Detox went okay. Staff helpful. Room small, bed hard, hallway noisy. Food basic. Still felt safe and monitored.

Lisa at reception is wonderful, helpful and reassuring and I look forward to seeing both these women every time I go in. More info in case this helps another woman: I was in a debilitating painful, dark, scary place for two months before I found PHRC and pelvic floor therapist, Tiffany. I cannot recommend her and PHRC enough. Not only did Tiffany listen to everything I had to say with compassion, respect and patience, she was able to diagnose my problem within minutes. Something my ob/gyn wasn't able to do for months and something supposed "specialist" Dr. Alexandra Haessler at Sutter Health (very dismissive doctor) wasn't able to do even though she somehow bears the qualifications of "urogynecologist". It wasn't just that I needed physical therapy, Tiffany was able to correctly diagnose something very medical that both these doctors missed! I'm putting this in the review in case some other woman out there is being told that it's neuropathic and/or that nothing is wrong by Dr. H or anyone else in spite of her symptoms and feels hopeless. It's not you! It's real. I wouldn't trust that diagnosis until you see a pelvic pain specialist like Tiffany. Unfortunately MDs in the Bay Area seem very in the dark about pelvic pain. Even after knowing what my medical diagnosis was and getting proper treatment for it (thanks to Tiffany) I'm still struggling to find a provider who is knowledgeable in it and its not for lack of trying. PHRC's entire mission and specialty is to help men and women with this type of thing and it shows and it is life changing.

I went CAMPING again and finally felt well-rested. Last year, I was having some issues with urgency, so I asked for another referral and saw Summer since Maryssa had left and I was really nervous, but had no need to be. Again, spectacular treatment. I'm so happy. It's not just the clinicians -- the receptionist is friendly and helpful, the space is clean, and I'm so grateful I was able to receive treatment here. Sadly, they only take two forms of insurance: Kaiser and Brown & Toland.

If you are looking for a clean, professional, loving, caring, and dedicated facility for your loved…read moreone; look no further. This is a beautiful space where people go to recover, rehabilitate, and restore their dignity and their lives. My 69 year old mother was a patient here and when she arrived doctors could arguably confirm she should be going into hospice, but we believed in God for her recovery - thankfully the owner Jim believed she could recover also. When she arrived she could not speak, feed herself well, and was physically weak all over. I was SO anxious to leave her in this state, but was immediately assured by staff that she was in good hands, and that she was safe. They nurtured her as if she were their family and I knew then even more that we chose the correct location. Within weeks she saw an eye doctor, physical therapist, speech therapist and occupational therapist. She participated in multiple types of activities (finger painting, gardening, celebrating birthdays, and her favorite - bingo!). After a month my mom graduated from puréed foods to a better diet, could feed herself, had less confusion, and was improving every single day. I am now happy to report she is even stronger, mind is sharper, speech is amazing, and can tackle occupational tasks that this facility assisted her to accomplish. It is the little things that we do every single day that we don't realize we miss until we don't have them. When we find ourselves in this place we need somewhere to go to recover - this is your place! The owner (Jim) will acknowledge you, spend time to speak with you, and the way he looks after his employees and is always upgrading the space shows deeply how much he cares. In my moms time there, they completed a beautiful remodel. Not once did this facility wreak of any smell. Jim - as I write this tears fill my eyes. I am SO thankful to God for your work! I am thankful for your spirit, and for showing up as your true authentic self! To ALL of the staff of Richmond Post Acute - you are all SO valued! You are all SO amazing! I pray you know just how much of an impact you are to the lives you touch! I pray that favor falls upon you. From the peace within my spirit - vibrant love and gratitude to you all!

He was pompous and full of himself and put a bad taste in my mouth. It didn't take me long to decide this wasn't a good fit for mom. The place looked cleaned and the workers seemed nice. Most rooms appeared very small though with three beds to a room; not okay in my mind even for a short stay. Do your homework and hopefully, you'll have a different experience considering this place appealed to me as it was close to home and had good reviews. Tours are everything!

The trial and the FDA actually let both medical devices; and medications slide by the rigorous testing. I truly am saddened by the death and passing of Dr. Prof. Ashton in England who I think Alex knew. During a time when bentos were ushered into the landscape as barbiturates were killing so many people - Marilyn Monroe; Judy Garland and countless older celebrities they offered a good alternative but were not meant for daily use. I think out society sees addiction or pain as a weakness whereas people are extremely strong and brave who face any type of illness. I find it interesting that Portugal has a per capita overdose death of .0001 percent compared to the U.S. since today even opioid death is often an overdose from something laced with fentanyl, and other substances. I think the DEA needs to pursue the true criminals and cartels and not doctors. Surely, there are bad doctors and I don't agree with pill mills or pill pushing but doctors are in fear of their license. I have friends who have children that went to college and tried a pill and it was laced with something. One time and they lose their child. It's unforgivable and a complex issues. But I know the people at New Leaf helped many. S
