I, a haunted house fanatic, have experienced my fair share of doomed dwellings. This asylum experience ranks among the best. For a comparatively cheap ticket, you get two solid experiences (with "the asylum" being way better than "the tunnel"). Likewise, the place is extremely well organized (we actually went in 20 minutes before our ticket time). Lastly, you get some thrills just for standing in line! Came here Friday night with 2 of my sorority sisters and we had such an awesome time! We decided to get the attraction combo that included The Tunnel and the Asylum. Highly recommend doing The Tunnel before doing the Asylum and be prepared to wait awhile on line if you don't get the rapid pass. They do have different actors in gruesome costumes that entertain and scare you while you wait on line. Great opportunity to take selfies with them as well! I was impressed by the one that nailed a nail into his nose and removed it with a hammer!! But we got the rapid pass and our wait was about 5 minutes for each one. Totally worth the upgrade! Both attractions had real elaborate layouts with moving dead bodies hanging from the ceilings, a fridge filled with body parts, bridges that moved and the actors inside really playing their parts. What makes this place scary is the anticipation of what's going to happen or what is around the next corner. I swore they even had designated smells in some of the rooms especially the butcher room! It smelt like death. Overall, this place is worth a visit. Their attention to detail made all the rooms look super real and they set the tone the second you are walking towards the Asylum. Oh and they don't allow purses or bags inside the attractions so make sure you leave in the car or hide it lol read more

ESCAPETHEROOMers visited Brighton Asylum back in March 2018. The parking lot is in the back of the facility and the entrance is on the right side and the end. During the busy season, they have a parking lot offsite in which they provide complimentary shuttle buses to and from. They currently offer 3 haunted attractions - "Brighton Asylum", "The Tunnel", and "The Bleeding Grounds" and they are all top notch! You can experience all 3 of them for a bundle price. Besides the decor and set design, the surround sound and the lighting system throughout is on another level! They also have escape rooms which were outsourced on the build. There are two 5 minute escape rooms ("Bomb Squad" and "The Device") and two 60 minute escape rooms ("1408 Escape" and "Curse of the Tomb"). We are attempting to try both of their 60 minutes rooms starting with "1408 Escape". Moving forward, the escape rooms that he's working on now and preparing to launch will be developed in-house with the same level of quality and detail as his haunted attractions. The room design of the "1408 Escape" room felt a little bit dated and for safety reasons there was no ceiling to the rooms which distracted us a little bit. We've seen other rooms without a ceiling, but it was dimly lit which allowed us to continue our game without any distractions. There were some unique puzzle designs in there, but the flow of the game wasn't really there. We didn't get some of the logic behind the challenges. Although the storyline correlated with the film - "1408" , the ending didn't make sense and it seemed like we solved it but didn't understand how. The minute that you we stepped inside "Curse of the Tomb", we noticed a lot of upgrades in the decor and the design. We felt immediately drawn into the storyline from beginning to end. There were some locks and technological puzzles that we've haven't seen before which made the experience all the more interesting. I've been to pretty much all the haunted attractions in the area, except for this one! I finally decided to go. I highly suggest to park at the other address they provide on the website and take the shuttle. The shuttle runs every few minutes so it's hard to miss. Parking at the actually location is hard to come by and the shuttle is much easier. I went with my fiancee and we had 10pm tickets. The line to get in was extremely long but moved fairly quickly especially when you had some acts to watch while waiting such as a guy hammering nails into himself and flame throwers (if that's what you call them?). We waited about 40 minutes to get to the actual attraction. I will say that the main reason why this loses a star for me because when we were on line, a group of maybe 10-15 people cut us in line along with all the people behind us. While Brighton Asylum does have security and a lot of it, security noticed that they cut the line and came over and told them, "you cut the line! all these people were waiting before you" and literally that was it.... they stayed in line and the security walked away. What is the point of that? And the horror museum ... that was completely pointless. I know it was only $3 but seriously there was nothing in there. It should have been free or a $1. Anyways, we started with 'The Tunnel'. I'm not going to say much about either attraction because what good is that? You want to experience it for yourself. However, the first 5 minutes of being in this attraction is something I never have done before at a haunted attraction. It was so unique and quite scary because you had no idea what was going to happen. The whole attraction was great but the first five minutes, nothing compared to that. After that, we went to the asylum. This attraction was great as well but I actually liked 'The Tunnel' better. That being said, this was extremely unique as well. Again, I am not giving anything away BUT... there was three specific parts of walking thru this where 1) you had a HUGE jurassic park type of hand that comes out which was so cool! I have seen something like that before in an attraction but this hand could actually grab you if you weren't paying attention. 2) a HUGE crocodile that comes out of the wall - again, if you weren't paying attention... that thing would have knocked you over. To me, that was the scariest part of the walk-through and 3) an AWESOME bubble exit. For both attractions, the length of them was great. It wasn't short and you actually felt like you got your moneys worth. The amount of detail that went into both attractions is truly amazing. They really took their time making these attractions the best they could. The monsters inside weren't lackluster and were into character the whole time and truly wanted people to have a scary experience. I love all the interactive aspects and they really did a great job. I don't know if this is something I would go to every year but I would definitely go maybe every other year. read more

covid review: finally went after all these years. first off, i thin its over rated. i appreciate the amount of work all of the artists and actors put into this, but for the same price (or less), smaller lines, ive seen more interesting houses. yes i can name drop: 13th Hour. check them out. The line at this place is way too long, i waited almost 2 hours on a saturday night during covid..which was supposed to be limited compas. it was not. there were hundreds of people. also, i chose a time for my ticket - thats pretty much useless. i came at the time of my ticket and didnt get in for almost 2 hours. so keep that in mind. bring something to keep you warm on the lines, be it a blankey or liquor (choose wisely). So you go into one building, which took about 22 mins. then you walk outside and walk around the building, then they tell you to enter another building and go up some stairs and its 1 floor. you then leave the same way as the first building. this took about 10 mins. it was fun overall, but i was no impressed and the lines were redic. read more

Was not scary at all and I get scared of every single thing. It was very weak. Actors also smell of BO which I wish they could somehow conceal. The escape room is 5 minutes long and not worth it. Plus, we waited over 2 hours on line to get in. There are so many better places than this. My credit card balance scares me more than this place. read more

It was absolutely ridiculous and not worth is at all. by the time it was our turn to go in, I just wanted it to be over with, just walked through and wasn't scared at all. they have no organization whatsoever. If I could give it less then 1 star I would. I am absolutely no exaggerating and would not lie on my review, we got to the asylum at 8:45 and got into the asylum at 1am, you do the math. I also think it's ridiculous that instead of apologizing they have the audacity of calling me a liar and labeling me disorganized. We asked various workers how much longer the wait would be and they all said they didn't know, one of the workers even agreed with us when we said that it was disorganized. Very disrespectful, obviously the person replying has never worked a day in customer service. Unfortunately I could not just go another day. We planned that specifically a month in advance, because I have a daughter and we had to get a babysitter. Your right I didn't have to wait in the line. But I can definitely let everyone know how crappy your customer service is and make sure none of my family and friends ever go. PS. Went here last night (Saturday) and had a really enjoyable time. After reading some of the horror stories (no pun intended) about "3-4 hour" wait times just to get in and confusion surrounding parking and shuttle buses, I became increasingly worried. I purchased the regular GA tickets as opposed to the fast pass and was prepared to have a very long night. FORTUNATELY, this was far from the case. The shuttles ran very frequently and were very fast transports to the venue. And the wait time ended up being only a little over an hour which was completely tolerable. There's even some characters walking around to keep your eyes busy in the meantime. Now as far as the actual haunted houses... They were very fun! My one semi-real fear were if there were claustrophobia inducing moments and thankfully there was only a quick opening moment but it was smooth sailing after that. Lastly, definitely go for the glowstick/contact option. It's really not too excessive and just makes it even more fun. Lots of laughs and thrilling scares. Definitely recommended! read more

If I was able to give zero stars to this attraction I absolutely would! My girlfriend and I had planned to go last night and booked tickets after reading reviews. However from the moment we got there things went downhill! There is absolutely no signage as to where to go and we were blindly following others. To start the so called "employees" who are supposed to direct you where to go were absolutely awful at their job! As we were driving up one of the traffic directors wasn't even paying attention as he was on his phone told us to turn right and we ended up driving down 2 blocks in between multiple warehouses that ended up leading to a dead end! Upon making a u-turn and coming back we saw people coming from the dollar tree parking lot so we parked there . Next thing was as we were walking up we were sent down a dark back alley with little to no lighting and no one directing us where to go! As we walked through this alley all you heard was loud music being played and the pungent odor of marijuana being smoked which immediately put us on edge as the website had said there was a strict no drinking/drug policy....clearly this is not enforced. After what seemed like ages we finally made it all the way around back had our temperature checked and were wanded/patted down. The absolute disorganization here is incredible we were asked to provide tickets then told never mind just get in line. Which brings me to my next point THERE ARE ABSOLUTLEY NO COVID PRECAUTIONS BEING TAKEN ASIDE FROM MASKS. This made my girlfriend and I extremely uncomfortable as we were practically shoulder to shoulder with people! Bringing up my next point the amount of people smoking marijuana in the general admission line made my girlfriend and I sick and the security/employees would just blindly walk past these people and not say a word to them. The amount of people who just decided to cut/jump into the line was ridiculous and again the employees seemed to turn a blind eye to it! The entire environment as a whole felt very unsafe the amount of cursing was ridiculous and the "Actors" were extremely unprofessional. As we were standing in line of the actors came up to people behind us and stated to a younger girl "You're really pretty can I take you somewhere" Which is absolutely disgusting. We had a time slot for 10:45 pm we arrived around 10 pm and had barely moved anywhere by about 11:45 pm. Finally at midnight after everything that had happened we decided this was an absolute waste of $110 especially after coming to find out there was only 2 attractions. I absolutely recommend that you do not come here as there are so many better haunted attractions in NJ and the surrounding areas for much better prices and much more professional! To close after reading further reviews it is very clear that the person who responds to negative reviews has absolutely no customer service experience and is extremely rude to people even calling them liars and fake accounts. OK First of all my coworkers told me about this place and since I am such a horror buff I wanted to check it out so my wife and I took time out of my busy schedule to go problem number one lines are superlong if you go spend the extra money and get the fast pass OK so that's good after you get the fast pass you still have to wait for them to let You in very disorganized and not the nicest people Problem #2 if you don't choose contact them they still try to scare you I get up in your face the problem with getting up in your face is that most of the actors have bad breath and they need to use altoids before screaming in someone's face the stairs need to be marked better with reflective tape in order not to fall up or fall down doing the walk-through as far as the actors the costumes were mediocre and more attention to detail should've been considered I also need to have maybe arrows on the wall showing the direction that you supposed to go in we never got a chance to do the foam pit as promised because there was no arrows pointing to that exit also don't waste your money on the escape rooms they were zero stars to say the least there was also a big problem with the Horror Museum they should shut that down that attraction was atrocious there was no microphone on the host you couldn't hear her and the only thing they showed was costumes from props from different movies not all harbor I don't consider to me to have a movie so that was disappointing I think the best part of the end of the night was the hot chocolate so we got being of it was so cold out there sorry for the peopleThat did not get the fast pass and had to wait in that long line but all in all we got there at 7 o'clock and we're home by 8:30 so 100+ dollars I may not be going back to this thing again so I'll be want to be where read the reviews before you go and that's that And no read more

I've been going to different Halloween attractions for over 15 years and this year I had the best experience of any the places I've been to at Brighton Asylum. One of the reasons it was such a great experience is because you can allow the actors to make contact with you (or decline altogether) and they were really enthusiastic and had fun in their roles. The contact was tasteful and respectful and my whole party really enjoyed themselves. An example of the kind of contact you can expect is you're walking through a room of what looks like demonic mannequins and one of them reaches out as you're passing and grabs your arm. Otherwise, the props were really well made, makeup and costumes of the actor were really good, and the different themes in the separate areas were great too. Honestly, the only thing that will mar your experience there is long lines and if you go on the weekend or later in the evening then that's what you're likely going to face. I find that these Halloween attractions aren't too busy at 7pm and I go on Friday and haven't had to wait too much. read more

TO CLARIFY things for you, Richard G., I am actually a nanny from Montclair, NJ and have not visited Pennhurst in 3 years. How can that be?! That is correct; my disinterest in Brighton was SO GREAT that I chose to dig into my blurry Halloween memories of years past simply for the good of haunt-going folks everywhere. Really good haunted house overall, only downside is the somewhat remote location and confusion about getting there. We had tickets for 11pm on a saturday. All the earlier time slots were sold out so I figured a ton of people would be there so we parked in the remote lot where shuttles are supposed to come. There were no signs or anything indicating it was for the haunt and only 8 or so cars were there. We waited 10 min and no shuttle came so we just drove over. I never saw any shuttles or where a shuttle might pick up/drop off so who knows if they're even running them. The haunt is back between some warehouses; there is a parking lot in front of the actual entrance that I guess you can get to somehow. We noticed a lot of people parked in the dollar tree so we just did that and it worked out. As others have said, there aren't really many signs or guides on where to go from the dollar tree lot/street to get to the Asylum, and the kids working as guides are all on their phones and not paying attention. But if you just follow other people you'll find it. Anyway, aside from that the haunt itself was really good. The wait is long, even at the very end of the night we waited 1.5 hrs to go in. The haunt is a decent length - there are 3 sections with two of them back to back in one building, and then you go to a second building for the third. They did an excellent job with the decorations, there are tons of props and well put together & cohesive scenes. Rooms were packed pretty tightly and utilized space well; the general loudness combined with these enclosed spaces created a genuine sense of tension. They use a bunch of moving/shaking floors which was a nice touch. Pretty good amount of jump scares, and the actors mostly stay out of sight and get you unexpectedly. The best things, imo, are the giant animatronics that pop out in several places, the giant skeleton hands especially. That in particular was done better than any other haunt I've seen. The actors performed well enough, and were appropriately frequent. They don't touch you here which was nice. Also no annoying claustrophobic/squeeze section thankfully. Overall this is a solid haunt (I say that as someone who goes to several every year). As we were leaving one of the employees told us they do stuff here every season with various themes, I'm sure we'll come back. read more

Pros: one of best haunted houses I've ever been too. Actors are good Con: waited in line in cold for nearly three hours. Not worth that, and staff is rude. But the fast pass because the wait is ridiculous, despite picking an admission time. They have no system in place to enforce the admission times. Suggestion would be for them to check the general admission tickets for entry times and have the lines in that order. Seriously, we arrived at 8:30 and did not enter until 11:30. Then to have the staff be rude when we asked where to go for shuttle was just silly. Great time for friends and family went with my girlfriend and our friends saw plenty of families as well. Great experience if you are in to Halloween and spooky events with your loved ones. Be prepared to wait, unless you spend a little more for the flash pass. Actors are awesome I highly recommend wearing the glow sticks they give out so they can touch you. It's makes the experience much better! Just do not touch them back or taunt them. Prices are also better online so buy ahead of time and save. We will definitely be back next year! read more

I came here a couple of weekends ago with five of my friends. We bought tickets for the haunted house and the escape room, which gave us an automatic fast pass. The area in which this place is located is quite scary to be honest lol. There was like nothing around, which I guess fits the theme. We gave our escape room tickets to a worker there and she left with them, and then another worker came up to us asking for our tickets and we had to explain that someone had already taken them, so things seemed to be a little unorganized on their end, but no biggies. Our escape room was scheduled for 7:30 and we were taken in a little bit after. The escape room was pretty fun. We had to ask for so many clues haha and we didn't' even complete it before the hour was up, which I'm still disappointed in, but ohhhh well. Guess we weren't smart enough. Next we had the haunted house to go to. Even though we had a fast pass, we still had to wait a little bit, but nothing to complain about since they have workers entertaining and scaring everybody. Normally, they only let in five at a time into the haunted house, but since I'm super tiny, all six of us were allowed to head into the haunted house together. The haunted house was quite fun and not quick like your typical haunted house. I'd say it took about a good 20 minutes to go through the whole thing. So we came here on a Saturday night and parking was already full at the main entrance so we had to park offsite and get shuttled on a small school bus. There was no signage or anyone to greet us at this offsite parking lot. When we finally arrived we were dropped off at a corner street of an abandoned warehouse which I guess adds to the scaryness but again no light or signage as where to go so we were just following a herd of people. We had a time a slot of 9pm and had to wait in a ridiculously long line after line to get through. We arrived at 9pm excalty and got into the Tunnel attraction at 12am. Yeah that's right we waited 3hrs!!!! Because the wait was so long we just lost all our anticipation, anxiety and excitement. They did have some acts to watch while waiting such as a flame throwers and people dressed up in costumes to scare you but honestly after waiting so long in line it just got overrated and we weren't even scared anymore. It was also cold since we were waiting outside. It would have been nice if they had allowed some vendors or food trucks to come in and sell hot cider, coffee and warm treats because this was definitely needed to stay awake. Anyways, we started with The Tunnel where we had finally got out of our huge line and put into another line. This was a totally unique experience and reminded me of a ride in Disneyworld.The whole attraction was great but the first five minutes has you on your toes wondering what's going to happen next. After that, we waited in another line to get into the asylum. This attraction was great as well and they had every room intricately designed and unique with quite a few scares along the way keeping you on edge. Definitely woke me up after the 3hr wait in line! There is an AWESOME bubble exit which is unique and fun! For both attractions, the length of them was great. It took us 45mins to get through both attractions but then again the wait times just killed the whole experience. They really took their time making these attractions with lots detail. The monsters inside were on point and they did a good job of scarying you. Note to management: Please be better organized and not oversell tickets so people can actually have a good time instead of waiting in line for 3hrs. I understand it's a Saturday night but there needs to be a better process! Fast Pass is an option but it's also $54 which is expensive especially if you have 4 people in a group. I believe this is my second review on Brighton. Went this past weekend for the 5th year and again had a blast! The first part was by far scarier than the 2nd. Truth be told I was a little disappointed with the second walk through but I guess jt was just not as good as the first. We were a group of 7 and all loved it. The dj playing was an awesome touch. I loved the music. Ax throwing was great. The guys who worked with us were so helpful and funny. The escape room was awesome. We got Annabelle's room. The girls were great. The puzzle was great. This was the first escape room I've been to on a spontaneous outing and it was a great time. We went through their Egyptian tomb adventure and finished with a little time remaining. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our experience. The props were of pretty good quality and the puzzles well designed. The cons of this place is that their website does not function properly so ordering tickets online are easy. Also, there is not enough signage for finding their entrance, we had to call a few times to get directions there (Google maps gets confused). They should have a warning that just because the entrance is surrounded by tractor trailers in the rear of a old factory warehouse, it is not actually that sketchy of a place. You're probably not likely to get murdered here, but I'd be wary of where I park. read more

Experienced the 3 haunted attractions at Brighton Asylum on 10/23/22. They were the BEST houses I have been to. There were jump, audio, visual, set design and actor scares that went above and beyond the usual haunted attractions. We loved the fact that there were no conga lines going through the houses that you get with the other places. The first two houses it was just my spouse, me and another couple. The third house was just my spouse and me, that pushed the scare factor to 100. I was actually breathless after leaving each house, thank goodness there was a small wait before entering each house. It also took me about 1/2 hour before I got my voice back. What were they trying to do give me a heart attack! The lines waiting to get into the houses do seem to get very long I would suggest you get their Fast Pass. We waited maybe 5 minutes before getting into the houses. Brighton Asylum is FANTASTIC! LOVED IT, LOVED IT, LOVED IT - Congratulations on what your demented minds have come up with. read more

I'm reviewing the escape room game. We did "The Tomb" with 4 people.the set up of the game was awesome! It's very interactive. I love that it's multiple rooms in one which is so much better. I have done escape room games in just 1 room and that wasn't as fun as multiple rooms. The first part can be quite challenging, but the whole experience was a lot of fun. You have to solve puzzles in order to move on to the next room. It definitely gets your mind going and tests your Sherlock Holmes skills. We're definitely gonna go back for the other game! Highly recommend! Update: We came back for the 1408 escape room and it definitely did not disappoint. John Anthony is the GM and he was the one who hosted our game. He was absolutely hilarious and very chill. They can take up to 7 people here but I think it would get pretty crowded. I would stick with 5people max to really enjoy it. This is definitely a place you shouldn't miss out on. They update the rooms from time to time with new puzzles, so I wouldn't mind going again. read more

Pretty high quality! Fast pass is super worth it! They put a lot of effort into props and equipment. The staff is very friendly too.

I can't believe how good it was this year. Almost speechless. The set alone is just incredible. If you don't get scared easily then just admiring the work and the set alone is worth it. Be mindful I was scared the whole time haha This year it's 3 sections of haunted houses so YES the line takes forever but you see why when you are done. It's very much worth the wait. (We waited about 1.45 after our appointment time but we also went the night before Halloween. I would go back this year to see it again that's how amazing it was. You'll be in the pitch dark, in fog, in strobe lights, have moving things around and under you. It's just great this year. Looking forward to May being trying Christmas and reviewing that one. read more

Let me start off by saying my friend and I had a total blast at Brighton Asylum for Friday the 13th. Be prepared to park off-site as the lot gets full quickly--luckily we had a Mini Cooper to squeeze into a small spot. The designated t-shirt staff is helpful in directing you to where you need to go upon arrival. Our wait time to get into both The Tunnel and The Asylum was surprisingly quick considering it was Friday the 13th. The staff does their best to get everyone organized into groups to transition you into the attractions smoothly. The actors on the outside do a great job of interacting, having fun, taking selfies, etc. As for the attractions themselves, they are works of art. Personally, I don't get scared easily but I enjoy haunted attractions for the fun of it. The actors really have a great time bantering and scaring guests, so it's totally entertaining if you're with people who get scared easily. Both The Tunnel and The Asylum are warm and do require some physicality aside from walking, so dress properly. The actors are also great about not touching you, but be prepared for them to enter your personal space. I'll be totally honest when I say I wasn't really digging just a few aspects of the attractions. There was a problem during our time in The Tunnel because it wasn't clear where we were supposed to go, so two groups ended up fumbling around a hallway trying to figure out which way to go. I don't want to spoil it, but in The Asylum there are two areas you need to stop and time yourself passing through because of an interaction. This caused somewhat of a traffic jam, so to avoid getting hit, my friend had to jump back, causing me to jump back and stumble into an older man. I think this could be much smoother for guests if they had one of the actors assisting like they do for some of the other physically interactive features. Since it was Friday the 13th, I think we both expected there to be more of a theme aside from Jason Voorhees randomly appearing during one passage of the attraction. This place is the best every year, every holiday it's open it always tops and is fun to do over and over again. I have yet to find anything wrong with this fav haunted house. Highly recommend going to this haunted house. Only complaint would be to put outdoor heaters for the customers and staff. Yesterday was brutal but the staff toughed it and pushed on with the night. Heaters wouldve made standing in line so much better. Other than that petty gripe theres nothing else that couldn't be better with brighton asylum. Now they added a paranormal hunt which will be added on the to do list this coming year..great job guys read more

While the haunted house inside is well done, the organization to enter is TERRIBLE. Expect a 2+ hour wait if you purchase General Admission tickets. And once you think you're finished with the 2 hour wait, they place you in another line. It baffles me that they haven't figured out to make the lines more efficient since you're purchasing the ticket for a specified time. Overall I do not think the 20 mins of entertainment is worth the wait. read more

Super spooky, dark and grey. Screeching sounds and howling hounds. Ugly dead people hanging around. Shaky bridges and A scary Midget?? Oh, and look out for the ROARS! Don't think black or white, just follow the light. You're knees may get weak, no time to freak. It's just a haunted house attraction.... I'll admit, I screamed. But I cannot say this has been the best attraction. Kudos to the creative and artistic team for sound effects, wardrobe, decor, and makeup. Maybe, an additional floor should be added for more suspense... or Maybe have one segment of the course where individuals go SOLO!!! That would be so cool!! read more

Incredibly disappointed with the business. Tried for weeks to change the date on our tickets because they don't give refunds. Called, emailed, called again. Never heard a word. Even went as far as to call the owner and creator. Wasted our money on a place that is clearly unaccommodating to unfortunate circumstances when they make it clear in their emails they don't give refunds but will change the dates on tickets. Was very excited for this place but the lack customer service is so disappointing. read more

Came last year and it fell nothing short of amazing. This year was looking forward to the same, but was very disappointed. We had a 9pm pre purchased ticket and didn't get into the attraction until 11:45pm. The wait didn't bother me as much. What bothered me was that In the "asylum" there was a total of maybe 6-10 actors in the whole attraction, there needed to be plenty more. Bleeding grounds was easily the best and scariest part. Last year groups were more spaced out and you didn't run into anyone whereas this year it was a constant inflow of people. Also reading some of the reviews, the owner seems rude and does not know how to take constructive criticism. I will not be attending in further years due to his attitude toward his customers. read more

My complaints will seem endless for Brighton Asylum and the biggest and most important is that I didn't even make it inside the haunted house. First and foremost, parking lot was full and we had to find street parking blocks away. Maybe tell us the parking lot is full before entering? Or add a warning of some sort on the ticket? My friends and I arrived at around 9:45pm and we bought our tickets for 10pm. It was freezing outside, and of course you have to wait outdoors (maybe add a tent or even a bonfire or something?). We didn't move one bit and we waited until about 11pm. The lines only got longer and we were NOT moving one bit! It was absolutely ridiculous. Also when we thought of getting fast track- their ATM was not working and only cash was accepted. We left as we were still in the back of the line, and we had waited in the cold for over an hour. It doesn't make sense to sell so many tickets for each time slot if we're all just gonna wait for over an hour (or two?) to get in. Also it doesn't make sense to continue selling so many fast track tickets- only leading to longer waiting times for all of the people who purchased general admission. Things can become so much more efficient but steps aren't taken forth in doing so. read more

They really put a lot of effort into this escape room. The craftsmanship is superb. Im hard to scare, but they got me a few times.

We bought the scared stiff fast pass for $75 pp after taxes and fees on a Sat night. Def helped save time with barely any wait, but it was not very scary. We jumped a few times for sure and got a few laughs. Some of the actors were really good, but probably not worth $75. The horror museum that is included is a waste of time - it is a room of nostalgic costumes from various movies and is not scary whatsoever. Throwing the hatchets were pretty cool and the dude was very friendly. read more

Originally rated this 1 star because of my gun not working during the entirety of the zombie attack and then had a kid employee lie to me about who the manager was. Upon leaving my initial review I spoke with the owner who apologized and refunded me the money. I probably wouldn'y go back, but I would recommend it to people if they asked. read more
