfort and it showed. And her entire staff showed the same caring nature. I'm so glad I've found a dentist where I can relax instead of worrying. read more

Dr.V is the only reason I even like going to the dentist. She is funny, attentive, honest and thorough yet efficient. Best dentist hands down, in my life. Great dentist office! Came in after a recommendation from a friend. I hadn't been to the dentist in 1.5 years because I felt that my old dentist was only trying get me to pay for an unnecessary crown. My consultation was great and found out I definitely did not need a crown. The doctor and staff made me feel comfortable. They went over my treatment plan and made sure my questions were answered prior to leaving. My cleaning was easy and the hygienist was really nice! I've come back to get my cavities (3) taken care of and the doctor used a laser to remove my cavities (instead of numbing me) which was pretty cool as well as painless, quick and easy. The laser helped with sensitivity while she removed the cavities. I could speak clearly afterwards and could tell the doctor how to fix my bite once the fillings were done. The procedure was done in about an hour. In and out on a Saturday! I live an hour away, but I don't mind driving the distance because I feel really good about the staff and the health of my mouth!
