Veggie omelette, 3 Piece French Toast, Big 5 Breakfast Special

We had the most AMAZING experience here two days in a ROW! Absolutely amazing food and big portions for very reasonable prices. The staff is so so sweet and it has a classic diner feel. Absolutely recommend this restaurant it was a highlight for us! We got the omelets that were filled with veggies and toppings and the French toast that was the best French toast ever! All the food that the tables around us got looked amazing as well! (Sandwiches and salads)

My first time coming here and let me tell you the food is amazing cooked perfect and taste great as a Rhode Islander I approve

Best breakfast spot in Brighton, hands-down coming from a Rhode Islander who tried more the 7-8 breakfast spots from newtons to Brighton

THE BEST BREAKFAST CAFE! I recommend the BLT for something light and the thai iced tea is good too. The prices are very reasonable and affordable

Best grilled chicken on Greek salad! If you love breakfast and quick lunch this place is great place to make your tummy happy.

Veggie Omelette-comes with toast and home fries!

Perfect for a late Saturday brunch after sleeping in after a long week of work! I know brunch can be quite an affair- but the good thing about this is place is that you can literally wake up, put on a jacket, and head on over for some good food for cheap prices (and I mean CHEAP.) I had the veggie omelette, which came with a couple pieces of toast and generous serving of homefries. Definitely not the most delicious thing I have ever eaten, but definitely hit the spot for only $9 (what a deal!!!). I really liked that the veggie omelette included a generous amount of broccoli--not many places that I have been to put broccoli in their veggie omelettes and the fact that they put a whole lot of it was an added plus for me. Brighton Café is not the type of brunch place you'd dress up for to meet up with your girlfriends for some mimosas, but it is definitely a solid spot if you're looking for something quick, easy, and cheap (talk about my kind of brunch!!). The service is prompt and the staff are accommodating--thus, making this one of my go-to places for breakfast/brunch in the area!

Steak & Eggs, Chicken Tenders, and Irish Breakfast -- i know, we went all out!!

Absolutely delicious, quick, and worth it. So happy we decided to come here for breakfast. The place may look less aesthetically pleasing compared to your typical fancy & overpriced brunch bar around the neighborhood, but the food simply hits the right spot without draining your bank account. I will definitely come back here for whenever I crave a champion-style breakfast.

I'm a big fan of buying local, and I'm always down for a good "greasy spoon" diner. I found myself in the area with a lot of time to kill early on a weekday and Googled breakfast spots near me. Brighton Cafe had the look of a good diner style spot, and got pretty good reviews. I really wanted to love this place, but it just felt like a bit of a miss overall. I ordered a ham and cheese omelette with a side of bacon and a cup of coffee. Omelette was dry, and had some sort of white American cheese in it, which wasn't that appetizing. Home fries weren't really cooked much - I expected to see some sort of griddle char or something on them, but they were pale and coated in some sort of seasoning that wasn't very good - maybe they were microwaved? But, hey, service was pleasant, coffee was hot, and I ate most of what I was served (left the home fries). They had a steady trickle of customers ordering coffee and takeout breakfast sandwiches (not many dine-in patrons), so clearly this is a regular spot for many in the area. It just left me wanting more. I probably won't come back, but mostly just because I'll not likely be in this area with extra time to kill for breakfast again.

This place was in walking distance to where we were staying while visiting MA. It wasn't busy at all and had a lot of open space for seating. Our waitress brought us coffee right away and took our orders shortly after. My boyfriend had starting asking specific questions about how the food was cooked, and the waitress immediately asked if he was lactose intolerant. So huge points for that astute realization. We ordered breakfast dishes that came out fast and hot. And scrumptious! We weren't bothered while eating, and the waitress came over once more to refill our coffees. The place had a cafeteria like open feel to it, with a tv on in the background. The news I think. Just a really relaxed and welcoming vibe to come into for a casual breakfast. Definitely recommend.

As for food, we ordered the mini beef wellington, the banh mi & bone marrow, the curry chicken, and the loco moco. I loved the variety of dishes on the menu and was super impressed by the execution of all of them. They were very flavorful and cooked to perfection, with the mini beef wellington having crispy puff pastry and the bone marrow very tender. Overall, I was impressed by Esmai's creativity and would love to come back to try out more of the menu.

I got a medium iced pandan cold foam coffee ($6). The pandan cold foam was vibrantly green, but I unfortunately didn't really taste any pandan flavor. The cold foam mostly just tasted like cream. I also noticed that the coffee was not super strong, so I would recommend getting a large if you are looking for more caffeine. I tried the OG banh mi ($12). It had crispy and fragrant bread and a thick spread of pate. I liked how it was served a little warm which helped all of the flavors mix together better. I noticed that they source their milk bread locally from Japonaise cafe down the street-- I'd love to try some of their egg sandwiches next time.

We walked into an interior that is stunning in a way that makes sitting inside the obvious choice, with a Parisian influenced aesthetic that gives the space a comfortable elegance without feeling formal. The staff was consistently attentive and genuinely warm throughout our visit. The shakshuka is the dish the menu is built around and it earns that status. It arrived with a richness and depth in the tomato base that made it the kind of thing you want to work through slowly with good bread alongside it. The eggs Benedict and pancakes are both strong brunch options and round out a morning menu that covers enough ground to satisfy a table with varying preferences. On the dessert side, the Rosalach is the standout, particularly the half Nutella and half Lotus Biscoff version, which is the kind of thing that justifies coming back specifically for it. The Turkish coffee is well made and the three dollar drip coffee deal, when available, is one of the better value propositions in the area. For a brunch or lunch stop in the Audubon Circle area that delivers on both food and atmosphere, Cafe Landwer offers a polished, welcoming experience that feels special without being stuffy.

I think my only knock was that I'd have hoped my particular dish was a bit more generous in portioning, but given a look at the other things my friends ordered, this looks like it's not necessarily the norm across dishes. Great quick bite-- parking is pretty easy on this street in the morning too, so I'd recommend!

The space is super vibrant, filled with bold colors, retro diner touches, and a bunch of quirky statement pieces that make you want to look around before you even check the menu. It feels playful and energetic without being overwhelming...definitely a place that stands out from your typical brunch spot. One of the most unique things about this place is the drink menu. I loved that you can order flights...not just for mimosas, but also spritzers/mixed drink and even coffee-inspired drinks. That's not something you see everywhere, and it made the whole experience feel a little more elevated and fun. Everything we tried was solid across the board. The drinks were well-made, balanced, and honestly just fun to try in a flight format. The menu itself keeps that same energy going with quirky, pop culture-inspired names that make ordering more entertaining than usual. But it's not just about the names, the food actually delivers. The chicken and waffles were a standout: crispy, flavorful, and perfectly paired with the sweetness of the waffle. The traditional breakfast was done right too: simple, classic, and exactly what you'd want when you're craving something familiar. The real surprise for me was the crispy pimento potato bowl with chicken. It was packed and layered with flavor: comforting, a little indulgent, and definitely filling. You can tell they're intentional about how they build their dishes, not just throwing things together. Shoutout to our waitress as well...she really made the experience better. She gave great recommendations, helped us navigate the menu (which has a lot of options), and made sure we picked dishes we'd actually enjoy. That kind of service goes a long way, especially at a busy brunch spot.
