The rooms are clean and well maintained. The puzzles for the most part make sense and were solvable. The room used some technology and everything appeared to work correctly. Room was linear for a lot of it but did have sections where several activities could be completed at once. I'd say it was medium difficulty we asked for one hint and finished with 3 minutes to spare. I'd definitely return to try out the other two rooms at this location.

With our wits and the help of our game master Mike. We were able to escape. He was amazing. The only thing is some of the hints and puzzles were hard to see and or figure out because of either wear and tear or just the way it was structured. Things being rubbed off and the flashlights not being bright enough. Major Con: The only thing I don't like is all experiences most likely will be shared. I get it from a money aspect but you should be able to have an option for a private experience and pay a little extra instead of having to pay for all 8 spots. For me and my boyfriend we made it a tradition to do escape room the hardest ones actually. And having to possibly do it with other people and it depends on everyone to escape is just not our preference. The people who work there are really passionate and helpful.

I've done at least 30 different escape rooms in various parts of the country. This one is pretty…read moregood overall. We did the anomaly room (which based on reviews seems to be the most popular). The two of us finished with a few minutes left. It does feel a little low budget. The rooms are on the second floor in what feels like an office building. The intro to the room was given by the puzzlemaster himself with the best of his acting ability. But the mechanics were pretty cool and unique. It also was not strictly linear, meaning you did not necessarily need to solve all of the puzzles in order, which I liked. You have unlimited hints, and the puzzlemaster sometimes just gives you hints if it seems like you are stuck. One unlocking mechanism malfunctioned while we were in the room, so the puzzlemaster had to kick us out for a minute and fix it. The ending (no spoilers!) felt somewhat anticlimatic. But all-in-all it was pretty fun. There are not all that many escape rooms in Northern Jersey, so we will likely be back to try the other rooms.

So you reserve a room at a specific time and it's a public room so anyone can join the room I believe up until it starts. You might end up playing with strangers depending on the size of your group. Either way it might be a good thing. I was with a group of 3 and it was just us and it was a blast. The room is set up like a game show with buzzers. There are other props that come into play depending on the game. Theres a live hostess and Daniella was awesome. She made the games fun. There's a video screen that picks the games and then the hostess walks you thru the games. There are a bunch of different games to choose from and they range from trivia to building blocks and everything in between for game shows. Awesome and fun way to spend an hour or so.
